There was no communication to let me know it will take that long and I put the things I had to go do on hold, waiting for them. Waste of my time tbh. The person finally arrived and they seemed to be pretty confused on what needed to be done. I asked if he could first check if he could repair the tire and do that if possible and he told me he didn't have the tools for that. He could only fix the tire from the outside, not completely - again, not communicated to me before. He ended up just putting the spare on. When bringing the car down from the jack he basically just slammed my car down rather than bringing it down slowly. Overall, communication 1/5 and service 2/5 Another thing for future customers to note. I had my car parked in underground parking and was told it'd be around $40 extra charge for that. I ended up moving my car on the street. The person that came, came in a car smaller than mine ... so not sure what the $40 would've been for because that car could've easily fit in underground parking.

My elderly parents 82 & 79 arranged to have their car out to Willowbrook Chrysler. The Driver showed up. Great! As the key making could not be done for their car anywhere in Surrey. My mom & I were on the Phone with BCAA. My dad booked under his basic membership. However, my Mom has the Plus membership. BCAA told my mom to go out and give her card to the driver which she did and driver wrote it down. Then told my parents they had to take payment of overtime from them. Pardon? Of course my parents put it on their credit card. Plus Bayview had my Dad's Basic Membership and My Mom's Plus membership. I contacted Bayview Towing to correct this situation. She said "If BCAA said that it's a lie" continued to say more of the same rhetoric. I don't appreciate receptionist/Dispatcher slamming people who have been very caring with my elderly parents. Unlike Bayview Driver who outright told my parents it was "Overtime " and then the receptionist/dispatcher who said "Because your dad only had a Basic Membership and that is the reason for the charge " I explained My Mom, myself and BCAA where on the phone and the BCAA Professional told my Mom to give her card to the driver as she has a plus membership and her tow of 14.5 km would be fully Covered " We stayed on the phone while she did that. Taking advantage of clearly Vulnerable People is exactly what happened as soon as I and the BCAA professional hung up. Bayview said only BCAA can change that so call them. I did call BCAA spoke with a Professional and he tried to get to change and as for a refund for my parents credit card. Bayview said their card already been charged to late. The driver charged their card that is not new information. Both the receptionist/dispatcher and driver took advantage of my parents and didn't give a damn. Bayview did call me back after I hung up and I was on the phone with BCAA. There is absolutely nothing they can say to right this wrong. Since they never tried in the first place. BCAA is well aware of what transpired and has it on their memberships to NEVER use Bayview again for my parents. Willowbrook Chrysler is well aware of what happened to my parents. Luckily the driver hadn't dropped off the car yet. So now Bayview is on the radar of other businesses as well. I can handle someone who clearly doesn't want the job they have receptionist/dispatcher. What I want stand for is taking advantage of Elderly Vulnerable people not my parents or someone else's. That is the reason for my review today. I DO NOT RECOMMEND Bayview towing to ANYONE. What was done to my parents was/is appalling and disgusting. Then Blame it on BCAA. It wasn't BCAA saying it was "Overtime" it was their Bayview Driver. That is exactly what my parents believed they were paying for. Had they known it was my dad's membership card they would not have gotten their credit card. My mom would have quickly referred to her membership number she had given the driver and he wrote down. This what being paid on commission means. Take advantage of anyone you can looks like. He charged me 400.00 and in the process refused to put my truck in the driveway because he claimed the angle was too tight despite like 4 other tow trucks his size doing the exact same thing with ease. It was late at night and simply didnt give a crap and just wanted to go home. He obviously didnt care about stranding me in the middle of my street or he is an extremely incompetent driver. My tire was seized so it couldnt be pushed and he was my only option. I had to pay another tow truck 150.00 to just push it in the driveway because of him. I had neighbors honking at me all night and i couldnt sleep until 2am because i was stuck calling around for someone to help me since i couldnt be blocking the street in the morning. I would only recommend using this service if you are dropping off at a empty parking lot and if you dont mind being gouged. He also bent my trucks liftgate doing nearly 1k in damages. Was quite unlucky in 2024, and was involved in 3 collisions. The first two times, I had another…read moreshop repair my car. The third time, when I went to the same shop, they indicated, that if I went through ICBC, they would write off my car. Shop quoted me $10,000 to repair it privately if I wanted to keep the car. I decided, to search for somewhere else, and found Bridgeport Collision. Asked for a quote, and was quoted $4500-$5000 to have it repaired privately. They indicated I should be able to have it repaired through ICBC no problem. Had an estimate done, and they were correct, and I was able to get the car repaired through ICBC. Turns out to be a $5700, repair only. No idea why the previous shop quoted me $10,000. Parts arrived quickly as well, dropped off my car on a Saturday, parts arrived Tuesday the following week, and got the car back the same week. Special thanks to Henry, who was super helpful with me the whole time, and even offered to get my flat tire repaired to save me a trip to the tire shop. Excellent service, and they did an excellent job repairing my car. It's as good as new now. Will definetely come back again
