They do not carry fresh Asian vegetables, sadly, but they do have an International aisle that carries some, and the main focus was on Mexican spices and tortillas, etc. The butcher section is one of my favorites. I was looking for pork belly and did not feel like going all the way to Edison, NJ. I saw their pork belly beautifully cut, but it was not as thick as I would like. I saw the sign indicating I could ring and speak to the butcher. After briefly asking, he cut it to the perfect thickness, and I will be able to make my sticky braised pork belly. They also carry a vast array of spices, so I was able to obtain my Five Spice here. Before I forget, they have an amazing cheese section. Some are precut, and there is a person at the counter who can cut you a fresh cheese wedge for charcuterie. Overall, a great experience at the local grocery store.

The variety of foods is a great selection. I think they could improve their health food section with more options, I have better luck in the Aberdeen store with a good selection of health foods. The cooked food is all excellent and lots of options. We also love the fresh coffee beans, it smells so good in this section of the store. We switched our Pharmacy to this Shoprite as well, and the Pharmacist, Shefali Patel, is the best Pharmacist we have ever worked with. She goes out of her way to help every patient and definitely prioritizes her customers and their needs. She is an exceptional provider.

This Quick Chek is newly built, so everything is shiny and bright. The interior is immaculate as only a brand new building can be. It's super clean. The gas prices here are significantly lower than those at the only other gas station on Easton Ave., and this aspect alone has been a conversation topic in my neighborhood, with us all commenting how grateful we are that we now have another gas station option. The parking lot is big and has a couple stations to put air in tires. Quick Chek has a fantastic selection of food, drinks, and supplies. Their deli makes good sandwiches and soups, and this location has both outdoor and indoor seating areas. There's a nice feeling that comes with opening a new store, and I could sense the energy and enthusiasm of the employees, even very late at night. Everyone seemed in a good mood, staff and customers alike. I'm glad Quick Chek opened a store here and I predict they will be very popular. I plan to shop and gas up here a lot!

In a pinch this notoriously high priced/low service provider comes in handy especially if you're not looking too closely at the quality of their meat and produce. I also like that I can get fresh clams already in a container so I don't need to shuck them myself, which is very easy for the clams in white sauce. Staff at the fish section are always friendly and if I am not sure about a fish/shellfish, they point me in the right direction for what I need for whatever recipe I am making. Meat section is expensive, but I like the cuts and the freshness of the items, they have fresh rabbit which I am huge fan of eating in stew. Lamb is also very much a staple so they have plenty of options, bone in, bone out, chops and legs. Produce is everything I need especially hard to find items like lemon grass. I do like the pre cut fruits so they have watermelon and mango which is perfect for lunches and after dinner dessert. Deli section the guys are very nice and always slice what I need, sometimes I ask for the end pieces and they are ok with weighing and wrapping it, I have been to other markets and they give attitude or refuse to weigh and wrap it for me. If it is the case, it can be sold!! So, is Wegman's a little pricier than other markets, yes, but you really can't surpass the quality and variety of items. I shop here twice a month and on average spend between $250.-$400. depending on shopping needs for the weeks food items. I also have to add a comment on the restrooms, I can only comment of the ladies, once I made the mistake and went to the staff ladies lounge restroom.. but both the public and staff are clean and well stocked with the basics.

I then took a chance and purchased them again today. When peeled they were a very odd bright red color that I have never seen pn a mandarin before. I was afraid to eat them. I disposed of them. I then got out the grape tomatoes that I purchased this afternoon. Most were wrinkled and clearly should not have been sold. McCaffrey's is going to have to step up their produce quality to keep my business. I cannot keep throwing food away. I don't have time to waste returning it either. I barely have time to shop. McCaffrey's should be premium quality. I should not have to inspect everything I take off the shelf. I'm deeply disappointed.
