Decent carwash and vacuums. The towels are always soaked, don't bother. I like how many locations they have. Almost anywhere we go we can easily pop in for 5-10 minutes. The line moves fast. My only complaint is upon canceling, for whatever reason they apparently want a 10-day notice to cancel.... It's not like this is something complicated like a mortgage. We canceled the day before our renewal, sure enough we were charged. We talked to them about this explaining we actually changed vehicles and won't even be using it on our brand new vehicle, they told us too bad the charge is held and the following month will be the canceled month. So we got overbilled a month with a "too bad" justification.
For this reason, will never use them again, will never recommend them again!
Update: not sure how to reply to their reply so just putting it here.
1st. Read through all their reviews, on all their locations. Mostly negative. the following is consistant "didn't know about a 10 day cancelation notice, wasn't showed terms and conditions when i signed on the ipad for the member ship, etc" I fully agree with this.
2nd. A 10-day cancelation notice? Why? This is not applying for a mortgage, this is not changing a rental lease etc. You're telling me netflix, disney, amazon, instacart etc etc all have NO cancelation notice requirement, nor fee, but this stupid carwash does? Give us a good reason why, aside from you being a corrupt company.
3rd. The response they gave me was fitting. "You signed the terms and conditions when you agreed to our terms and conditions on that ipad in the line that everyone glances at for maybe 20 seconds tops. Standard. Deal with it."
But hey, the truth will set you free. You read all of these MANY reviews on your MANY locations, and you will see a pattern of consistancy on these problems.
4th. Let me talk a little more about the actual carwash experience. Price would be fair until considering the extra month of overcharge, plus a cancelation fee. Carwash is okay, it's worth it as long as you use it at least 5x a month. I don't like how closely they cram the vehicles together. I'm amazed no one at the end of the tunnel, when they have to shift from N to D, if they take even 2 seconds too long to due so the person literally only 2 feet behind their bumper could easily hit them. They really bank on everyone being on point. The vacuums we used. half the time are missing the nozzle. Some of them don't work and you have to barrow the vacuum from the next spot over. The towels are always soaked, really don't do much aside from smear the water. It does seem they are mostly clean, but dry would help a ton. Lastly the air dryers at the end. Compared to other carwashes do just fine.
If i could give constructive criticism, there are 3 things that i think would be a game changer.
1st. Get rid of the 10-day notice and fee for cancelation. We canceled not due to satisfaction, but because we got a brand new car and plan to hand wash it for a while. At least while it's still spotless. Give it a year or two and it's very likely we would've been back. But because of this cancelation hassle, we surely will not! Plenty of other carwashes out there!
2nd. The air blower at the end of the tunnel. Triple it. If your blow dryer was better than the others, this is something we easily would've been back for. It's one thing to clean a car, it's another to make it spotless. Especially in utah air. As soon as you start to drive with even a few water drops, it catches the smoke, dust and smog, and turns to dirt drop spots.
3rd. If you had someone out there where the vacuums are to hand apply a quick wax coating for either another 6$ after the wash, we would take them up on it more often than not. Note i said hand applied. They better have forearms of steel, but if they did a good job we would likely do that every 3rd wash. Maybe have them even wear a shirt that says "tips appreciated".
We wash and wax our cars ourselves. We have invested several hundreds into a nice pressure washer, soap foam blaster, soft scrubbers, lint free towels, soaps/consumables, etc. It's a lot of work, takes us about a half hour. But hey, least we aren't paying some corporate company to take advantage of us right? read more
