All these bad reviews are from people who had no appointment and had to wait... That's what happens when you don't have an appointment or reservation anywhere! It's not new lol. I visited the clinic on 2/27/24 with an appointment. My appointment was at 8:30a and I got there at 8am, I was early so yes I did have to wait about 30ish mins but that was no problem at all. The tech I had was so incredibly patient and took great care of me. I always get extremely light headed and dizzy which I did warn her about prior. She gave me alcohol pads to smell, a cold towel on my back, plenty of water, and even fanned me to get some air. She didn't mind that I had to sit a little bit longer till the dizziness went away. Overall I do recommend this place with an appointment if not you will have to wait. read more

Went in for an extensive test and they lost a page of my lab work that was urgent. When asked to be accommodated to take another sample asap they said no and I could join the waitlist with no guarantee they could see me because they have a lot of patients. Lost lab work and inability to accommodate or correct their mistake. Best solution they could offer was to make an appointment a week later. read more

This place is terrible I walked in on a Saturday May 10th and I walked up to the machine and I noticed that there were like 10 people outside in the waiting area waiting to do some bloodwork. So the people that works in Quest calls people and I was like 11th person on the waiting list. And once I heard my name I got up and I went to Room 1 and I was being attended to a woman by the name Cecilia and I gave her my blood orders from my doctor and she looked at it and she asked for my insurance and information and I gave it to her. And when she grabbed a needle and she asked which arm do you want to draw blood on and I told her my right arm because in truth my left arm you couldn't find any veins. And she injected the syringe inside my right arm. And she was having trouble looking for my veins and I felt the needle going up and down my vein and I told her your hurting me and she's like ohh mybad I'm sorry I'm having trouble finding the vein and she's like you want me to stop and I looked at her saying well you have the needle in my arm and she's like I found the vein and surely enough the blood came out and she finished talking out my blood and she put a band-Aid on the injection site.and I did my things that I had to do on that Saturday buying stuff for Mother's Day and when I got home. I wanted to remove the band-aid and I noticed my arm is bruised up so bad it looks like somebody beat me on my arm -_-. They need to get professional license nurses to do labs. Hi. After reading the reviews, I made an appoinment before going. I was literally in and out in 4 minutes!!! Fastest appointment ever. I had gone in quite a bit earlier (trying to sneak in earlier) and they said no, to wait until my alloted time. While I was there, I did see quite a few walkins taken....so I guess it is hit or miss! They called me in almost as soon as I took a seat. It helps to have the appt on your phone because you can sign in right as your walking in. No need to talk to anyone before. The woman who took my blood was nice, was able to get my vein in just one jab and I was out! All in all, I was quite satisfied with my experience at this Quest location. read more

This place is an embarrassment! Walked in at 7am (usually the time frame for walkins is 30-60 minutes). WAITED FIVE HOURS UNTIL I LEFT! The laziest ladies I have ever seen... two hours after I walked in, one of them walked out to get (breakfast? God knows what) and came back with her bag of food and took another hour to take a patient in. By 12pm they still had APPOINTMENTS FROM 11AM backed up because they are incompetent. I came in as a walk in on a Saturday as did 12 others. I got in after waiting for close to 1.5 hours, but the clinic was always totally full, appointments kept on coming. The Phlebotomist was kind and courteous and so were the nurses every time I asked them the same question about the waitlist. I had a terrible experience. I had made an appointment online but it wasn't honored. I helped an elderly woman make a walk-in appointment using the office's kiosk, and she ended up getting seen before me. There was no one at the front desk most of the time. When I inquired with an employee about my appointment, she didn't understand and said just wait. Later, an employee finally acknowledged me but waved really rudely. Inside the examination room #5, the employee barely spoke any English and said, "What doctor?" I didn't understand her so I politely told her in my best Spanish that I had an order from my doctor sent to Quest a while ago. She still didn't understand and said while tapping on the computer, "Nada!" I said, I'll see if the order is on my patient portal, then she rudely told me and waved me away to go to room 1. I was confused, I said it'll be fast. She kept gesturing rudely. I went to room 1 and there was another patient and employee. I think the employee meant the waiting room, so I gave her the benefit of the doubt. I called my doctor's office and they asked me for Quest's fax #. It was REALLY hard to get an employee's attention. I had to go to an examination room to ask someone, and I was very polite. She gave me the business card. When my doctor's office sent the fax, I asked an employee to follow up about the fax and she was frustrated, rude, exclaimed that fax takes a few minutes. I told her, it was sent, then she stormed to the fax machine, grabbed all the papers and slammed on the paper, saying something like, "See, your name not here." While still on the phone with my doctor's office, I said I can't do this blood work here, the employees are so rude for no reason and it felt like discrimination, so I left. Experiences and situations like this make it tough to not develop prejudice and resentment towards people in certain cultures. Every single employee I encountered were rude, barely spoke any English, and seemed like they hated their jobs. It's so unfortunate that many customers are treated like this and this business is still operating. Their responses to customers' reviews on Yelp and Google are all generic, insincere in my opinion, and useless. I will never go to any Quest locations ever again. I hope that Quest gets their act together and treats everyone with respect and kindness asap. The work culture needs to change and employees' attitudes need to improve. This business will not survive long term if they continue to operate this way, in my opinion, which will result in a lot of unemployment. read more

Absolutely worst location. I just left after waiting 1 hour and didn't even get any service done. The girls that work here are extremely unprofessional and rude. I arrived at my appointment time (11:20am) and signed in at the kiosk, however I didn't have my license on me and was unable to check in correctly. I stood by the window for almost 6 minutes until I was able to flag down a worker who luckily came to help me and register me. About 5 minutes after, another worker calls my name and explains that I signed in incorrectly, to which I explained to her that her co-worker was the one that signed me in. I sat and waited for around 55 minutes until I heard the rest of the people in the waiting room complaining about not having been called yet for their 12pm appointments. One worker finally showed up at the window after hearing people complaining and arguing and told everyone they would be called at their appointment time, which was untrue. I got worried because it had already been an hour since my appointment time and went to ask her, to which she responded that since I was late I had to wait for all the other appointments to go first and I would be the last person to get assisted. I explained to her that 1. I was not late 2. Her coworker checked me in first and it is definitely not my fault that she checked me in wrong and this same girl had to check me in a second time. She didn't care at all, she showed no sympathy for the fact that I had been sitting there waiting for an hour already. Everyone was complaining and yelling at them because apart from the fact that they are obviously understaffed and sadly it is not our fault, they aren't at least nice and compassionate as they should be. Needless to say never going here again, I'm better off driving further to go get my bloodwork done in a location that actually takes our time into consideration. read more

This is my wife favorite Lab facility. My wife has always struggled with blood analysis due to the terrifying fear of needles. She used to faint when withdrew blood or simple acted as a child when it comes to this type of services. She had to be on a bed and be distracted to minimize the chaos. We met Gerardo at this facility and after 15 years of no blood work. We went to getting her blood with a butterfly on a stretcher, to on a seat and to now being able to go on her own with no fear at all. Gerardo is an incredible man that helps the community and he has no idea how much. Hopefully he gets the recognition he deserves. I know many customers come back and bring him greeting cards and their babies as a result of their appreciation for what he does and how he does it. The world should have many more Gerardos. Kudos to him and the friendly staff there. read more

Visit on 22 FEB 2024: Zero stars, Quest should consider reviewing and supervising all of the staff there! Unprofessional staff. I went there for a required urinalysis, something I haven't needed in over a decade. Of course, the protocol and process has changed, but I or anyone doing it for the first time wouldn't know specific details about it. As a military veteran, many years ago, I was even an "observer" for these, and during my first years of work in the private sector, I was required to test routinely at some jobs, but protocol and technology have changed. I got to this location only a few minutes before my scheduled appointment, about 1/2 hr. before closing, then I was rushed in by one of the youngest techs there, I did not get her name. Since I was rushed in, I was not ready to provide a sample, I requested to get some water to help me be ready, but was denied any and she stated rigidly that for this type of testing it was prohibited for me to get any water from them. I felt treated as a "criminal" from the start! Years ago, whenever I was selected for these tests "randomly" by prior employers, water was never denied, dignity also was in fashion. I stated clearly that I was not yet ready and after a short back and forth with her, she said she would not take care of me and proceeded to abruptly take me out of the room, a very rude demeanor. She rudely declined to provide her name even after being asked. Coming out of the room I requested to talk to a supervisor, to which another lab tech, Nefertiti, one of the seniors in the place, stated they have no supervisors, she also would not share her colleague's name but agreed to proceed with the test. I was not feeling well from the prior encounter, but to go to a different location and reschedule meant further delays. It took a few more minutes while struggling to compose myself, already feeling uneasy, I accidentally dropped the first cup in the toilet on that first attempt; I was asked by Nefertiti if I had ever done a urinalysis in the past (I had and in many occasions) but a while back, when respect and understanding were part of the process. People had patience to explain. To this point, I am still unclear about the new protocols, as comparing notes with some of my colleagues' recent experiences, lab technicians at different Quest locations differ on how to do it. I was told I should have already known and told by my employer! I feel that since my appt. was only 1/2 hr. before they closed, they were rushing people in and out so staff could leave, I was sort of an annoyance to them in particular as I was asking general questions regarding the new protocols. So many things have changed, the collected sample did not have any "security strips" at the top of the cup, something I expected. In the past these would typically be secured with the owner's signature over a tamper-safe tape to ensure there is a chain-of-custody. I was told this was a "rapid-test" and it did not require it, I was then expelled from room immediately, right after I got proof I had the test done. It's also very strange that the paper does not show the collector's name! Another flaw in this process? I then sat in a waiting room inside the office for a moment to collect my thoughts and reflect on what just happened. As I sat there, Nefertiti had the staff in the first room and started to gossip to all about the interaction with me, all seemed to be unaware I was still there, this sort of behavior is very unprofessional. I immediately stood up and told them aloud that what they were doing was not only unprofessional but also shameful. The lack of professionalism that exists at this location is understated by my experience. read more

Such an efficient experience here. I had to get blood drawn for testing and once I had my lab order, I was able to easily make an appointment online. They are located in a shopping center so there was plenty of parking. Once I arrived, I checked in via tablet (if you don't have an appointment, you can get into the queue via the tablets as well). Then, within minutes, I was seen (on time!!). My veins can be diva-ish. They roll, or they hide, or they just plain shut down. The phlebotomist was nice and patient. My appointment was at 7AM! And I got there at 6:45am there was a huge line of people outside waiting so I used the phone link to check in & they never text back saying when I can go in. I went inside after I saw 10 minutes had pass and no text. This place treat people like trash and it's unacceptable. Lobby is full of people that need help with questions or using the check in kiosk and no employee available to help. I helped 3 ladies while I waited. So I KNOW SHE DIDN'T CALL ME 3 times! I don't know why this company has walk-ins. They put you on a waiting list if you don't have an appointment. I got there at 5:50am and was put on a waiting list because I didn't have an appointment. I sat there for almost 2 hours. I asked two times if they were going to call me in soon. I was number one on the list and the lady tells me that everyone that has an appointment goes first. I understand that but as soon as someone would walk in with an appointment they would take them in right away. Never calling on the people that came in before they opened. I had an appointment here and I was attended within 10 minutes of arriving. It's really REALLY fast compared to other locations that have you there for hours. I had the QR code so checkin was extremely easy. There also was a nice gentleman that helps you check in. Yaniuska did a great good drawing out my blood. Usually I can't lift up my arm because of the pain but she was gentle. :) They also check your temperature when you arrive at the door. 10/10 recommend read more

I took my daughter in on Feb and they never sent the results and when the doctor office called they said they didn't have it. I had to call and go off so they could find her lab results. I'm petrified of needles so facing my fears was the hardest part of the ordeal. I was able to quickly make an appointment online for my blood test and once I arrived, I was attended within minutes making the dreaded needle situation easier to overcome. I felt very comfortable with the phlebotomist as she assured me it wasn't going to hurt as much as I thought it would. Minutes later, I was done and on my way out with a cute pink bandaid covering the area which made me lol like a trooper in style. It's centrally located so coming to this location is quite accommodating to those in the Westchester area. If you're unsure of the price you're going to be responsible for paying, you can call ahead with your insurance information and get that info given to you prior to your appointment. Most physicians will send you will a pre-filled form so you never have to gave the unknown when coming for specific pathology purposes. As long as you make an appointment, you should be in and out within no time making this lab a great choice for your routine lab work. read more

Quick and convenient process for blood work. I made an appointment online, checked in early at the kiosk, and was seen right away. In and out within 15 minutes. The waiting area was bright and clean. My phlebotomist, Carmen, was awesome. She had to draw 8 or so vials of blood and it was probably one of the best blood drawing experiences, as in no pain and minimal bruising. I am a phisysian that sends many cases from our CEDA facilities to quest. I was very disappointed of the service and how they treated me And others. I asked for a poffessional curtesy to do my blood test ASAP and was told they would. After over 1 1/2 hr waiting I asked a staff member that came out for a moment if they could accommodate me And the response was that they do not extend to anyone professional courtesy. I have never had a worse experience in any healthcare related facility, and I've never felt less safe. I went to get the COVID-19 antibody test today. When making the appointment by phone, I had asked what safety measures they had in place, And was told that everybody inside was required to wear a mask. I was also told that 10 people were allowed in at a time. This was not the case. No one was monitoring the number of people. It got too crowded for COVID. Regulations were not being followed, and to my surprise the staff had their masks over their chins with their mouths exposed and were speaking to one another, and to patients with no protection at all. At one point I was in a tiny cubicle with 2 staff, one of whom pull her mask down as she spoke. This was who was taking my blood. At one point I vocalized that I was uncomfortable, commenting on how they were not taking appropriate safety measures. They did not seem to care at all. I spent an hour and a half there. When I got there, they wanted my paper prescription. Having not left the house in 6 weeks, and not having a printer, I only had it on my email. They tried sending me home, and told me I couldn't be tested, instead of trying to help. Again, it's a production to go anywhere during this time, and they were readily going to send me home to reschedule and appointment, and didn't care to help. I thought to call my doctor who faxed the requisition over, but they were certainly not suggesting to help me. If I didn't have coronavirus before, I hope I don't get it now, because the lack of concern for safety and common decency was nothing short of unacceptable. read more

This is my first time going to this location and last. I went for regular blood test and a COVID-19 antibody test. Blood work was done but they didn't do the COVID-19 test! My Doctor's office told me to contact them to see why a text that was requested by a Doctor wasn't performed. I haven't been able to speak with anyone at this location. The reason I'm giving quest 2 stars is because although I'm really upset about the bruising on my arm, the staff was very nice, and gave immediate attention. I don't like to give bad reviews as a matter of fact this is my first review. I'm not sure who was the lady that took my blood was because I didn't get her name. While finishing up she took the needle out, then realized that she still needed two tubes left, she was going to just open up another tube and fill it from there. At that point I told her not to and to just draw it from the other arm. She then told me "I'm so sorry, honestly I was thinking about something else. I wasn't thinking" I just nodded cause I didn't even know what to say. I'm guessing she didn't get the vein we'll because not much came out. So she still had to open up the other tube and get some from there. Now I'm left with a huge black and blue all over my arm and elbow. Not to mention it hurts. read more

I really like Quest because accessing results, making appts, etc., is very easy and convenient. I've been going to the Quest near Dadeland Mall on US1for years. It is very clean, and the sign in process very effecient. Unfortunately, I have to have very frequent bloodwork done. I have very difficult veins, am on the thin side, and I get super nervous, because of a past bad experience at this location. I always ask now for "Humberto" because he's really good. I always ask for him, even if I have a longer wait. I was disappointed at my last visit, when the lady that took care of me told me that he is no longer there. I asked if he transferred to another center, and she said "no", that he went to work somewhere else. I wonder if anyone can inform me if this is true. He's the only one that has drawn my blood with almost no discomfort. At this last visit, I felt pain and pressure for each tube of blood that was drawn (6 tubes). The phlebotomist was not very sympathetic. I dread having to go through this again. Does anyone know if Humberto transferred to another location? read more

It felt like walking in 2017. Quest really stepped up their game. The whole place is designed to look clean, professional, and color coordinated. I was there for less than 15 minutes (I had no appointment). Also, I went right before closing time, which is 3 PM, during the weekdays. The people were super sweet.
