Just pull up to the "enter" side, if there is a line of cars, wait. When you're up they will wave you in and then give you hand signals to tell you where/when to stop the car. They will ask a few questions about the car, it's year and the odometer reading. Attach some equipment, take some readings, check your gas cap for leaks. Ask for payment - $25 and then your done. The results are sent automatically/electronically to the government and they immediately have your results. I really appreciate this shop being there and treating me well.

For those so inclined, that'll get you a Venti drink thing next door. Take it up a notch and pay it forward on a top-line wash package upgrade. For $5 more you get the Manager's Special wash + emissions test included. You can get the wash right then or a voucher code for future use. The Special isn't a gimmick: it's like you won the charity-band-fund-raiser lottery extraordinaire. Multi-colored lights make you feel like it's rolller-derby night while your car is getting the spa treatment, with brand-name sounding hot waxes and wheel scrubs. Uh-uh-uh! Foot off the brake and car in neutral, unless you want the "1.5 minute wash" which doesn't do it (not that I know from personal experience or anything), or if you like bumper-damage insurance claims. Avoid the rear-car residue here with a hand pre-wash on every vehicle, saving you from that typical dirty rear window. Free vacuums, floor mat cleaners, and cleaning products complete the package for those wanting self-serve shine. I'll return because we have too many cars. That's a first-world problem so I'm not complaining. It's not like every single one of them is a solid gold Rolls. I mix it up with a platinum model thrown in there. My three-star rating is because I waited almost 1.5 hours to get my emissions checked here. That's by far the longest I've waited at any emissions place over the last ~25 years. I came here because the place I'd been going to in recent years was temporarily closed. I pulled up to the lot at 2:18pm on an ordinary Thursday. The time printed on my report was 3:39pm. When I pulled up, there were nine cars ahead of me. The cars were packed in and the tail end of my car (just a little bit) was sticking out onto Collier Rd. It wasn't clear where else go to because the Goodwill next door doesn't want Dekra customers in their lot. The guy in the SUV ahead of me got tired of waiting and left. A woman in an SUV behind me looked agitated and annoyed with the wait. If you come here, be prepared to wait. Hopefully, you'll get lucky like some of the other Yelpers here. This is a one-man shop. I was seen by the manager "Mr. Ben" Benjamin Floyd, who's mentioned in many of the reviews. I believe it's just him and one other inspector who works at this location. Mr. Ben is a personality. He's a talker and we hit it off immediately, joking around and shooting the breeze. I could tell he did the same with others ahead of me, because some of their faces lit up, as well as with others who left reviews (hence all the five-star ratings). He runs a tight ship and isn't afraid to put people in their place if they give him a hard time. He is trying to get cars through as fast as he can, but this location is very busy. This is a tiny place. I saw Mr. Ben had a deal where he'll do your emissions test ($25) and install two Rain-X wiper blades for $65. On-site is a porta-john and a quick hand carwash. I saw two small ladies working the carwash on the other side of the emissions testing structure. Before driving away, I pulled over and googled what size my car needed. Then I looked at my receipt. He installed the wrong size. I went back inside & Gary said he's out of the correct size. I told him I want a refund because substituting the wrong size should be MY choice, not his. He took off the new blades, put my old ones back on & gave me a refund. A week later my credit card statement showed Gary only gave me credit for one blade! They owe me another $27.99. I went in person this morning & Gary said he can't pull up the order in the computer to issue my refund. He said his "area manager" would call me about issuing my credit. I haven't heard from anyone. I've disputed it on my credit card. Very shady way of doing business. Would not recommend.
