Location has a large parking spot but it was quite full for my 12:40pm appt. I arrived early and checked in at 12:30pm through the text link they sent. Despite being early, I didn't get called back until about 1pm, 20 minutes past my schedule time. Different locations I've been to never had that long of a wait past my scheduled time. The room I went into was room 8, and that room was spacious, luckily, so my daughter was able to be in the room with me. I arrived to a full waiting room. I thought for certain I'd be waiting for at least an hour if not more. I'm very pleased to report I was seen and done in about 20 minutes! I made an appointment online prior to arrival. In the waiting area, there is a self check-in kiosk. I scanned the QR code from my Quest email. The system then prompts you to place your ID under a scanner, then insurance card. A few simple questions and check in is complete. There is an option to be texted when it is your turn. My phlebotomist was nice, professional, and did well drawing blood. It was a good experience at this location. Now, I hope Quest billing gets processed accurately as that doesn't always go well for me. My Quest billing rating would be much lower. read more

I came here without having an appointment and despite so many people in the waiting room, I was seen within 10-15 minutes. I had 8 vials of blood drawn and Cheri was awesome. She was so quick. I had to bring my 3 year old son with me and she was so polite and playful with him. Great customer service and fast! read more

it don't even deserve 1 star. I will not be returning due to a very poor experience during my baby's visit. My son is 1 year and 2 months old, and I understand that drawing blood from a baby can be more challenging. However, the experience we had was concerning. The first staff member who attempted to draw his blood took a long time trying to locate a vein and was ultimately unsuccessful. She informed us that his vein had "blown out" and asked whether we wanted to try the other arm or return at a later time. This was upsetting, especially since a second staff member was then brought in and was able to quickly locate a vein and make an efficient attempt. This raised concerns as to why a more experienced staff member was not assigned from the beginning, particularly given that the patient was a young child. The difference in skill and efficiency between the two staff members was very noticeable. While I understand the difficulty involved, it would have been more appropriate to have the most experienced person handle a pediatric case to minimize discomfort and distress. Additionally, I was disappointed with how my son's name was handled. After I clearly explained the correct pronunciation of his name, the first staff member continued to pronounce it incorrectly. This felt dismissive and unprofessional, especially after directly asking for clarification. Overall, the experience was stressful for both myself and my husband. It was difficult to watch our child go through multiple attempts, and the situation escalated to the point where my husband had to step out of the room due to frustration. One other staff member assisting with holding my baby was helpful and supportive, and I do appreciate her efforts. However, based on this experience, I do not feel confident returning for future services. For procedures involving infants, I strongly recommend assigning the most experienced staff member to ensure a safer, more efficient, and compassionate experience for both the child and the parents. read more

Yes, one can Yelp about blood draws. It's a thing, try it. This quest location to somebody like me is perfect. Easy parking feet from the front door. Easy on-line booking, easy no-receptionist reception and simple kiosk check-in with ID and insurance cards, sit down and wait until you are called. On they day that I am here bright and early in the morning, I provided some assistance to an older woman who was struggling with the kiosk check-in and lack of receptionist business model. I helped her out and she was soon all checked in and waiting for her appointment as well. Tech savvy Yelpers, help a fellow human out if you see someone like a deer in headlights attempting to use the kiosk. Let me repeat, when you walk in, it is only a room and you will not find a Quest employee for they do not have receptionists, just a kiosk for check-in. Book everything on-line. Emily is the Quest rep calling me back from the locked door and drawing my blood today. She is the perfect blend of efficient professionalism, pain free blood drawer and administrative wonder on quickly processing details of insurance and payment. Not to mention she is a touch funny and is matching my interest to chit-chat while having my blood drawn and peeing in a cup. Boom! Boom! Boom! The perfect trifecta....I booked appointment easily, I am in and out quickly and Emily was great. Many people have to come to Quest for various reasons and most of them are not positive reasons. The woman (Praylean) was beyond friendly, competent and professional.. 3. The facility was clean and newly remodeled... I thought I was back in the SF Bay Area at one of the Sutter Health facilities.. Terrible experience. The phlebotomist who worked with me, the leader of the site, was rude and really unkind. When I would ask her questions she initially ignored me, non answering what I was asking, then when she decided to answer, her answers where short sharp, could and just like this "yep" or "nope" I felt very mistreated. When she put the needle on my arm, she didn't do quick and without much care leaving a very painful bruce. Terrible, terrible experience! This is the location in Summerlin. read more

I get my blood drawn every other month for medical testing at a different lab agency. I have only had this happen to me once before in all the times I've be poked and it was by someone with a very heavy and not very gentle hand. I had to go to Quest for a test and it has to be here because it's for something not medically related. Check in was easy and quick. That's a plus. They have several service rooms and they're all pretty private. Other than that, I'm not happy with my bruise. For context and comparison, I had actually had blood taken on this same arm, inner part of the elbow next to this large bruise, 2 days before this photo at a different lab for my medical test. I even pointed out to phlebotomist whose name starts with an A that I had a very small poke from earlier that wee that left a minimal mark. She decided to use the large vein on the side of my arm. It hurt when she put the needle in. It hurt for her to move it around to find the correct angle and then when she switched out the vial for a second one. I commented to her that it hurt. The bandage after was a piece of cotton and medical tape?? It didn't even apply any sort of pressure. Please retrain to use a gentler hand and not be so hasty. Anyway I'm not happy and hope to never come back again. read more

Over the years, I have used this Quest facility for many different tests and have always just setup an appointment online, same day almost always.. You just show up at the scheduled date/time and check in. The whole process is SO SIMPLE, anyone can do it. I have never waited more than 5 minutes after check in to be seen. The staff has always been super friendly with me, the place is always clean and I am in and out quickly. I don't think I have ever been at Quest for more than 20 minutes. (I have more problems at the bank, car wash, etc..). read more

I am so happy I found this quest location so close to my house. You can make online appointments. Once you get there, just check in on your phone. They send you a text 30 mins before appointment. CAMELOT was amazing. I always come to this location without an it's normally fast. Today was very busy so I waited over an hour on standby but it's a Monday, it's ok Camelot noticed me waiting and ask was I ok. She got me in soon and was very pleasant. I watched her treat all the patients in the lobby with care and sincerity while I was waiting. She's fast, efficient and can Multi-task like no other. Nearly 20 years ago, I had my first experiences with Quest and they were awful! It resulted in me going to Labcorp for any blood work for which my doctor gave me the form of tests requested. Along came a cardiologist in my medical repertoire, and she wanted bloodwork done that already had the Quest logo and the some bar codes for the two test batteries requested. It was my understanding years ago, that I could go anywhere even if it had the Quest logo. In spite of my past experiences, I remembered that there was a new Quest location in Village Square on Sahara. Being just a mile from home, I went online and made an appointment. I was sent a confirmation with a QR code that I could use the log in when I got to Quest. I also received a follow up email a few days before reminding me of my appointment and I got an additional text the day before. I arrived about 20 minutes before my schedules time. The code wouldn't let me check in. The gentleman who met me at the entrance to take my temperature told me I could check in at the counter. After the temperature check, I went to one of the two terminals. There were three options--use the QR code, type in your own information, and I really don't recall the third. I took the QQR code option, held my phone toward a square on the screen, and I was checked in. They were pretty much taking people in order and I was called when appropriate. The phlebotomist was a friendly woman and the draw was quickly done and I was on my way 6 minutes before my appointment time. Since this location is so convenient and my experience so positive, I'll see about coming here the next time I have to have blood work done. read more

I went for a pre employment drug test on Friday May the 2nd so I asked the lab tech about my prescriptions. She told me that I better tell my employer about the prescriptions I was taking because they are going to show and I will probably not get the job. I told her that I didn't feel comfortable telling a complete stranger about any medical issues I had. She told me that she couldn't care less because ppl often take drugs without prescription insinuating that that was my case and probably didn't care enough about this job then. I actually had my prescribed medication with me and again she said that she couldn't care less. I proceeded to ask if a doctor would give me a call to clarify any issues. AGAIN, she said that she couldn't care less and as I walked out of the room, she actually said "good luck with that" if I chose not to tell my employer about my medical condition. Am I on the wrong here or is she completely misinformed? I don't think a person in her position should say anything at all if she has no clue what to say, specifically with the "I couldn't care less" attitude. I would appreciate if someone from this location could respond to this post to hopefully show me that ppl at the Quest lab on Sahara actually DO care. But I'm not holding my breath as I see the horrible rating this location has. read more

Wow! Such an easy process. Make your appointment online and you just breeze right in. When I arrived I entered my check in/confirmation code, added my ID and insurance card and two minutes later I was called back for my blood draw. My lab tech was polite, friendly and professional. Before I knew it I was out the door in less than a half hour. I saw some folks trying to check in electronically and were really struggling. My doctor sent me to Question for bloodwork and other tests. I had the bloodwork test with no issue. The following day I needed to drop off FROZEN samples. I asked a woman to take the samples and was told I needed to make an appointment. Seriously??? I told her the samples were frozen and I didn't want them to defrost. Treating me like a toddler, she told me that WE must follow the rules. She was exceptionally condescending and I am livid. I actually hope the samples are ruined... maybe my doctor can get some attention. read more

I would like to suggest improvement of your system for a better efficiency. My doctor sent the request for my laboratory exams that needed fasting on September 28 to Quest. I waited for the laboratory to inform me that the request has been received. After waiting for a week, I called the doctor's office who again sent the request. I attempted multiple times to make an appointment and the earliest that was being given to me was 1:30 pm, for a fasting patient? I am now taking a chance as a walk in and is now in the waiting room hoping to be called but was told that it is uncertain if they have the order from my doctor. I arrived at 7:00 am. It is now 7:45 am and patiently waiting since there are many patients with appointments ahead of me, I am a retired physician who understood patients frustrations when they have to be in the waiting room for a long time. read more

I came here to take a blood test. When I arrived it was empty so I thought awesome this will be fast. I sign in and have a seat in the waiting room. I wait and wait. A lady finally comes out. She looks at me then goes back in the back. A few minutes later she motioned me to come to the front desk. She checks me in then after a few minutes brings me to a room for my blood test. The lady who draws my blood pokes me several times leaving me with a big bruise. This is the first time someone has had trouble taking blood from me. From start to finish I had like maybe 12 words spoken to me between the two. Such an awkward experience. This was my first time coming to this location and unfortunately my last. I will stick to the 2 locations on Tenaya where even though they are busy they are nice, quick and efficient. On a positive note this location is clean and I got my results quickly. read more

Medical testing, medical testing one, two, three...must we?! Yes, one should:) Lab testing places always have a filled waiting room, it's unavoidable from our end. Have that id available, along with your insurance card and lab work. This does help the process go a bit more seem less. I schedule my lab appointments online and about a week in advance. That alone can ease the sitting around and long wait. Now, my rating system for this location should be as follows: Not one star for the two front staff females the morning of my well in advance scheduled appointment. This is not my first go around with having my blood drawn. Heed my warning when I inform said two females that I have the worst veins for one to locate for the draw. Even the most novice of lab workers cannot find one. Not to mention if one must fast. I need to lay down, I bring a small cooler bag of juice and cookies for afterwards. They smirked at one another. Such professionalism from those two 'lovely females'. Hopefully they change their dispositions sooner than later. If not, those two belong in a back office. I'm called in, by LuLu. She is a ray of sunshine! We discuss the previous mentioned and she immediately responds to my warnings with not one issue and takes her time. After the needle situation is over (which was one of the best blood draws I've ever had- not one blemish later that day or thereafter)! LuLu springs into action and obtains me a juice! Even though I was well equipped with my own. She has me stay for a bit, making sure all is well:) Five stars for LuLu and her professionalism! read more

You used to be consistent with just walking in, first come first serve, and I drove all the way here to waste gas, to be told to schedule appointment later on today. Since I had the appointment, I was called with 5-10 minutes of when I checked in. The wait room is packed so I'm sure without an appointment it would have taken a long time. Rude staff. Was told we could drop off a urine sample without an appointment. The man that was helping wouldn't even let us finish speaking and told us we needed an appointment. Spent quite literally ALL day at different quests trying to get this urine sample dropped off. Three locations total until we could find one with an appointment. Just to be told WE DONT NEED AN APPOINTMENT. Avoid this place if you can. They're a disaster. read more

The initial check in is ridiculous. I had a QR code for my appointment but it couldn't find my appt time. I arrived 10 minutes early so I'd have time to check in. The kiosk wanted me to check in as a walk in and get a time 1 1/2 hours later. There is NO ONE in the waiting room to talk to. I collared a "nurse" to see if she could. Spoke very little English and was no help whatsoever, then just disappeared. I called the number to see if I could talk to someone, only to be circled through automated messages. No human to talk to.
