It is 15 years old and the life expectancy of water heaters is 10-15 years, so I thought I would have to replace it. I went to Home Depot which referred me to a service company 300 miles away. They said an electrical permit and an electrician would be required -- true, if it is a NEW installation. The extra $450 made me balk. I decide to call Clear Flo again, figuring there was always a chance that it might be something that could be repaired. Bryan made an appointment, called to say he would be a few minutes late. When he arrived, he immediately checked the circuit breaker (my first guess, too), then removed a small panel on the water heater, pushed a red button, and the problem was solved. Total charge: $0. They did replace the tree but unfortunately it was much smaller and we will have to wait for a few years to get any fruit. They did take $100 off for us to plant it ourselves. There should have been way better communication between the owner and staff so this didn't happen in the first place. The lead landscaper that was here working with the other guys said he "didn't bring his notes". We get mistakes happen, but you should probably show up with at least your notes to a job so you know what was asked to get done. Multiple areas the grass seed did not come up, so now we are left with weeds in spots we didn't have weeds before. The crushed granite patio has bare spots where the weed barrier is coming through. It's a very thin layer of stone and obviously not compacted tightly. They told us it wouldn't shift, we wouldn't have problems. It's been 3 months since it was put in and we already have an issue. We have tried calling and emailing several times for 2 months. We did get 1 call back that said they would come out to assess but it rained that day and they never called to reschedule or come out. Since no effort has been made by Dahl's landscaping to correct any of this, we will be forced to hire someone else to finish the job having to spend more money after being charged over 10k for something to be done correctly.

I cannot say enough good things about Quick Fix Plumbing! I was having serious issues with my sewer drain backing up and honestly didn't know what to expect. From the moment they arrived, they were thorough, professional, and genuinely committed to finding the root cause -- not just putting a band-aid on the problem. They flushed out the sewer line and brought in a camera to investigate, sending it all the way down to the main sewer line to make sure everything was clear. When they found the culprit -- black sludge buildup traced back to my kitchen sink -- the technician took the time to actually explain what had happened and why. I didn't feel like just another customer. I felt like someone who finally understood what was going on in my own home. They spent hours here making absolutely sure the job was done right, even bringing in a heavy-duty power washer to fully clear the line. They didn't leave until I was completely taken care of. GREAT EXPERIENCE! I had 17 different plumbing problems in my house that needed fixing, which included a leaking toilet and sink drain, broken and leaking faucets, showers, and tub valves, and low or no water pressure in multiple tub/showers spouts. Their plumber, Tyson Sieglaff (414-336-8542) was able to solve every problem efficiently with simple, long-lasting fixes, and only replacing parts when necessary - all while demonstrated a high degree of respect for my property. We called MKE Plumbing and the sent someone out within a few hours to take a look. Later that afternoon we received a call from the company confirming a quote and what it would take to get this project done. We have a unique situation in that our water heater is suspended from the ceiling, pretty high up above our washer/dryer, and it's also an unusual size. The company was able to book us in for an official replacement within a few days, as all they needed was to wait on the parts to arrive. Steve came on a Tuesday morning and was both approachable and accommodating. He helped my husband remove and replace the closet door blocking the space, and assisted in getting everything back in place afterward. All in all, the (seemingly tough) process took about five hours. We were charged roughly $2200, compared to quotes upwards of $3000 we received via phone from other plumping companies. Hopefully no return repairs but they certainly got a difficult job done.

Heiden was able to get it flowing in order to see the cause. The pipe from the basement to the connection in the street needed replacement. They were able to use an underground process that did not disturb any of the landscaping and fixed the problem. They were both efficient and kind. They cleaned up everything. Not inexpensive, but MMSD has a program for pipe issues that does assist with the cost but you do have to use approved contractors. Heiden happens to be one of those contractors. After using them, I know why they are approved. They helped us in an emergency situation and I would highly recommend them.
