God help us all if this is what we are left with now in our healthcare services, where patient/client hospitality should be the complete opposite of what is being displayed at this location! Please, HUMAN RESOURCES, do better going forward in your hiring choices, as us patients need safe/kind workers, opposed to one's who act as if you are bothering them for just going in to draw blood, which is the one of the main purposes of the labs existence itself. I am still in shock, just WOW!

The procedure was easy and painless. I was very happy with it. The parking lot has plenty of spaces. On the 1st floor, there is a directory that lists the suite numbers of the businesses such as, Anchor Medical Associates, Lifespan Laboratories, Men's Health Center, and Infectious Diseases Outpatient Clinics in Rhode Island. The Lifespan Laboratories hours are Monday-Friday: 8:00am - 5:30pm and is located on the 2nd floor, Suite D. Anchor Medical Associates is my PCP so I usually go there first and then have bloodwork done at the Lifespan Laboratories right around the corner. When you walk in, you first pull a ticket number and then your number will be called by the receptionist. The receptionist will check you in and I gave her my lab requisition form. Within 5 minutes, I was called in and blood was drawn. Phlebotomist was very pleasant and process was quick and seamless. There was no bruise at the blood drawn site.

After waiting 15 minutes, an elderly couple approached the counter and when the lady complained about the wait, the employee started yelling and called for security. The technician soon cam in while still chatting with the other technician who was still in the greeting area. My blood was drawn while they continue to converse with each other and certainly not paying much attention to their patient. They were even criticizing their employer referring to Lifespan as "cheap". When the drawn was down the technician removed the needle not looking at the injection site, but rather looking towards the person he was talking to. Withdrawing the needle was extremely painful. Seem as if it was withdrawn at a bad angle. The picture shows the end result
