My car took two hours to complete and it is unclear why since nothing particularly special was accomplished. The do-it-yourself bays are terrible. Only one is questionably operational. The hose to the sprayer is taped up and spayed all over me when I tried to use it. No soap came out of the sprayer when selected. When I tried wax, it just shut off all together. The vacuums are in similar shape. Only two questionably work. It doesn't tell you how long you get for the price. But it is not very long at all. The only reason I have three stars is because the attendants for the drive through compensating me with a free drive-thru wash after the disaster in the pressure wash bay. They need to just shut down the rest of this place if they aren't going to fix it. I like to do business local. But this place has gotten gradually worse for several years. read more

This car wash is horrible. The do it yourself part only works halfway. I got trapped in the continuous running of the hose when I didn't push the button to stop "correctly " and had to ask for someone to stop it for me. The pressure was the worst and my windows were left with a spotting residue that won't come off. Forget the vacuum, it barely sucked anything out. Plus there's no timer so you can get stuck paying for more than you want to spend the time getting your car barely vacuumed out. Skip this place if at all possible! It's a complete waste! read more

Wow. Finally a coin operated car wash that is clean and kept up. Went to knock the bugs and grime off my truck after pulling my fifth wheel from up north. Place is really clean, their equipment works and they play great music. Kudos to the owner for taking pride in his business. read more

I went through the drive thru car wash and the attendant was SO rude. He didn't even say hello and then barked at me that me wheel was turned too much. Then he yelled at me that I didn't take my foot off the brake fast enough. Just really unpleasant. And then I got out of the car was and saw that I still had bugs and spots all over my car. The Shell gas station car wash I normally drive thru in Buellton was closed due to either renovations or repairs. Thankfully I turned to Yelp for a secondary option, and Yelp delivered with Quick & Clean! This Quick & Clean Car Wash has self-wash stations available, however I'm too lazy for that. The automatic car wash entrance is all the way in the back of the lot (enter on the right and go around to the left rear). Upon entering, a friendly staff member assisted me (no automated payment machine is available when the car wash is closed). The worker accepts credit cards or cash. He also gave my pup a treat bone which was a nice gesture. Their pricing is affordable ranging from $8 Basic Wash to a $12 Ultimate Wash; not to mention a Manager's Special that was $15 and came with a microfiber cloth and car scent. The automatic wash was quite thorough, however, the dryer could be more powerful to improve the amount of excess water removed from the car's exterior. I always bring my own towel to drive windows and trunk that often have remaining water. Otherwise I'm super happy with this other local car wash option. read more

This car wash always has the friendliest employees! I love that they scrub alllll the yucky buggies off of the front bumper and headlights-and also give the windows a good scrub before they roll you on through the wash. $10 is a good deal, as my car is always sparkling clean afterwards. We went to this car wash yesterday after spending about a week and a half in the desert with our new Subaru. It was filthy and needed a big time wash. The washing station was normal it was nice because they excepted credit cards there as well as cash or quarters. We went over to the vacuums they were slightly under powered but still worked. I went to get a chamois cloth out of the vending machine and it didn't fall out. I noticed one of the guys working there walking by and told him about it he offered to either refund my money or go and get one for me. He Was apologetic and went to get us a chamois cloth right away. Super friendly guy make sure we are taken care of. We will be back for sure read more

I used this car wash this morning, the first bay I used had a broken credit card reader. I went to the other stall used the credit card reader start to rinse and wash, out of curiosity I stop the car wash to see what they charged me because it only stated $3 to start. The credit card reader it charged my CC $57. I had rinse my car so I swiped my card again and it charged me additionally $40 for a less than 10 min car wash. Crazy highway robbery. Don't go here, reporting them to the BBB. read more

Stopped by to wash my Tesla midday on a weekday. The stall I used had a broken cash receptacle. I figured I would use my card not realizing that there is an ongoing charge happening until I manually turned off that unit at the control panel. Other self-serve car washes I use, are timed and turn off automatically after the session is done. I feel ripped off paying $14.50 at this place to wash my own car! Beware! read more

We tried calling it several times hoping to find it inside our car, but no luck. We called it a loss, AGAIN. We get home and a call comes from Justin. Justin? Well He happens to be the Manager of the carwash and found my wifes phone during maintenance of the drive thru carwash. How the #^$^ did my wife lose her phone inside a drive thru carwash? What a terrible car wash experience today! Drove through in my Toyota Corolla and near the end of the wash we heard a loud noise hitting the roof of our car. There are scratches in the paint all across the top of the car!!! Do not risk your paint job! Our family with 5 vehicles will never return here! I returned and simply asked him to run it again since it was not clean. He said he would charge me again for a job he did not get right in the first time. I asked if he remembered my visit " I never skip the front pressure wash, I think you have old bugs". He called the owner who said "charge him for another wash!" Don't even waste your time, you are better off washing it at home or taking it to Ceasars or any other local car wash. The brushes are filthy and you are pretty much making your car even more dirty than it was. The brushes don't even give you soap more like dirty water. It pains me to write this because I know the owners do Charity car washes occasionally that support the community. I had 2 of my cars washed at Quick and Clean in Buellton last week. One car was washed in the automatic "tunnel" while the other I handwashed in a manual bay. The auto-wash itself was not terrible, but the young male employee did not do a good job of prepping my vehicle. I had paid extra for him to do the tires and this was not done. In addition, the front of the car was not prepped/brushed properly leaving most of the bugs on the grille (did not notice until I fueled up a block away). One non-motivated person is not enough to prep and ensure a good job is done. In Santa Maria at the 76 station on Broadway, they charge $5 instead of $8 and have 3 or 4 people working hard on your car including prepping and a hand dry after the forced air drying. How can a manual wash also fail? Let me count the ways. 1) 3 out of 4 wash bays were out of commission when I was there. They should rename the place "Slow and Dirty" 2) Confusing/lack of directions in operating the control console ($ or tokens? How much time will I get?) 3) No responsible staff checking on the bays. The lady in front of should never have been allowed to leave the detritus from her crap filled horse trailer all over the wash bay and drive off...inexcusable behavior that could have been corrected with a staff member. The lady was there half an hour and no one checked to see the mess she was creating. The paying customers should not have to supervise/police the operation. Sorry, but the lack of basic maintenance and staffing is a major fail in my book. I won't be coming back until things get better even though I live in the Santa Ynez Valley. I guess until things get better, I will be saving carwashes for the Costco run to Santa Maria. read more
