    0/4 patients being serviced while staff spends their time chatting in the hallway instead of taking walk-ins

    Don't bother coming here without an appointment. Wait times are wildly inaccurate - myself and another patient waited 4 hours, and were finally turned away at noon as the staff had lunch and they do not take walk-ins in the afternoon. Even when appointments are missed and no patients are being serviced, the remaining phlebotomists/staff would rather loudly talk amongst themselves and laugh in the hallway than service patients on the standby list. While I understand that appointments are given priority, it's frustrating to know that zero effort is given to accommodate patients on the standby list. Quest should remove the "walk-ins welcome" advertisement from their website so more people don't waste an entire morning and $28 on parking to receive no service.

    I had an appointment and even though they were backed up and had lots of walk-ins they still saw me and finished the blood test really quickly. It was a great experience!

    The person who took my blood was rude and incompetent. They broke my vain/bruised me badly, and took blood from a location that is in general more painful and easy to bruise than the typical one. She seemed to be miserable and want to make everyone she meets miserable too.

Tip: when asked on the Check In machine, only select 1 reason for the visit , not 2, otherwise your Check In will not be registered. I had to wait until a person arrived at the front desk to ask why I couldn't complete checking in, then suddenly, my phone # was in LINE on the monitor! When I was called back for my blood drawn, I told the staff, I also need to also leave an urine sample. This was when I learned the Check In software can only handle 1 reason for the visit. Because I selected 2 things that needed to be done, the software couldn't handle it and booted me off. Bottom line, the staff made a label for me and gave me a canister and instructions. So if you have more than just a blood draw, just select blood draw and tell the staff you have another thing you need to do.. Overall this visit was fast and easy, except for the snafu on Checking In without any staff assistance.

It would have been 3 hours of driving for me. I asked her to just keep the specimen and I would get the information. She would not do that either. Horrible service.

    When February of 2023 came around I had been attempting to get a mammogram at a different center…read morefor a few months. My primary doctor then referred me to the breast imaging center at MICSC and they fit me in promptly. Everyone I interacted with was very kind to me and made me feel comfortable. After the initial mammogram Dr. Iyengar was very frank with me that I need to come back immediately for a biopsy - so the center got me on the schedule for another appointment within 48 hours, and they rushed the results so I would know before the weekend. Again everyone was kind to me, and even matched my energy when I was cracking jokes during what was a very tense time. The day after the biopsy Dr. Iyengar called me to let me know that I had breast cancer and that they had gotten me an appointment at Saint John's with a team of oncologists for first thing Monday morning. (Who ended up being AMAZING). Everything is a bit of a blur but I do remember Dr. Iyengar encouraging me on the phone and telling me that I could get through this. I was able to come in the next day for an MRI (Saturday) and she went ahead and reviewed the results so that my doctors would have everything they needed on Monday. Because of my age (26 at the time), my insurance was dragging their feet to approve coverage for breast cancer screenings, so I did have to pay up front for my imaging (a sliding scale payment plan was offered to me - so there are options if needed). Once insurance approved coverage, it was a quick and easy phone call to get my refunds quickly processed. I'll forever be thankful to Dr. Iyengar and her fabulous team for springing into action to help catch my cancer early, and setting me up with my amazing doctors.

    Horrible experience. This office delayed my medical care due to their disorganization and lies! Do…read morenot believe a word these ppl say. They told me a pre-authorization wasn't needed. Come to find out it was, per my insurance, and I would have been on the hook for thousands of dollars out of pocket bc my insurance didn't approve the exam. Good thing I waited and rescheduled the appt to get clarification from my insurance. I rescheduled the appt and they tell me right before that they haven't received the authorization even though my insurance's deadline to approve or deny authorization was over a week ago. So now I have to reschedule again for the fourth time bc this office doesn't seem to know what they are doing (previous reschedules are bc they claim they didn't receive the referral from my doctors office and I had to call 5x to get this rectified).
