Temperature dropped, I was drenched and chilled, and I needed to revive myself a little before the drive home. I got here 15 minutes before closing, and they had freshly brewed hot coffee, s'mores flavor pop tarts, and bananas two for a dollar, special price. I also picked up some bread on sale, $.99 for a whole loaf of white bread. The store and the kind people working here won me over that night, because it was literally a safe haven in a storm. Since then, I've been back a bunch of times, and I will continue to stop here whenever I need to pick up snack food or beverages and I'm in the area.

They also have such necessities as some dairy products - eggs, milks, several types of cheeses, even sour cream. They make sandwiches also although I haven't tried that and to be honest, I'd be wary to try sandwiches in most delis, especially while I'm away somewhere, not close to home. All in all, fantastic local countryside deli/mart that satisfies your basic needs in absence of larger stores and or pharmacies. (Yes, they sell all kind of first aid/painkillers too).

She also went out of her way to help me when I went to use my card and it wasn't working. She bought me my sandwich with her own money. I went back a couple days later to pay her back and she wouldn't take it. She working in the deli and is always hard at work when I see her. She does a great job. You don't see that very often. The deli / sandwiches are fantastic, especially the breakfast sandwiches. The egg & cheese on an everything bagel I had was delicious. The bagel was fluffy, they didn't skimp on the eggs, the cheese was perfectly melted, and the sandwich overall had a great ratio of salt to pepper to ketchup. There's a small picnic table available to eat outside under the cover of a roof, should you want to enjoy your food outdoors. It's definitely a good spot.

Parking is tough but service is quick so probably don't need to park for long. I was driving while I ate so couldn't get a picture of the sandwich.

The staff here does a great job keeping everything clean and well stocked. All the employees I have encountered are professional and polite. I love the variety of sandwiches, and the touch screen ordering system. The touch screen makes it easy to customize the orders. One of my favorite things is the croissant sandwich with egg, cheese, ham, and Sriracha sauce. Pretty impressive that they have Sriracha! The Branchburg post office is attached to this Quick Chek. The parking lot is big and I have never had trouble getting a spot.
