So I recently had schedule an appointment through Groupon and I made a mistake by putting my wrong phone number so they would text me a reminder and unfortunately I got my days mixed up! I tried to explain to whoever was working at the time! That I couldn't get a reminder and They refuse to help the situation and they redeem my coupon so they kept my money! Nor did they want to at least give me some type of discount for what had happened! They literally just wanted me to reschedule and pay full price and keep my groupon !?!? So I had a groupon for a gel manicure. I don't remember the lady's name but I think she's Filipina. Anyway, the polish selection is crappy but I managed to find something. She took forever and it looked OK when I left. On closer inspection, my nails are filed crooked and three days later, the polish is lifting from around the tops of ny nails. Gel polish usually lasts me 2-3 weeks and still looks great. While I was there, a woman had a pedi and the manicurist cut her pretty badly and was so nonchalant about it - she could barely speak English so she couldn't understand what the client was saying. Will never go back again! I should get a refund $$$ for the gel manicure!!! 1st shellac manicure lasted only 4 days ( red color) and 2nd (gray color) only 2 days!!!!!! Generally, shellac manicure should last 1.5-2 weeks. FYI- I have an office job.... not in the kitchen so I don't wash my hands hundreds of times per day! Their lights for a shellac manicure are horrible!!!! It goes off every 20 sec! The timer should be set up for 60 or 90 sec... They don't have a good selections of shellac nail polish. They have 20 different shades of red, white( looks like a school white out). I decided to go here because they just released a Groupon for nails services. This is a review strictly for a mani/pedi (not hair salon services) but I am not impressed and would never return. This seems to be a Brazilian shop and the girl who did my nails didn't speak English so everything I said had to be translated. She didn't seem to care about doing a good job. It felt like she almost didn't know what she was doing when it came to cuticle care and cleaning up my nails. For the actual polish job, she put everything on very sloppy. Her technique was then to clean the outside and sides of the nails with a long wooden pick after - which took extra time. She didn't fully take off my gel so there were slight bits of color under my regular manicure. Nothing about this place is impressive and it wasn't comfortable either with them talking in Portuguese the entire time, and often feeling they were looking and laughing at me. Overall, I wouldn't come here for your nails - you could go basically anywhere else and have a higher quality job. read more

I bought a Groupon for a removal and shellac manicure and I've had pretty positive experiences through Groupon. My appointment at Quick Beauty certainly was not quick. I was scheduled for 530 pm over the phone the day before. I arrived around 535 pm and the woman at the front desk looked confused when I said I had an appointment. I understood why when I saw all the manicurists were working with clients. I left around 6pm without any services besides poorly placed removal foils that had already fallen off certain fingers. The chemical fumes in the tiny nail salon area were so intense, they made me nauseous and I had to leave. While I was waiting for 30 minutes, no one apologized for or acknowledged that they were running late. If they had, I would have understood and rescheduled. I am very unhappy. I am going somewhere else (and paying again) to get it fixed. The layers are choppy and uneven. towards the end she chopped off an extra inch and a half off the top layer after she had already finished cutting and had blowdried the bottom half. Now my hair is a mess and I have to have it cut even shorter to fix it!!! She just kept twisting my hair up in the air and just chopping off ends of the twist. Bizarre. I have to say they were very nice but the end result was terrible and now I am stuck with short hair. She tried to send me out with it curled at first (obviously the messed up uneven layers don't show with it curled). I made her straighten it and it immediately showed how messed up it was. I asked her to fix it and she tried but it still looks terrible. I am so upset. I hope the place I am going to today can salvage this mess! read more

This place is great. I popped in because I was in the area and needed a haircut, and it definitely has the nicest appearance from the outside of the several salons on the strip. The inside is equally elegant, and the whole place has a vey cool vibe. I had my hair cut by Tanya and she did a fantastic job. I have never written a review for a hair cut before, but I was very impressed. I went from very long wavy hair, almost pony tail length, to short cropped around the ears and back with some bangs on top. I usually have to 'grow into" a haircut when I go from long to short like that, but Tanya did an awesome job retaining the flow of my hair while getting it out of my eyes and off my ears. I also enjoyed the massage chair and the head massage when she washed my hair. Tanya is delightful to talk to as well. The price is perfect for a men's haircut - $15, and since I'm not sure how many guys will read a salon review, I'd suggest recommending this place to a guy friend, bf, or hubby next time a guy you know needs a hair cut. read more

100% RIDICULOUS! I booked an appointment online and even got text confirmations on both services. These people are super unprofessional. Don't waste your money here! I went up to the door and they were locked and I had to call 3 times to tell her I was waiting outside. Once she opens the door, my specialist wasn't even there and the only person there said if I had cash that she could perform the service. I didn't have enough cash on me, but I offered Venmo or normal credit or debit. Don't go there! I'm telling you, it's a waste of time. She said "you can't afford it, that's why!" My daughter went in for a haircut. She wanted a short haircut and the store associates were more concerned trying to convince her she'll look like a boy than cutting her hair. I understand, if a client has a question, provide a professional answer using your expertise. In this case, my daughter has had a short hair cut before -she didn't look like a boy- and just wanted to cut it short again. I'm not one to believe customer is always right and I don't post negative feedbacks every time something doesn't go my way. This, however, is worth taking the time to write about. When your customer comes in knowing what they want, it would be smart to just do as they ask. To readers, these people are condescending and full of themselves. Look elsewhere to take you business. Visiting QuickBeauty was a wonderful experience. It may be a bit weird at first but I got comfortable later on. I was booked to see Audrianna since I had no preference and it was my first time visiting QuickBeauty. I booked an appointment just to get my hair dyed. As I entered the salon, the environment was very nice and clean. As for choosing a color for my hair, Audrianna did a wonderful job. It is good to be slightly open for suggestions and at the same time know what you really want for your hair. What I like about QuickBeauty is how they have massage chairs connected to the sink. So basically as you get your hair washed, you are also getting a back massage by a chair massage. It was definitely a plus! Throughout the whole hair process, Audrianna did a wonderful job keeping me company with a long conversation. I also wanted to say thank you to Tanya for helping out on the color advice and a small snip for my side bangs. I don't usually get bangs since I have really thin hair and it is impossible to get full thick bangs. However, Audianna made it happen and it definitely made me happy. Nothing quick about this salon. My gel manicure took one hour and then another half hour to fix a nail that didn't dry. Multiple nails are still messed up. They quoted me one price and then charged something different. Cute interior but staff were not friendly until the very end when they messed up. I will not be returning. read more

Quickbeauty and Tania are amazing. I have been getting laser hair removal there and today was my 3rd session (out of 6) and almost all my hair that I wanted to remove is GONE. This newish little gem in Everett is amazing! I've been going to Tanya (owner) ever since she started out as a beautician and have been following her around different salons for about 4-5 yrs now. Her new salon is awesome with really cool decor and furniture, it has a modern touch with a chic vibe. She does my waxes and I am always in and out and the price is unbeatable. This past visit I decided to get a mani/pedi and I LOVED it. Paola is awesome and is very detailed in making sure your cuticles out clean and your ingrown toenails (I know gross!!) out. They have a little room for mani's/pedi's and its so cute and cozy. The chairs are so cool and the upholstery is unique with a great color scheme. I have been going here for my nails for the past couple months, and Rose is the best around. I have long natural nails and I have tried lots of places and have not been happy with the results. Once I found Rose, I won't go anywhere else. She takes pride in doing nails, she takes her time and makes sure they look perfect, which no where else seems to do. She is also very sweet and it's good conversation. I also get my pedicures there and I get very bad ingrown nails in my toes and she took the extra time to carefully get them all out and no one else have been able to do that. This is on my work/home commute so, I have stopped in several times. The good: Tania provides great haircuts and does good eyebrows. Lots of bad: First thing, service is rarely quick here. Whether you have an appointment or not expect to wait. Second thing is the professionalism. It is very loud, with lots of yelling going on. I got a pedicure from a woman who was having a loud conversation on the phone instead of engaging me or even paying attention to what she was doing. She cut me numerous times when trimming my cuticles. I had to soak my feet in epsom salt to avoid an infection. It was the final straw and I won't be returning. read more

I had a 2:30 pm appointment today for a mani/pedi. I arrived a few minutes early and was promptly greeted. Within 2 minutes, I was lead upstairs to begin my pedicure. About half way through, another tech started on my manicure. Both techs, Kathy and Leandra were great. They both took their time and thoroughly clean up my cuticles and nailbeds and Leandra did a great job and making the skin on my feet look great after walking a week in fla with no shoes! Leandra had a hair appointment, so Rose took over to paint my toenails. I opted for the French manicure on both my hands and feet. Rose and Kathy did an amazing job!!! My nails look incredible and it's probably one of the best mani/Pedi's that I have had in years! I had a Groupon, which was a plus, but I would for sure go back and have them do my nails again!
