Horrible service. No one could problem solve and I had to wait 5 hours for a simple service.

Wait time was minimal before being called in to pre-op on my surgery day. They have a big screen in the waiting room to keep track of patients which was pretty nice. Restrooms close by and clean. Sarah was my nurse and she helped me feel at ease during my procedure prep. We chatted and compared our Italy trips while she got me dressed and took vitals. My Dr came shortly before my surgery and went over a few things and left me in good hands. Everyone there was friendly and thorough in explaining what would be happening. Before I knew it I was wheeling into the operating room and given my anesthesia and lights out! I awoke in the recovery room and was asked by Joe if I was in pain. I was barely awake but said yes so he gave me some pain meds in my IV which helped quickly. I was able to wake up more and helped to get dressed to leave. I was wheeled out to my ride and felt ready to go. My only other hospital experience was with Renown but now I feel confident in going to NNMC in the future if necessary!

The bill read: "Need to set up a payment plan? Call customer service at..." Hoping to do just that, I called the 800 number shown on the bill. I was on hold for 35 frustrating minutes until I got connected with a representative who's command of English is "not exemplary", requiring me to ask her several times to repeat things she said so I could understand her. Despite the bill stating that payment in full was due "yesterday" (Sunday 2/22/26), I was told my bill was not "finalized" yet and that she could not set up a payment plan until it was. I asked when that would happen and she suggested I "call back in a week or two" (meaning: she didn't know). Extremely frustrating!!

I care about people and didn't want to see them get hurt. I was already worried about it because it seems like the dr didn't not worry about their patients at all specially their family. I would often think they would stop by on purpose so they could avoid families I don't know that's just my opinion. It was rare to speak to a dr it would have to filter through a nurse. I would have the sense that the patient I would visit would be left alone sometimes and nurses where not on top of their patients some would be talking in the nurses station. One time the patient I visited witch was often vitals where up the roof 180/158 something like that oxygen was high and the patient was shaking freaking Out because the patient didn't feel good and was left alone and the nurses had taken their own time and didn't seem worried at all I was told they would take care if it. No sense of worry and care at all. One time I witnessed another patient in an almost c shape fetal position on their head was at the edge of the bed when we heard the thump he/she had fallen off the bed. There really isn't much supervision even tho there's cameras even the camera monitors rarely were seen even looking at them. Bed sheets where always dirty patient was always do it tu to you have to be on top of literally everyone on top of your worry. It shouldn't be that way. Cleaning ladies were often the ones worried about the patients. I noticed onetime that a cleaning lady was walling by and heard one of the patients asking for help and nobody but her noticed and let the nurse know and the nurse seemed indifferent. Northern Nevada hospital looks abandoned as it is and TAHOE PACIFIC HOSPITAL gives you the slaughter house right out of a movie And to add the cherry top social worker Arron (woman) don't know how to spell her name, she has a cold heart she simply doesn't have any sympathy or feelings, she might be a robot, what so ever. Is messy forgetful and looses your paperwork patients to her are $$$$$ if you are low income or have limited or no med insurance, GOOD luck she will recommend hospice in a heartbeat. Please please be careful. Yours truly, Guardian Angel.

When there are only two other options in town and you're used to being treated like you're a nuisance; this urgent care is a breath of fresh air. I went online in search of an appointment. Making an appointment and having all the services they provide and estimates if you're cash paying was a nice tool. Thank goodness, I have amazing benefits. Just like that I selected my time and checked in ten minutes early; easy peasy! They also have all paperwork and the insurances they accept sent to you via text. If you do this ahead of time, check in is so much quicker. Having a care provider prioritize your time is huge for me. I had a million other things to do. The care provider was thorough in her care and addressed all of my concerns. I appreciated the ladies that took care of me from check in to check out. My prescription was sent in and I picked it up an hour later. I look forward to them getting their DOT set up. I'll schedule to come here for that as well. Thanks for getting me back on track to get healthy again.

I have been dealing with ongoing GI symptoms since the 29th, which led me to seek care at urgent care and then the emergency room. After my ER visit, I was instructed to follow up with my primary care doctor. The soonest appointment they could give me was 14 days later, despite the fact that my symptoms have been persistent and concerning. Today, I received a call confirming my appointment -- only to be told that because I now have a cough and cold symptoms, they will not see me in the office. So after weeks of being sick, multiple visits elsewhere, and doing exactly what I was told to do, I am once again left without care. What is the purpose of having a primary care physician if they cannot evaluate ongoing illness or coordinate follow-up after an ER visit? At this point, I could have simply returned to urgent care and at least been seen by a provider with some level of bedside manner. This experience has felt dismissive, frustrating, and lacking compassion. When patients are already exhausted, scared, and not feeling well, they deserve guidance and continuity of care -- not barriers and cancellations. I expected far better from a primary care practice.

I have been extremely sick for 2 days and knew I had the flu, so I called my doctor's office to see…read moreif they could call in a prescription for tamaflu for me. They said they dont do that, I would have to come in, and my regular doctor didnt have any openings so I had to see doctor Dolan. Fine. I will have my husband drive me and my 2 toddlers, who are all also sick but not as bad as me, to the appointment (because I am too sick to drive and we dont have a sitter). So now we have 4 people sick with the flu in their waiting room. Sounds great so far, right? Way smarter than just calling in a prescription durning the middle of flu season, right? So the nurse calls me back, takes my vitals and swabs my nose for the flu virus. Fine, whatever. Then the doctor comes in and wants to know what I "want?". Kind of weird thing to ask, but I tell her I think I have the flu and I would like tamaflu. She tells me I don't have a fever and I let her know I am taking dayquil religiously every 4 hours because I am very sick and it helps a little with the fevers. Then she asks me how long I've had symptoms. I tell her and she says that's longer than 48 hours and they dont prescribe tamaflu after 48 hours. Mind you, we are now at about 50 hours. I asked her why not, since I have read many times that tamaflu helps even if you start taking it after 48 hours. Her answer was "it makes people nauseous". Ok, I think that if that's your only concern you should let the patient make that decision. So after that conversation, Dr. Dolan says "your flu results will be done in a couple minutes". I told her I didnt see the point in waiting on the flu results because they wouldn't prescribe me medication anyway. All of the sudden she says that I might be a special case because I take steroids for an autoimmune disease that makes me more susceptible to pneumonia. At this point I'm wondering what's wrong with this woman. She goes on and on about how she wont give me tamaflu because it's been close 50 hours and it makes people nauseous, then literally her next sentence is telling me I'm a special case and I need to be on tamaflu. Anyway, she leaves for the lab results and guess what, I have Flu type A. She gets my local pharmacy phone number to send over a prescription for tamaflu and I ask her for a prescription for cough medicine. She says they dont give prescriptions for that. Fine. Can you reccomend an over the counter cough medicine? "We reccomend a teaspoon of honey". I asked her to repeat herself because I was in disbelief. She repeated "a teaspoon of honey". Listen lady, I already know you are a nut, but if you think I am getting up every 3 minutes in the night with coughing fits to eat a teaspoon of honey, not only will I not get any sleep but I will have diabetes by morning. Anyway, we head over to the pharmacy to pick up the tamaflu I had to suffer mind games at the hands of a doctor to get, and guess what. They didnt send my prescription to the pharmacy I specifically asked them too and gave them the number for. NOPE. They submitted it to my mail order pharmacy. So the kind people at the pharmacy called my doctor and told them to send over the prescription and cancel the order with the mail order pharmacy because my insurance wouldn't cover both. Cool. Except now I have to wait another half hour for my prescription. We wait a half hour, go back up, and they tell us my doctor cant seem to cancel my mail order prescription and they wont be able to do anything for me until the mail order is canceled. At this point I'm exhausted so we just leave. As we get in the car to drive home my doctor's office calls to tell me what the pharmacy people already told me, that they sent the prescription to the wrong place and they were not able to fix it and I about lost my mind. They made a huge deal about how many hours I had been sick and didnt want to give me the medication, but then realized they should, but instead of sending it where they were supposed to, they sent it to mail order where it would take literally DAYS to fill. I told them to cancel all the orders since "hours" seem to make a huge difference in efficacy. They had already wasted at least 2 additional hours at this point and I didnt even have the medicine yet. I just needed to rest and the stress was making me feel even worse. Done, right? Nope, 2 hours later I get an email from the mail order pharmacy saying that my order will be delivered in 4 to 7 days. Thanks Dr. Dolan and thanks to her super incompetent staff, I guess i will just wait and see if i get pneumonia. Oh, also, the staff at the doctor's office was apparently supposed to have me put on a mask so I wouldn't spread the flu virus to others in the waiting room with my horrible cough, and they didnt. Doctor Dolan told me that after she came into the examination room. Bye bye Saint Mary's! If this flu doesnt kill me I will be seeking care at another practice.

Lucky for me, I was able to find a different PCP MUCH earlier (l saw them last week - a month earlier). So I decided to make a courtesy call to Katie Dolan's office to cancel my appt for June only to find out that they never had me scheduled and in fact Dr Dolan was going to take quite a bit of time off for several months around that same timeframe. The assistant who answered the call didn't know what to say. I told her 'THANK YOU VERY MUCH for making me feel better that I chose someone else to do business'. The YELP reviews speaks for itself. I was going to avoid them and just try her out but apparently they only speak the truth. Avoid this office with the plague. They obviously don't know anything about customer service.
