    I am very needle phobic. My daughter is worse. She's 9. We had to go for some blood work and needless to say she was not happy and very scared. I asked for someone who was good with children. The woman at the desk assured me everyone was. A gentleman called us in. He could tell right away he would need help. He called someone else. The two of them worked together to draw my daughter's blood with one stick and quickly. Kudos to them for doing such a great job! Kudos to the gentleman who knew he needed reinforcements!

    Well, well, well. Didn't want to start the new year with a bad review seeing how my appointment was 30 days ago. But seeing how the last review of this location is pretty much on point to what happened to me back in December 2020, and thanks to Britt Z's 5 star review (unheard-of) of a Quest in Boca, I felt it necessary to put in my two cents for this location. So management if you are reading, jot our complaints down, get together with your team, fix the issues pronto. These long waits when people have made appointments online is unacceptable. But before going into the negative, I do have to point out that the lady technician that did my test, was professional and friendly so she was good. But I cannot give more than 1 star for the lack of organization at this place. The day I went, my appmt was at 10:30am. I arrived early at 10am. I saw the long line and saw a young guy taking people's info. I approached and told him I made an appmt and showed him the text I had received. He said I needed to give my phone number and that they would call me when it was my time. Some other guy was complaining already in the line so I asked well, how long is the wait? He said we are taking the 9:15am appmt next. This was at 10am. By this time you could tell he was not a happy camper. It was a chilly morning, some people looked visibly cold, some understandably were asking questions, while others were complaining. There was tension in the air. Mind you, we are still in times of covid, people mostly were wearing masks, but people were too close to each other. I stayed in line because no one else told us differently. We couldn't wait inside due to covid limitations. About 20 mins later we were told to back up or to go to our cars. No one moved. I didn't either fearing I'd lose my place in line since they weren't going by our online appmts and I had my doubts that they would call me. You know what I'm talking about if you've been in that situation. You stand in line, give your info, step out of line and boom, you don't get called. Yep that can happen, so for that reason I wasn't moving. Until of course a lab technician with apparently more authority than the poor guy at the front (I did feel bad, since he was taking the brunt of the complaints), came out and told us that due to covid no one could be standing there and that we should all go back to our cars and wait. And that we would be called. Well, I asked why the back up? She said the system was down. Hmmm, so was the system down for all the other reviews on different days? I mean, if that is really the case, then you need to spend some big bucks on a new system. Luckily, I could afford to wait but there were people that had to go back to work. So, if you are thinking of going back to work and coming back when they call you, you're out of luck. That's not how this works. When they call you, you better be ready, they won't wait 15-20 mins for you. You have to wait 45 mins to over an hour for them. That's how this works. Take it our leave it. And so I waited...and as 11:30 am approached, I received a call saying I was next. Woohoo an hour wait! Thank goodness I had an appointment. Oh but wait, I had to wait another 15 mins inside. Note to self: stop complaining, what's an extra 15 mins, right? Tell that to technician that told the guy that had to go back to work that they wouldn't wait 15 mins for him when they'd call him. Wait for the reaction. Not funny. Just see unhappy camper taking people's info. If only blood or urine tests would change with people's moods. They'd be doing a s..t load of retests.     Appointments must be made 120 days in advance, they don't take walk ins even when the waiting room is empty.

    I checked in on time for my scheduled appointment. I left after 40 minutes without being seen or spoken to. The staff just can't cope.

We made it absolutely clear that this was urgent. By Friday morning, we followed up again and stressed that we needed the report immediately to proceed with a critical orthopedic appointment. We were told the request had been submitted and that it would be handled. That turned out to be empty reassurance. As of now, there is still no report. No urgency, no communication, no accountability. Meanwhile, my daughter is in pain, and we are left worrying about improper healing and long-term damage because of this delay. This is not just "bad service." When a diagnostic center delays results in an urgent case like this, they are actively putting patients at risk. In this case, a child. What makes it worse is the complete lack of follow-through. Once payment is taken, it feels like the responsibility ends there. No one takes ownership, and no one seems to care about the consequences. If your situation is even slightly urgent, do not rely on this place. You may end up paying the price in ways that actually matter, your health.

I made an appointment for a Friday because I needed several tests for my new physician job. When I showed up for the appointment, they said they couldn't provide all of the services since it included a drug screening test, which they do not offer on Fridays or Mondays. They gave me the option of going to a different LabCorp that was 45 minutes away, where I could walk in without an appointment. I decided instead to go home and schedule for Tuesday, which was the last day to meet the deadline for my new job. The front desk also told me I could show up at 9:00 a.m. Since I prefer to be early--and because I was fasting just in case--I arrived at 8:17 a.m. The front desk told me my check-in was invalid because drug screening services start at 9:00 a.m., and I would have to check in again at that time. So, I went back to my car and waited 40 minutes before checking in again at the kiosk. After I checked in at 9:00 a.m., I was called five minutes later and asked to email my employer's paperwork with prepaid barcodes to a very long and difficult email address with random alphanumeric characters--making it very easy to mistype. I was finally called at 10:00 a.m. and began the urine drug screening. After completing that service, the staff told me I could leave, but I reminded them that I still had two additional blood tests pending. They said this was handled by a different department, even though it was in the same location with the same personnel. I was asked to wait in the lobby and check in again for the other services. After waiting another 15 minutes, I was called to the front desk and told I had an outstanding balance of $180 from three years ago. Because of this, they said they could not provide further services--even though they had already taken my urine sample. It turns out they mistakenly linked my name to another person's account with the same name, who lives about 200 miles away. The address they had on file was one I had never seen before. I have never used LabCorp before. As a veteran, I receive all of my medical services through the VA. Despite this, they told me I would need to resolve the billing issue before receiving any additional services. I was therefore left with only one-third of the required testing completed, an unexplained bill, and disqualified from my new job because that day was my final deadline. I also noticed that several patients were waiting in their cars for a text message that never came. After one or two hours, they had to come inside to ask about their appointments. The office had a monitor showing the check-in status of patients, but the names on the screen did not match the actual patients waiting, leading to further complaints. There were also language barriers between employees and patients, and even among employees themselves. HIPAA regulations may have been violated at this location. As a physician, I would never send any of my patients here. I have been to Quest Diagnostics before, and their service is far superior to what I experienced at this LabCorp.

The phlebotomist was incredibly kind, quick, and efficient. The entire staff was all smiles, everything was easy and smooth, and I am full of gratitude!!!!! Thank you!

I don't think they allow you to visit anymore unless you have an appointment which you can make on their website fairly easily. If you do the guest version of this to make an appointment (aka you don't have an account), make sure to make note of when your appointment is or the confirmation code because I didn't receive any reminders of my appointment until the morning of. I didn't know they had appointments as early as 6am which is very convenient because I know before, it was so hard to get an appointment at this location and the line to wait would be so long. I made my appointment for 6:30am and came right on time. They send you a text message with a link you can use to check-in on. Once I checked in, I walked inside and the waiting area was clean with a good amount of seating. They renovated it since the last time I was here so it is pretty much no contact with anyone until it's time for your testing. They have kiosks you can also check in on. Once I was inside, I saw my name on the screen and was called within 2 minutes. Got my tests done within 5 minutes and was out in less than 10! Great location!

I scheduled my appointment through the MyQuest app, and checked-in through the link that was texted to me on my phone. I've always been a bit nervous about this location, because since it's in Hialeah, I wondered if any of the service providers would speak English. Upon my arrival, there were only about three other people waiting in the waiting room. Within about 5 minutes of checking in, Rita enthusiastically welcomed me in for my appointment in English. Her politeness put me at ease. The facility, including the bathroom, was clean, and the bloodwork was done quickly and efficiently. I would definitely come back to do lab work here again. The icing on top is there's a Vicky bakery next door, so you can reward yourself with a pastelito and cafecito after your appointment.

When I walked into the office, the first thing that I noticed was the cleanliness of the office. It smelled great and you could tell that it was recently cleaned and sanitized. Exactly what I want to see when I am going to the doctor. The staff was friendly and helped me right away. I scheduled my appointment at 8:45 in the morning and I had my first meeting for work at 10. At first I was concerned if I was going to make it in time however, everythng was smooth. I filled out my paperwork since it is January and I was able to provide my digital insurance card via email. I sat and waited for less than 5 mins before a nurse came and brought me in. She was very professional and kind and she took my vitals and asked me some questions and then gave me the robe to change into. I changed and sat down and witin 3 mins Dr. Jenny was with me. Full disclaimer I had not gone to see her since before the pandemic. I instantly felt comfotable and welcomed when I got in. She is always professional and kind and makes me feel super comfortable. I got everything checked out and taken care of and I was out of the office and in my car by 9:35. My appointment was efficient and professional and I look foward to having Jenny as my doctor for years to come. I highly would recommend going to see her.
