The worst is the towels they provide... they either have product on them that leaves a weird film on your car from other users wiping the shine with them, or they smell terrible like mildew because they are still damp and wet and just sitting in the bin to grab one; or both. I suggest other members do the same. Ended up signing up with Superstar car wash on Hole and California-- staff was attentive and friendly, the wash was really good, my car was pretty clean! They have good sized towels (bigger than Ultras) and they have them fully stocked so you don't have to worry whether there's going to be any towels or not. Only downside is the parking spots for vacuums is narrow and it's hard to have your doors fully opened during cleaning if there another car next to you with their doors open, but it's not terrible. Appears to say $2 TUESDAYS but it really says $2 OFF ON TUESDAYS. So the usually $6 Basic wash is $4 on Tuesdays and sometimes the self service screen won't honor discount so you have to go inside the little Mart on the right in that case. Second issue is that 9 times out of ten, the dryer will not dry anywhere near the full drying time, even if the countdown screen appears to be working. This means you may get a decent run on dry time but you also may not even get 30 secs before it shuts off. Be prepared with some microfiber towels on-hand if you know you're going to the wash. Otherwise you may be out of luck on a spontaneous trip and have to drip dry on the road.
