There's no way I could have lost 29 lbs on my own and I am glad I signed up for QWLC.
Pros: I lost weight in a healthy and steady way. I was held accountable. I had to cook and learn meal prep which I did NOT do before this (and saved money by not eating out so much). My acid reflux went away without medication. I didn't have to exercise (although it helps). All the advisors are nice, helpful, and wanted to see me succeed. I learned some discipline, which I had none before. The supplements are tasty. I learned to tolerate fruits and vegetables better. I look better and feel better. The office is open until 7pm during the week which helps for those of us who have to work late to still be able to check/weigh in. They have monthly "pep class" to hear about other people's journeys and tips while doing the program. They even have a cookbook that helps with cooking meals that are "on-plan". If you check in at least 3 times a week, you can enter into a weekly drawing to win a free week of weight loss, which I needed.
Cons: the program itself and the costs of the supplements are not exactly inexpensive, but the way I've seen it, it's been an investment in my overall health and well-being and I've had a great return on my investment. I have always been a picky eater so the program hasn't been easy for me because I was basically rotating the same few foods every day/week. But for people who eat normally, it shouldn't be an issue. If you don't lose your goal weight within the initial 11-week weight loss phase, you have to "buy more weeks". I had to do that because I started this program right before the holidays and messed up some, but again, it was a worthwhile investment and the additional weeks wasn't too costly.
Overall, if you have struggled with losing weight, I would highly recommend doing this program. I was incredibly skeptical when I initially signed up but signed up despite that, and I have been quite happy to be proved wrong. I'm 29, started the program October 25, 2016 and have lost 29 lbs. It wasn't easy for me but it wouldn't have been possible without QWLC. read more
