I wasn't goin to use insurance so I called and got a good faith estimate in writing from LabCorp. I went to the facility to get my blood drawn and let them know I would not be using insurance and I had a good faith estimate. They had me pay that. I later get an email to pay my bill. The statement says I owe another $1,300. I called and got passed from department to department to get it fixed. Each employee had a different story of why I was charged. One person said my doctor asked for more testing. I asked my doctor and she said she never asked for anything more than what was sent in the beginning. I am then told to email my receipt with what I payed and the good faith estimate to the email they provided. I got a response to call one of the numbers I had already called. I emailed them back to forward my email to the appropriate department. They emailed saying the only way to change my statement is from a fax from my doctor. I will now be contacting the state since they have gone well over their good faith estimate and this violates the No Surprises Act.

The waiting room has a kiosk for Check-In ( again with appt or for walk-in) Have your Driver's License ready (& if you are using Insurance, that card too.) The kiosk scans these cards. Check In takes only a few minutes. The,staff gets patients In\Out FAST!! I have "hard to find" veins. I run into painful issues sometimes. BUT here we are 3 for 3 for perfect blood work extraction. I'm extremely disappointed with my recent experience at LabCorp. We had a scheduled appointment but…read morestill waited over an hour in the lobby. While waiting, I watched multiple patients ask the front desk for help understanding paperwork or for assistance with their children's tests -- some of which seemed urgent -- and they were completely ignored. Even worse, I overheard staff talking about these patients behind their backs, saying things like "common sense isn't common." Another patient in the lobby stepped in to aide those with questions. When we were finally called in, the phlebotomist left the room multiple times to service other patients, which dragged out our visit even longer. I even tried to lighten the mood by chatting with the phlebotomist to make the situation less awkward, and she ignored me completely -- not even basic courtesy. On top of that, the conditions were unsanitary. I work in the medical field and I know what a clean, professional environment should look like -- this was not it. Altogether, we spent nearly an hour and a half just to have two simple vials of blood drawn. Completely unacceptable for a facility that's supposed to provide professional healthcare services. Really disappointing guys, do better.

I sat back down in the room and seconds later, Monica walked in. She was really sweet, personable and engaged in conversation. She made the process all so smooth. I was in and out in less than 10 minutes. I would absolutely return to this location if I needed bloodwork again.
