Upon arrival, a blonde female staff member asked if I was there for a nurse drop-off. I explained that I was with Getlabs completing a Quest drop-off for one patient with three separate specimen bags. All specimens had already been processed, and each bag contained detailed information identifying what was included. The staff member appeared frustrated and repeatedly went back and forth to the back room, sighing and stating that she did not know what I was giving her and that this was a new process. She later returned with stickers and questioned why I had not been provided stickers to identify the specimen bags. I explained that I had not been provided those stickers and showed her that each bag had been appropriately marked for collection and storage. Photos of the specimens and documentation were also uploaded to the patient's appointment in the Care app. What concerned me further was the way patients were being addressed during this interaction. Several patients were having difficulty with the kiosk, and the staff member responded impatiently, telling them that she was already helping someone and that they needed to wait. A gentleman who appeared to have a language barrier politely asked for assistance with the sign-in process. The staff member responded, "What do you not understand? It's in your language," before walking around the counter to assist him. She then walked away visibly frustrated, sighing loudly, and went into the back area to discuss the interaction with another staff member. I was unable to obtain the employees' names because both staff members were very brief in their interactions and repeatedly returned to the back area as the waiting room became busier. I understand that there may be new or unfamiliar procedures surrounding Getlabs specimen drop-offs, and I am always willing to provide clarification or follow any additional requirements. However, I felt the communication, professionalism, and customer service displayed during this encounter were inappropriate, particularly the manner in which patients who needed assistance were addressed.

I understand appointments go first, but the pace was unbelievably slow -- in almost two hours only a handful of people were taken back. It honestly makes you wonder how understaffed this location must be. There were people who had been waiting even longer than me and were still there when I finally left. I even tried booking an appointment a week in advance and couldn't get a morning slot, so walking in was my only option. Now I've lost an entire month trying to get essential lab work done. To make matters worse, the waiting room was uncomfortable in every way -- overcrowded, stuffy, poor ventilation, and frankly tough to sit through for hours. Expecting people to wait 3-4 hours in those conditions is unreasonable. LabCorp needs more staff, better scheduling, and a serious upgrade in patient flow (and maybe some airflow too). This experience was exhausting and unacceptable. Patients deserve better.

On 4/21/26 I arrived and signed in at 10:30 am with perhaps 20 people waiting with no open seats. I waited outside and checked patient progress on the status board. At about 11:20 I went inside and my name was called. I went into the 3 desk check-in area and a nice pregnant nurse Diana started to check me in. She was stopped by the office manager woman who said it was another David who had been called. I looked at the property owner map on the wall c. 1890 to find my family home in Cheltenham as I had done in the past and the manager told me to leave. I refused as I was not blocking any new sign-ins and she threatened to call the Abington Police- who came and I explained the situation to them and her unfriendly racist behavior towards me. They videotaped my conversations with them and made no charges against me. I was told that many Labcorp workers have quit and they are understaffed. All seven blood taking rooms were filled with only Diana taking blood, no one at the 3 check-in desks when I was called by phone text at 12:22 pm. I left at 12:40. Suggest the office manager take training in customer service and hire more Phlebotomists. Appointments should be by scheduling, no walk ins. Diana should be commended on her professionalism and caring.

They newly require Masks (never had to use this prior to my last two visits). Not a big deal, but they never have any available, so if you forget it, you have to go back out and find one before they will even check you in. I completed the appointment sign up (they do walk ins) online as well as checked in, and they still asked me to do the process when I arrived the last two times. The young girl at the counter is short with clients, and it seems like she wants to do the least amount of work to help you. The saving grace of this place is that it's a convenient location right off of the Roosevelt Blvd, and the phlebotomist who takes the blood is at least very polite and efficient.
