Urgent care cannot diagnose things beyond flu, covid, and other basic illnesses. They told me they couldn't do anything for me and to just go to the ER. They charge $30 upfront. After the appt, they sent another bill for $156. My low rating is to due to being charged $200 for a useless appt. Like most of US healthcare, they are a business.

That said, the intake staff was pleasant, considerate and friendly. We went in for COVID testing for my elderly mother, which was pretty straightforward. They checked her blood pressure, oxygen levels, and completed the nasal swab rather immediately after we were escorted back to the exam room. Test results were provided within less than 10 minute period which was great. The nurse who administered the test was patient, kind, and friendly. The interior could definitely use some freshening, it's a bit aged but overall serves the intended purpose. This urgent care brand is owned and operated by Emory Healthcare, their care providers are pretty solid in my opinion.

They took my vitals and tested me for COVID and the flu. After waiting a long time, the doctor came back and said, "I don't know what's going on." He told me it seemed like I had the flu, but the test "wasn't working." His words: sometimes the tests "don't work" or "aren't good," so they don't tell you what you actually have. Completely unhelpful. On top of that, even with such a high fever, I was never offered anything for relief--not Tylenol, not Motrin, nothing. When I asked, he admitted he didn't even know where the pills were. He was completely alone in the building since the receptionist and assistant had already left for the night. I specifically asked him to send my prescription quickly because the pharmacy was about to close. He told me it was sent. I got home only to find out the pharmacy never received anything. I tried calling the urgent care back immediately, but no one answered--they were already closing, and he was the only person there. So I wasted my time, drove while feeling awful, got no proper treatment, no medication, and spent the entire night suffering with a high fever. This urgent care is completely disorganized, unreliable, and unsafe. I will never go back.

From the moment I called to schedule my appointment, Ashley was very friendly, helpful, and patient oriented. Next, 90% of the required information and forms were available for me to complete and electronically sign on MyChart. A "pet peeve" of mine is being forced to fill out my name and address on multiple paper forms. I found everyone from the front desk team to the X-ray technician to Jennie McCarthy to be very patient focused and friendly. My time in the waiting room, getting x-rays, and waiting in the exam room was very minimal. I wish all healthcare facility patient experiences could be like this! Thank you!!

I've had the same doctor from childhood into adulthood and moving to Georgia, I was nervous that I wouldn't find anyone that I like more than Dr. Sami Roumani. Dr. B is great. Even her tele-visits are thorough. I found out that one of my tests was in the positive range for pre-diabetes and I was so nervous. She explained in great detail exactly what that means and what I can do to get ahead of it since it's in my family's history. If you are looking for a thorough primary provider, I recommend. I wish I could give her five stars. Even went to her after the loss of my dad the day after he passed because I was falling into depression the next day and I know I needed to talk to my primary care. She gave me a referral and I'm glad I reached out for help. I sold my home in Jonesboro which was closer, and now live in Dallas, GA. I won't divulge every concern but I will speak to the lack of professionalism with the front a desk staff member "K." I done know why she bothers to come to work. She doesn't listen and if she doesn't want to be bothered, she will hang up on your call. I personally experienced this with her which prompted me to write this review. I've had too many incidences with her to continue to ignore it. If you are not attentive to the needs of the patients and properly relaying that to your healthcare staff how don't know if I will receive proper care. She doesn't seem to care. Every time my husband or I come to this establishment, by her demeanor, we feel as if we are disturbing her soap operas and she's nor having it. She truly needs to do better or find a job that doesn't require hospitality.
