Had to have some additional blood work done, and because of work schedule and travel schedule for work it was really hard to fit it in during the week. Luckily this location does offer the services on the weekend! I made an appointment online and had signed up for text messaging alerts and reminders for my appointment. I would highly recommend anybody who is going to quest for blood work or urine work or anything, to do this as it saves a ton of time. I arrived 15 minutes before my scheduled appointment time and was able to check in directly from my car through my text message. I've waited until I received a message saying that it was time for me to enter the lobby area. I will say the lobby in this location is quite small and it is almost always full. They are very busy location. I was called a little bit before my scheduled appointment time at 9 AM. The phlebotomist that I had was absolutely adorable. She was super friendly and was thorough and checking all of the order information. She had a great bedside manner as I have horrible veins, but she made it super easy and painless. While this location is not my normal location for my lab work. This is my second time being here and I've never had any concerns. Not to mention, they are open on Saturday! read more

So I loved coming here and loved the renovated the place however this morning they allowed a phlebotomist in training to stick me who was told by me use my LEFT arm and she's like well let me try the right. Sure enough she couldn't do it right so the trainer the actual phlebotomist used my left arm showing the trainee how it's properly done! There was no place to sit in the cramped waiting room packed with people. Over booked and was more than 20 minutes late going back. Appointment at 1:10 and left at 1:45. Seemed to be short staffed, but those working were doing their best and very polite. read more

This is my least favorite Quest Lab location in Central Florida. I avoid it and whenever possible will drive out of my way to visit another location. The wait is brutal and the waiting area feels cramped and old. It could be because it is so close to the hospital. The desk staff makes me feel like I'm intruding over their providing a paid service. They are probably just over worked and feel under appreciated. Of course you can book an appointment and they try to get you in right away. I got to the facility and signed it. I was too late for my appt so I signed in as a walk-in. The screen told me it would be a 30-60 min wait and the lobby was so full, there was no where to sit. I went and stood right outside the door while I was waiting. At one point an employee came out looking for someone. Then later a woman came out and asked if I was waiting and I told her yes. After a min I walked in and the same woman was standing in the lobby. She then asked if I was waiting for service and I said yes. She said they prob called my name and cancelled me. I asked why she didn't call outside for me but did for the other person. She said "the outside isn't my responsibility". I told her it was too full to sit inside. So I asked if I should sign in again and she said "no. We are closed". It was 10:20. I was doing fasting bloodwork and I was there. She wouldn't take me back. After leaving I noticed that the office closes at 10:30. She could have done my blood work but CHOSE not to. This is ridiculous! Fasting blood work 20 min away from my house for no reason. I needed an update on my blood work for my doctor and had gone to the Quest by his office the last time. I waited about an hour then but had no appointment. This time, I went on line and actually made an appointment for this office which is closer to my home. When I arrived, I signed in and took a seat. It was a busy little place and many people had arrived without an appointment so they had been waiting about 45 min or so. After about 5 min, they called my name and brought me around to a separate desk. They took my information and told me to wait down in one of the lab rooms. A few moments later, a nice tech came in, took my blood with absolutely no pain, and I was done! A total of about 10 min of my time from walking in to walking out. Great! I totally recommend going online and getting an appointment if you have the time. Quest actually has an app for the iPhone that allows you to make appointments! These idiots, I went in to just get routine bloodwork done. I went to there little kiosk and registered and put the option text me when ready so I can wait in my car. I was there about an hour before they closed. So I tried to walk back in just before closing to make sure I would still get my test done.... and the door was locked. No text ever came, no one to called cause they just send you to a million different automated options. What a bunch of jerk offs!! read more

I had a quick and easy experience this morning with Lindsay S! I explained I hadn't had my blood taken in a while and was slightly nervous. She went above and beyond to ensure I was ok throughout the experience and walked me through every step of the process and was a total sweetheart! Definitely recommend her and this facility for quick, sterile testing! read more

I have been to this location several times and it has never been less than 45 minutes wait. I have been at others further away and it was much less crowded and the staff were much nicer. I would say to myself this is more convenient, but Im currently sitting on a nasty floor waiting to be seen. It's my first time making an appt but it doesn't seem to make a difference in how much sooner I'll be seen as I was put at the end of the long list of more than 30 people with more than 75 minutes wait. What did I ever do in life to evoke such harsh treatment at Orlando area labs? I mean, I smile at people and help out whenever I can, but it seems my lab experiences in this area leave me feeling as if I'm a second class citizen. . .or not even a citizen at all. I mean, the place is clean and there was hardly a wait, which is exactly what I want when dealing with all things medical. The woman that took my blood was pleasant enough (thank God!), but the front desk chick. . .she needs a holiday. . .an extended holiday. Either that or a happy meal. I called several times prior to the appointment to make sure the doctor's orders had been received, and no one picked up the phone. There was no option to speak to a human. All I could do was leave a message, but could not do that because the mailbox was full. All I got was a recording to call yet another number. Do yourself a big favor and find a doctor who doesn't use this Lab or any other Quest lab. They are the worst that I have ever come in to contact with. You name it they suffer from it... The techs are poorly trained and often leave bruises. The test results are not dependable. They double bill for blood draws and make it impossible to get resolved. Their customer service is Rock Bottom. I can not warn you away from these hacks enough. Ask your doctor to find a different lab. If that doesn't work than find a different doctor. It is well know in the industry that these guys are the worst. If you are stuck with lab, get a second opinion on any of their test results. Good luck... read more

I braced for the needle prick and was pleasantly surprised to find that the tech had already filled one tube with blood and was reaching for the next. You think it would only take A few minutes to do a routine check up but they also have dozens of other customers waiting to be serviced. The employees seem overworked and stressed. If you want to feel like a dumb**s minority this is the place for you. I was pregnant at the time and came here to get my blood work done. While waiting,the receptionist calls out my name, I know it's kind of hard to pronounce , but I was use to it being mispronounced so I don't mind it sometimes. Well the front desk lady calls out my name and then repeats it and laughs out loud , then repeats it and snickers to herself then says my name again in different ways making it sound like animal noises while I am standing at her window watching her. Then she goes "this you?". I felt so disrespected, I couldn't believe someone could be so ignorant. Guess she didn't know I spoke full blown English. I would never recommend this place to anyone. I think whoever is in charge of this facility should reevaluate their employees and pay attention more to who they hire. read more

My doctor sent in some blood samples through Quest and when I came for the appointment two of the 6 samples were not done. Since the samples all work synergistically, my doctor could not diagnose the prescription . Quest continues to fail EVERY time. Not only that, they are expensive and they do not return the test results on a timely manner. Last time I was waiting for results, instead of seven days, it took them 16 days to send them to the doctor. Worst diagnostic agency ever!!! read more

After making an appointment at LabCorp and having to wait extremely long, I ended up walking out and coming here risking not having an appointment and it was a good idea! I was seen right away and everyone was really nice. I came for a Glucose test so I really just wanted to get it over with so I could go eat since I had to go fasting. Be prepared to wait forever. It doesn't matter if you are old on young they treat you with no respect. Receptionist does not look at you when she talks or answers and seems really upset when you ask anything. Not sure if quest needs clients though but expect no mercy at this one. read more

When I went to the back I was about to do my labs and they had the wrong paper with someone else informtion on it. Today was a horrible day visiting quest diagnostic in Ocoee. The service was a nightmare. I arrived early to my appointment and it still took 1 hr 1/2 before I got seen. Nevertheless Sasha was the rudest person one could be. She told me she was not allowed to tell me what test were being ran. Went there this morning 3/10/17 to get my blood drawn, and when I was called around the back I was told I have a member's responsibility and she needed to charge my card. I know that I should not have one so I stepped out to call my Insurance and they told me the same. Came back in with insurance company on phone so she could speak to them and they both had a nasty attitude. The manager said to go to Marsha D who was handling it first to take the call. She then started to have a nasty attitude. After sitting down she started talking under her breath and sucking her teeth so while I was writing down her name to report her, she realized and yelled out at me "its MARSHA D! your lucky". I told her how rude she was and I took my forms back and left after I spoke to the manager. No one should have to deal with this type of attitude so early in the morning. They lack good customer service skills because something so simple could have been dealt with properly and her anger and tone was not needed and very unprofessional. read more
