I gotta say quick chek was a nice place to stop in the morning for breakfast. My coworker told me it was like the 7 eleven of New jersey, but they make everything fresh to order. Just go to the kiosk and choose your kind of food, toppings, sauces etc and place your oder. I got a wrap with egg whites, pork roll, provolone, and sausage patty with a side of hash browns. It was very good! I appreciate the freshness of it all. The service was nice. The cashier was friendly. I would come back for breakfast again. And next time, I'll try the hot honey chicken sandwich they have. read more

Disgusting service can't even treat customers with the slightest bit of respect if you are going to run a business learn that not everyone works for you. Apparently they decided that because they had a bad system for self checkout that it was time to have a fit. If you don't like yourself or your job just say that when a customer wants to make a purchase and they tell you the machine won't accept it don't say it was their fault and then go to another machine cause you know I was right. Most people stopping here are starting or ending their long commute from New York we don't need your bs attitude when we want to get our coffee. read more

Sadly the service here is in need of improvement, the cashiers are mostly self serve navigators. So you ring yourself up and pay at a self check out, unless you need cigarettes or lottery. The problems I run into happen when using the touchscreen to order. More than 4 occasions I order something that clearly prints on my receipt and pay for it only to find out that my sandwich is wrong. So the only conclusion is reading isn't a priority to work in the deli. If Quick Chek wanted to have menus with multiple options then they should have their employees accommodate those options. I visit this location mostly to get gas because it's on my way to work. I never usually have to give myself more than 10 mins extra time in the morning because it's always well staffed and the attendants come quickly. I've gotten coffee and sandwiches here a few times and can't complain. They do have a bonus though! Their air pump typically used to refill tires is free! And from what I've been told, you just have to set the machine to the pressure you want to tire to be and it'll automatically stop once it reaches that pressure reading. Gas prices for credit cards are close to gas prices for other stations for cash (this location is same price cash/credit) so if you only have a card to use, this is definitely your best bet. read more

Take too long for gas. In the a.m hours they only have 4 pumps open. The food isn't good at all and the staff behind the food prep station aren't friendly and don't even say your number, just smack your sub on the countertop, and watch everyone fight over whos it is. They also have the "I hate my job" look which to me when most people who are coming in, in the moarning are most likely on their way to work. That attitude is contagious. You walk in happy ready to start you day and leave with black cloud over your head made at the world. Then the payments process is unorganized they only have the computerized system with no cashiers, theirs no line structure your all just standing there and when one opens the first person to lean in towards the open one gets it. Theres plenty of other pit stops in the area this is one I'm not enthused when forced to make. read more

I am a frequent customer at 853 Convery QuickChek. Service and food are okay, but the men's bathroom is consistently repulsive. It sells to the point of being a serious health hazard! The urinal always has wetness and sometimes a puddle...every time I have used it...for over 5 years. I come here primarily for lunch and beverages. Initially, I was quite skeptical of a convenience store. How good could it be?? But actually, for a convenience mart, its really good. I've been going to quick Chek since the first one opened in Dunellen. I worked at the one in South Plainfield in the 80s. I go everyday get gas, drinks and coffee. Sometime 2x for coffee. This location is by my job so it's convenient. However dirty and gross. Another shopper spilled a coffee on me in the morning and I asked employee what could be done she said nothing told me complain directly to company. Went there today to get two meatball sandwiches as they had the 6 inch sandwiches for 1.99!!! A few minutes after placing my order the inform me that they had no meatballs!!! If you know you have no meatballs you put a sign up to inform the customer!!!! read more

their deals weren't accurate. when they post something is on sale the customer shouldnt be told they're wrong when they didn't provide all of the deals terms and conditions. all it said was on sale. when pointed out about deals its oh uhm uh you're wrong i dont care. this older white lady with blonde hair was VERY unprofessional. let alone tell us we were wrong but to walk over 3 times because she forgot what we were trying to buy and their sale. it disgusts me. this should mean alot because i never write reviews. read more
