I had a great visit to this Quest Diagnostics location. I'd been wanting to check it out for a while because the location is very convenient for me, but usually they don't have any apps available. Fortunately, today was my lucky day. I scheduled my appointment through the MyQuest app, and checked-in through the link that was texted to me on my phone. I've always been a bit nervous about this location, because since it's in Hialeah, I wondered if any of the service providers would speak English. Upon my arrival, there were only about three other people waiting in the waiting room. Within about 5 minutes of checking in, Rita enthusiastically welcomed me in for my appointment in English. Her politeness put me at ease. The facility, including the bathroom, was clean, and the bloodwork was done quickly and efficiently. I would definitely come back to do lab work here again. The icing on top is there's a Vicky bakery next door, so you can reward yourself with a pastelito and cafecito after your appointment. read more

I previously visited this location with an appointment and had to leave because after an hour of waiting, they hadn't called me in. I show up today as a walk in, checked in, there wasn't anyone in the waiting area, and 2 employees came out to tell me there was no guarantee they'd see me because if the scheduled appointments showed up, that's their priority and can't see any more patients after their cutoff time. Staff in this location clearly doesn't want to do the job they're getting paid for. read more

I had a really disappointing experience at this Quest Diagnostics location. The day before, my visit went smoothly and I was given a container and told to return the next morning to drop off a specimen. I was specifically told that I could just walk in. When I came back, I checked in, and a staff member announced that they weren't taking any walk-ins. Several people were left confused. She explained how to make an appointment online. When she was done, I politely asked if I could ask a quick question since I was only dropping something off. She cut me off and said she wasn't taking any questions and walked away. That felt dismissive and disrespectful. I was simply following the instructions your own staff had given me. I hope management addresses both the inconsistent instructions and the way patients are spoken to. read more

I went in for a pregnancy blood test. I called before hand to make sure I had everything I needed. After waiting 3 hours, the nurse or doctor with a black pixie cut and glasses informed us we weren't able to get tested with out a referral from a doctor. She said " compras el test en la esquina y despues vuelve para hacer el test ". Was not informative or helpful and at all. I would not recommend this place. This Quest is amazing! I always come without an appointment and they always attend me within 30 minutes. Great phlebotomist too they always get the vein right away first try! Also this location is very clean and staff is very friendly. No complaints!!! read more

Go to a different Quest location if you can! I had an appointment and checked in 10 minutes early. I kept going inside periodically to check the status, and after about an hour of waiting, I noticed my name was no longer on the list. I ended up going to another Quest location, which luckily had availability, and I was in and out within 15 minutes. I've been going to Quest for over 10 years and have never experienced such a long wait or an issue like this before. read more

It is ridiculous that one has to wait more than an hour on a stand by list or have to make an appointment just to drop a sample. If I least they notify you before I can understand. The way I see it, is that Quest Diagnostic will lose many patients everyday. Next time I will go to Labcorp, for sure much niecer experience. read more

I've been to this location twice now for blood work. I had a good experience the first time. I had a gentleman draw my blood and he had an incredible bedside manner. I hate getting my blood drawn and he was extremely emphatic. He was gentle and I didn't feel a thing. I felt a little queasy after and he patiently looked after me until I felt better. Today, I went for more blood work and the woman was the total opposite. She was rude and she seemed in a hurry to get done with me so she can move on to the next patient. I requested that she take my blood from my left arm and her reaction made it seem like I was asking her to poke herself with the needle. The way she grabbed my left arm to take the blood was rough and she left it hanging there with the arm band tightened badly. I asked her to give me a second so we can adjust the band and she told me "I can't wait, 1, 2, 3" and she stuck the needle in. She did it so roughly that now I have a bruise and the injection site is swollen. If I ever go back for blood, I'm requesting the gentleman because I don't trust anyone else. I also think they really have to train their staff to be more like him. read more

The manager doesn't speak any English. The employees don't speak any English. They don't even have a front desk, just a kiosk.

Service is good but you must wait 3 weeks or more for an appointment. Walking In, they will take care of you but you will wait a couple of hours or go after 11 and you may get lucky and only wait 30 minutes read more

I had a very pleasant experience. I did not have an appointment so I got there at 5:30am. I was the second person in line. At 6:00am they called in the people with appointments. Shortly after they started calling people without appointment as spaces started opening (people with appointment that did not show up). I checked-in and waited in my car (I was parked right in front of the door). After 5-10 minutes I was called in, they processed my orders and payment. Followed by getting my bloodwork done by Rita. We drove to this location to get my daughter's blood work done but were turned away as they no longer take walk-ins on Saturdays. We arrived early and there were only two people before us on the queue. It's difficult to understand why they would have a rule that is inconvenient to customers. When you have little or no competition you can make all the rules you want. They do offer walk-ins on week days. read more

No one; but me, likes going to the dentist...much less to get blood work done! Today I'm not reviewing food, nor drinks, nor anything fun! My little one and I recently went to get lab work done. I anticipated the place to be packed--especially on a Saturday morning, so I made an appointment over a week in advance. Please allow me to add that this was the only location (the Deerfield Beach Quest), open and with one remaining appointment; so I took it! As I anticipated, when we arrived there was no seat available; but a gentleman kindly gave up his and I sat with my daughter on me. The lady at the window was professional and assertive, but the longer we remained there, the more I saw her kind heart and compassion. I wish I could remember her name; but I personally commended her in front of others prior to leaving! The rest of the staff was also caring and kind to the children. Unfortunately, I can't say the same for the phlebotomy skills of the first lady who drew blood from my little girl. She could not find her veins on either arm and the experience soon became torturous, as she tightened the bands and poked her--I had to stop her! From personal experience, I've had difficultly with getting blood drawn because my veins tend to collapse, so I could completely feel my little girl's pain and desperate cries. The lady apologized, left the room and sent another phlebotomist who immediately apologized, calmed my daughter by distracting her with questions about music and dance, and went as far as showing us a video of her daughter dancing the Whip and Nay Nay . She took some time prepping the arms and went straight for the vein! Done and done . She said that the next time, to ask for her directly and that it would be noted in the system. For this reason, if you should need blood work, I recommend you go to Quest Diagnostic in Deerfield Beach (W. Hillsborough and S. Military Trail). read more

Great, quick service. This is a new location for Quest Diagnostics so not all tests are currently available. The staff is friendly, professional and puts you at ease. I've always had trouble getting blood taken out because of the size of my veins. It was not an issue here. The phlebotomist was experienced and listened to my concerns. Overall great experience. This is the second time I have been to this location. And I can't recommend it. First of all the staff is unfriendly. Perhaps it's because I don't speak Spanish, but they are not nice. The tech who took my blood doesn't smile and acts like she's bored with her job. The check in process this morning was particularly surprising because they have a new corporate policy that they MUST collect any ANTICIPATED patient responsibility at check in. This means you MUST give them a credit/ debit card or check at the appointment time. I am not comfortable with giving my credit cards out, but I'm having serious health issues and had to have the tests done, so I gave my credit card. But I won't be going to another Quest Diagnostics again. read more

My nurse was great I made an appointment I was in and out very quickly. They were able to draw my blood on the first try and it was such a relief because I try to get my blood drawn and it's often very difficult. Sometimes they are unable to get it and its usually very painful and somewhat aggravating. Not here though, I'm very satisfied with my experience. read more
