I'm knocking off one star only because the chairs aren't the most comfortable, but I believe this is the same across all Quest locations. This facility doesn't do glucose testing; I needed one to test for gestational diabetes, so I had to go to West Sac, which had the same small, uncomfortable chairs. Except I had to sit there for 3 hours. The great thing about this Quest is that they are FAST. I go straight to the kiosk, punch in my phone number, and I'm checked in within 20 seconds. No need to talk to anyone, until they call me up to ask to see my insurance card. Then I'm usually taken back within 5 minutes or less from my arrival. I'm a very hard stick. In one sitting, I've been poked about 4 times in both inside elbows and back of the hands. That's how tough it is. But these phlebotomists are relatively quick and painless despite the challenge my veins give them. The one time I was visibly sweating and pale, the girl asked if I was okay. She was genuinely concerned, so I had to assure her that she was doing a great job; I'm just in the middle of my third trimester and experiencing hot flashes, nothing wrong with what she was doing. read more

Registration by kiosk, one kiosk broken down, wait list not working. People at front desk seem confused and disorganized. They need more than one computer at the front desk so both people can be productive. Lab technicians are great. read more

Come in after 12pm but I usually go after 2. No lines. No wait. I usually get in and out under 10minutes. Staff are friendly. What I LOVE about this place is they have a waiting room for glucose testing!!! Lounge chair and tv whaaaat?! The other facilities I've been to does not have this! Beats waiting in the lobby! read more

Do not call this number on file. (877-537-8368). It takes you to a a person (from India) asking your credit card number. They ask your name, address, phone number. They'll try to get you to give them your credit card number. I tried to notify Yelp but there's no link. Be aware of these scammers read more

DO NOT COME TO THIS QUEST!! I came to this location since it's the one closest to my house. Never again! I sign in as a walk-in and take a seat. Within a couple of minutes I see that the name is taken off the list. So, I asked one of the staff there as to why I was taken off and was it because I was a walk-in? And all she said was, "Let me check with the person who took you off." Like what the actually f&%#! I've been to many Quest and have never been told that or taken off the list. I understand if they are appointment based only but at least posted it somewhere or stated to the people instead of pulling excuses out of your ass like "they're working on your order," which they didn't even ask for any information. And then after asking a couple of times what's going on. Then they pull this one from their intestine by saying, "You were placed on our waitlist." Like what?!! So you mean to say I've waited almost an hour to hear this shit. Like at least say we don't have time for walk-ins so I can look elsewhere. But according to their website this location walk-in wait is about 5 minutes so I don't understand why they were being such anals about it. So just warning you guys on how disrespectful they are here. read more

I had an appt for 11:30 AM but I didn't get called in until 11:45. However, there seemed to be a problem with the paperwork so I stepped out to make a call to my doctor's office which took about two minutes as I got through almost immediately. I then took a seat and waited in the lobby as the employee who was helping me before said she would call me back in after 10 minutes. I waited and waited and waited but was never called even after almost 30 minutes and when I asked another employee, she told me if there was a problem with my paperwork and I got it fixed, I was supposed to tell them and then they would call me back in even after I explained what the other person had said to me. She then said she would check for me after she finished up with her current patient. I then waited and waited again. More than an hour has passed since my appt time. Nothing. I wouldn't have minded being delayed because of how busy it was or because there was a problem outside of my or their control but their customer service clearly needs a lot of work. read more

Thanks for taking so long to process COVID tests. Your incredibly pathetic. It's been over ten days now and counting...

Bad service ever, rude staff, make us waiting 3 hours, didn't draw blood even. No star for this location.

I have only had bad experiences with quest. I went to a different quest and they told me that they don't do blood work. Then we came to this one. It was extremely unorganized and took forever. They make everyone wear masks and social distance. which is fine, but they don't let anyone wait outside, so the hypocrisy of having 35 people in a 300sqft room is ridiculous. Also they only have 4 chairs, so everyone waiting stands for over an hour before getting called. Then the lady at the desk is extremely rude and yells rudely at patients when it is their turn. To make it even worse they have this terrible audio on full volume giving everyone a headache explaining that if you are deaf or blind you should ask for assistance. Imagine an AUDIO telling a deaf person what to do. The last thing I will say is that on the phone they claim to accept walk-ins and then when you arrive, they actually don't accept walk-ins unless you come early in the morning. Anyways I would just avoid this place. Terrible system and terrible service all around. read more

It doesn't matter if you have a scheduled appointment, you'll be waiting at least half an hour. Masks are required but they don't have any in the lobby and no person to talk to. Someone sat there holding a napkin over her face for 10 minutes before someone came out. The verbal and written instructions for specimen collection do not match. It's impossible to deliver a time-sensitive specimen within the timeframe they give you because no one is coming to the door and you'll be waiting in the lobby for over 15 minutes, on top of however long it took to drive there and check in at the kiosk. read more

This is crazy been here since 8:20 am it is now 9:52 and I still have at least another 30 minutes wait!! They must need more people!!! Even the people who go back come Out long time after!!! This just unreal! Over 2 hours to get blood tested? read more

Absolutely the WORST customer service. I've never experienced something this bad. I will be using LabCorp from here on out. I showed up at 230 when the business loses at 4. Checked in through the kiosk and was told I'd get a text in about 21 mins. I waited right outside the door. By 315 I asked one of the ladies if my draw was coming up. She than told me that they would not have time to do it. I than left frustrated, got about 5 mins away and received a text saying return to the PSC for your draw. I turn around go in and wait for somebody. When she finally comes out, her response was "oh that's wrong it's supposed to say we don't have time to see you" I will never come back here again, and as someone that has to have bloods done every 3 months, I hope you can learn from my experience. LabCorp all the way!!! Avoid this Quest like the plague read more

Scheduled an appointment for 1pm, arrived at 12:40pm and was called back at 12:45pm. The woman who drew my blood and the trainee that was shadowing her were super helpful. I got nauseous during the process and they put cold towels on my forehead and neck, brought water and even something in case I threw up. They were so nice and kept talking to me to ease my mind. I thanked them about a billion times before leaving but I wanted to let everyone know how helpful they were. read more

The phlebotomist was very rough with me yesterday. I never had a blood draw hurt this bad. When she put the needle in she jabbed me hard. I'm left with this nasty bruise. I've never been bruised on a blood draw before. I would stay away from this location. I've been going to Quest for years and never been handled so roughly... very unprofessional and dangerous!!! read more

Quest Diagnostics - The Phlebotomist was very rough and bruised me. - Laboratory Testing Near Me - Sacramento, California

Overly crowded .I tried to confirm an appointment on line and now it says I dont have one.

The people at the front desk are so rude and works real slow. Kind of reminds me of the DMV lol.

Quest is offering early morning visits for at risk patients. Unfortunately there is s very long line at 7:00 a.m. at Arena blvd, and the wait is outside. We decided to go to Auburn Blvd Quest as there is an indoor waiting area. We drove over to Auburn Blvd and were in ab out in 20 minutes. So consider Auburn Blvd. read more

I came to this diagnostic quest located in arena blvd. Sacramento for my lab works this morning . The screener with a short hair open the door was so rude. She asked if i had an appointment. I am about to open my phone to show my appointment but she suddenly swing her hands and dropped my phone, not even saying sorry ,sustaining cracked on the side of my phone. And this lady have gloves on touching everywhere. I don't know if she's protecting herself or spreading the germs.I am looking on her badge but there is no name on it. read more

I don't know if this company/ location has customer service or patient dignity standards. On this day, I arrived 20 minutes late, asked personnel, after acknowledging I was late, if they could still take me. 5 minutes goes by. A spiky haired person comes out and shouts someone's name who isn't there. Then shouts mine. They walk over to me in the middle of the waiting room. And says in just as loud a voice for all to hear; "did you know your appointment was at this time? And now we're in this hour" and motions big like their arm was a clock hand eyeing me sideways. "So I need to reschedule?" I gather is the takeaway. They nod yes with the one eye still toward me. They could've just said I need to reschedule but chose violence. I had been to this location a time before, arrived 10 minutes early, and waited until 40 minutes after my scheduled time to be seen. So how dare I even ask if I might be able to be seen 20 minutes late in the midst of no shows and them running behind. My apologies to the patronizing stegasaurus. This was not my first bad experience at Quest, or this Quest location. I'm happy to never step foot in a Quest again. I'm sure there are some humane people working there. I just don't feel safe with dinosaurs running the show. read more

I did not have an appointment so I expected to wait and I'm ok with that. What I'm not ok with is having them pull all the staff except one into a meeting when there are 17 people in the waiting room. Not cool and not ok. BAD management !!! read more

They're great. I always make my appt 130-2pm. I walk in 5 min before my appt. Hardly anyone is there and always taken within 10min. In and out in 20. Min. I wish i could call them. The 877 no is for the Corp office. Call ctr oversees with the accent from hell. Worthless to get info i need. Wanted to know when seniors can go early. I couldn't remember what time I thought they said 7am. First appt wasn't a till 11am. Staff is great read more

Great service even during COVID. I didn't have an appointment and walked in for a time sensitive lab and the staff were quick to get me in. Even when I had to go back and forth with my doctor's office because they didn't send over the lab request. They were able to get me in and draw my blood. read more

Horrible slow staff!!! Just taking everything easy and make patients wait for hours!!!!!!!!!!

My review is about Mohammed specifically but I have actually had three peopke draw my blood here with great results. This is actually saying something considering I am what the call a hard stick. I have been poked threw times before, had ultrasound machines used and I always dread getting my blood drawn. Mohammed was the most recent and he mentioned he had been trained by the person who had drawn my blood before that (I feel terrible for not catching her name but she was just as good and so was the person before her). He said he guaranteed I would not get a bruise. I doubted this especially since I was recently out of hospital and ER and had multiple bruises from re ent blood draws but I will be darned if there wasnt even the slightest hint of a bruise even today when this was on Tuesday. I really appreciate the care he took and will be asking for him next time. Yes sometimes the waits here can be long but if you make an appointment you won't have a problem. Plan ahead people! read more
