The monitor that reads "a message for the blind and visually impaired. If you cannot read this please let a staff member know." (Seriously?) No braille, no text-to-speech option, no tactical or auditory anything to let someone know there is a sign with maybe something important. Seeing eye dogs are smart, but they cannot read signs or sign in on your tablet. Perhaps you could add an ADA feature to your app to make up for your embarrassing public "opps". read more

Great care provided by Angel. Thank you for making me feel so very welcome and taking care of things so quickly. I'm not going any place else for blood tests. read more

This place is a dump. The floors and walls are stained and dirty, the waiting room feels like a disaster zone (especially for a place where you get blood drawn!). The store front has peeled letters and looks abandoned. I had to take a newborn there and they didn't even have the necessary supplies to perform the test we needed (you need different supplies than for an adult blood draw). The attendant literally told me sorry, she couldn't do the test, after I had waited. With the way that place felt, my wife and I were just as happy to leave. read more

Extremely slow. Running a solid half hour, or more, late. People who were late for their appointments jumped the line when they arrived, despite it being my appointment time already. Appointments mean very little here. They do not respect your time. read more

Had to take my first real blood test here today and was super scared! Saw some bad reviews which made me even more nervous but I made my appointment online just the evening before and it was super easy and they called me in right on time! The woman doing the test was super kind and talked me through it the whole time when I told her I was really nervous and another nurse even came in to crack a little joke with us. Really nice people, would highly recommend! read more

I went in without an appointment around 8:45 AM for blood tests as part of my yearly physical. I parked at the lot next to Squirrel Hill Chiropractic, which is free for Quest patients. When you arrive, you electronically sign in and then have a seat. An abbreviated version of your name and estimated wait time is then shown on the screen in the waiting room. The time was not at all accurate-3 minutes then 9 minutes as someone called my name to take me back. It wasn't a problem for me as there was only one other person waiting and I wasn't in a hurry, but I see where this could be obnoxious. My tech was friendly and professional, and she made sure to advise me about care after the blood draw. (I was wearing gym clothes and considering when to try to work out, but was advised to see how I felt after eating and definitely wait 24 hours before weight lifting). It was fairly painless, which is always a pleasant surprise. I was in and out in under 10 minutes, but that could vary based on when you come in. Appointments are available online as well if I you're trying to save time as well. read more

I have an unpleasant experience absolutely every time I am forced to have testing done at this facility. I would go miles out of my way to avoid it, but that's not always possible. You squeeze into the noisy, ugly, claustrophobic waiting room, you sign in on a screen, and then you wait without any idea how long it's likely to be. You get the attention of staff when they unlock the clinic door to let someone back, you ask for help signing in, and they snap at you. Ask how long the wait to drop a sample off is, and they snap at you. When someone finally agrees to help you, they send you off with a lecture about the virtue of patience. I have no doubt that the employees themselves consider their work environment to be toxic and nasty even while they're all actively contributing to that culture, and I have no idea how this company stays in business, but I never use them if I can help it. read more

Close to my house. Little to no wait every time I've been there. Courteous and friendly at front desk and while getting blood taken. Phlebotomist (?) was skilled and made it quick and painless - believe me I've had my fair share of people who have treated me like a pincushion. Facility is clean and well kept. What else can I say about a blood lab? read more

Personnel gave misleading and incorrect information regarding instructions for specimen drop-off. When returned, was told by other personnel that there was a different procedure to be followed. After signing in, the digital screen displayed that my wait time was 38 minutes. Left the office and returned 27 minutes later, only to find the office closed, a couple of minutes before closing time. Personnel also gave incorrect information on office hours and days when open. My conclusion is that personnel was either not attentive, not aware, or did not care. read more

I was greeted promptly and the tech I worked with was very kind. I had blood work done for a routine physical and I was in and out very quickly! The location was also very clean. I will be back for any future lab work needs. read more

I have had two experiences with this clinic for blood draws in the past few years and both were the same. Walked in without an appointment did the digital check in and was in a chair getting blood drawn in under 5 minutes. The facility was clean and comfortable while I waited. The thing I appreciate most is that the blood draw itself was quick and easy. I usually go through a lot of pain with this as the nurse tries multiple times to get my vein and after failing several times in each arm goes for the hand. Hand sticks hurt. Going forward I will go to Quest for blood draws whenever possible. read more

I don't often leave reviews but I am very frustrated with this place. It is very conveniently located for me, and would be very easy for them to keep their space clean and their staff better trained in customer service, however they continue to be severely lacking in these areas. My past two visits have both been unpleasant in their own ways. The first visit, I arrived 10 minutes before closing, to hear someone shout from the back, "Are you kidding me?!" She had an attitude the entire time she rushed through assisting me, which made me very uncomfortable, as she mumbled under her breath, moved abruptly, and spoke tersely to me. Two more people arrived while she was assisting me and she became more agitated with each. I'm already uncomfortable having blood drawn and this made it much worse. On my second visit, the woman working was much more pleasant at first, but I was very surprised that as she wrapped up my blood work, she answered a call on her cell phone, and tossed a urine sample cup in my lab and stabbed a finger across the hallway at the restroom then turned around to continue her call. When I returned to her room a few moments later, there was already another person in her chair, sitting next to my purse, phone, and jacket which I had left behind in the room. He and I were both visibly uncomfortable as I gathered up my belongings from around him and the woman working shouted, "Have a nice day!" over her shoulder. On both visits, the waiting room was dirty and poorly lit, with a large carpet stain near check-in and big sloppy pile of napkins on the center table for some reason. The bathroom garbage was overflowing and the paper towel dispenser was broken and hanging open. In the blood work room, the garbage was overflowing, with some tissues and a rubber glove on the floor around it. This would be unpleasant anywhere, but is especially unpleasant and even concerning in an establishment offering medical services. Needless to say, I will not be returning. read more

I made an appointment online. I was taken back a few minutes early and the man who took my blood was very nice and pleasant. Also there is free parking across the street. Four stars instead of five because you can never get through to them on the phone. read more

First they said they didn't have my prescription for blood work, and sent me back to the waiting room. I called my doctor angry and asked why they had not faxed it, they said they had. I signed my name and sat and waited again. When it was my turn again, I explained that my doctor had faxed it. The first woman heard me from down the hall and decided to yell at me from the far end of the hall that they had not received it. The other woman looked and found it on the fax machine. To be fair, I don't know if they re-faxed it or just missed it. I'm now in the procedure room. I was asked for insurance and gave them my card along with a specific card that was for blood work at Quest (It said Quest Diagnostic on the card). She said this wasn't the right card and took my insurance card instead and said I was not covered. I asked how much the test would cost and she looked at me like I was crazy to think that they would this information. She said there were thousand of test and they did not have a price for my cholesterol test. I said there are thousand of items at a supermarket and they all have prices. Then asked if she would go out to dinner and choose a meal without without knowing the prices? This didn't go over well. She said I wasn't covered and that I should go to LabCorp. I was given a printout of LabCorp locations and I left. The closest LabCorp was Monroeville, but before I drove out there, I called my wife, she said we were covered for Quest. I was halfway down the street, I walked back and sat in the waiting room and called Quest's main headquarter. This took a while, but I ended up talking to a woman that said I was covered and she attempted to call the office to explain. I could hear the phone ring and ring as I sat in the waiting room on hold. A few minutes later a woman came out, I grabbed her attention and I told her that Quest was trying to call them to explain my coverage. She said, "Oh, I guess that's the phone that's ringing". I signed again and waited. This time I got another person, not the first on that yelled to me from down the hall, and not the second one that said my insurance didn't cover the test. This woman I think was a manager, she was knowledgeable and knew right away that I was covered for the test. I think the lack of professionalism was appalling and I don't recommend this Quest unless your dealing with the manager. read more

Don't bother coming here without an appointment. Many elderly folks come here for blood work and it is never fast. The technicians are good, but they sometimes only emerge from their den on the quarter hours, apparently so that they don't have to deal with walk in clients. I have been here for 30 minutes and they have chatted with one confused elderly non-client and drawn blood from 2 people with appointments. Really irritating. read more

I would not recommend this place to anyone. You have to electronically sign in at the entrance and then a waiting list appears on the screen that's VERY inaccurate with wait times. They said that it they were short a person and only 2 of 3 were here today. After spending close to 2 hours, 1 of the 2 working literally walked out and left 1 person working. If you don't schedule an appointment, seriously do anything else, you will not regret it. read more

Don't bother making an appointment because it's highly likely that they'll skip you and go with the person on top of the list who either doesn't have an appointment or if he/she does it's after you NOT before. This has happened to me twice in a row and both times I've got there 5 minutes before my appointment time. This makes me wonder why I even bother making an appointment. There are two columns on their sign up sheet that are supposed to be checked by the patients. One is for those who have an appointment and the other for those who don't. The technicians don't even look at these columns. So I don't know why they have this system in place....Today after I was skipped once more, I ended up being late for work. Thanks for the technicians who don't pay attention to the sign up sheet. UGH read more

I had a really good experience here. I had made an appointment online (which I recommend) for early morning. I arrived, signed in and was taken back almost immediately. I tend to get a bit queasy when having lab work done but the woman who helped me was very kind and patient and made the whole process quick and painless. read more
