We said no and that I had cut my hand and it would not stop bleeding. They said that they would try to get me in but it could take up to an hour. After checking in, I was seen with 10 minutes. They got me cleaned up and got stitches all within about 30 minutes from the time I arrived. If you call before you leave they can usually get you in pretty fast.

I went to Zoom care who was fantastic and they handled the Workmen's Comp claim with total ease I never got a bill. However, LabCorp is absolute freaking trash when it comes to this. I have updated no less than five times the Workmen's Comp claim information in my own portal. I've also reached out to LabCorp via the only way to contact them on their website, at least four times. Guess how many responses I received? One. And that was after the third inquiry. And this is how they were helpful, they asked for "a workers compensation statement". What does that even mean? Is it just me saying yes this is a Workmen's Comp claim? Is it a billing statement? I don't know what this is supposed to mean! They are the most useless and unhelpful organization I have ever had to deal with. Whatever you do, do not use LabCorp whether you are a provider or a patient. Their service is absolute trash. Cliché, but if I could give them less than one star I would. I would give them -5 stars.

They do not mention it or tell you. They just scam you and tack it onto the bill for the actual care you received. If you call, you get a person who knows nothing and claims that no front desk person will ever know what to bill. It is a "new patient fee." If you escalate, they blame it on Medicare. If you let them know you are not using Medicare, then they blame it on the CRS rules. They must bill you $485 for being a new patient. It's such a blatant ripoff and it takes advantage of wounded or sick people. This place should be shut down for unethical billing. This is the reason you can get in quickly. Once burned, you never come back. They wait on the edge of their web for another unsuspecting person needing medical attention. Do not allow them to feed on your back account. When I arrived no one was in reception so I waited a few minutes and then politely called out "hello". A loud aggressive voice came out from the back telling me to sit and they'll be out. I provided my ID and papers and the guy interrogated me over my real id as they didn't believe it was current? I took my wedding rings off when washing my hands as I always do and the guy demanded I put them in my purse for the test? Mocking me that I would just be taking them off again after the test? I was given a pretty large cup for the test, I'm 44 and never seen a test cup that large. I went and did my thing and came out and handed him the cup. As it was on the counter and he was checking the temperature he tells me there is not enough? What? If there wasn't enough why on earth are you checking the temperature and checking the toilet? And I have done your job sir, there was more than enough. He told me I could redo the test in 3 hours but that I couldn't leave and couldn't make any phone calls because they don't allow calls! Dude, I gotta go to work. I gotta be able to communicate with current employer and future employer about what was going on I can't just stay somewhere 3 hours. I ended up leaving. I want to know why was there no other employees? Why was there no female available? The employee was unnecessarily aggressive for zero reason.

It only took one appointment at Salem Health and Dr. Card and I was diagnosed on the spot with a prescription for treatment within an hour! Dr. Henry is amazing and currently works with both my husband and I. She is stright forward about things and has a kind way about her. She is quick to reply on mychart and place orders and is very knowledgeable. There have been times under her care in wich we needed to outsourse to a separate clinic and the transition has always been smooth. The office itself is close to my house and the front desk and security staff are super nice and helpful!!

Let's start with the constant shuffling I received between doctors, with at least one leaving for greener pastures. I finally wound up with Dr. Tomes, but within a few months of being under her care, she cancelled my insulin shots. Without notifying me first. Her explanation, when I finally got ahold of her, was that she thought I'd do better on Metformin. Except before that conversation, she didn't write me a prescription for it. Things only went down hill from there. Getting anyone on the phone is a twenty-five minute process, with unhelpful and untrained receptionists who contradict one another. Case in point: I made the mistake (putting the cart before the horse, as I needed to first find another provider) of trying to leave the clinic after suffering a heart attack, as my doctor had put me on no medications for clogged arteries and had been MIA for a year + before the incident (don't expect them to reach out to you, rather make appointments yourself, as I should have done). No statins, no anything. Well, I wound up with several meds from the hospital that they refuse to refill, and I have yet to get a straight answer as to their reasonong. The phone receptionist told me I had to come in before I could leave their "care". I soon learned there are no open clinics in Salem, and tried again to refill my prescriptions through their pharmacy. The next person I spoke to on the phone told me they couldn't help me with more than two of them, before finally telling me that her notes showed I'd already quit the clinic. That was news to me, and to Pacific Source, who've confirmed they are still getting billed by West Salem Clinic. This is what led me to writing my first ever Yelp review. I truly hope if you've already signed up with these people that your experiences are better than mine have been. If you're still shopping around, I commiserate with your arduous search, but I wouldn't recommend this place, especially Dr. Tomes.
