I prefer heading to this location in Newington as it usually is one of the less crowded ones in the area, meaning you "might" be able to schedule a same day visit, which when you are sick is important. Once you check in and your name is called - the staff will bring you back and they have always been nice to me. To date - I have always been treated with kindness and they are very effective at getting you in and out the door. Pro Tip - think you can just show up as a walk in and be seen - be careful you probably will have to wait an hour (or more) - trust me I know from experience.

The front desk is mostly pleasant to deal with and the phlebotomists are efficient. No one likes to get blood drawn, that's for sure, but this Labcorp, in my experience, makes it a mostly painless experience - pun intended!

That's a lot being said for a service that sticks a needle into your arm but in all honesty, I have referred many others to this lab and will continue to do so as their service is a "breath of fresh air" compared to the cold and distant personalities of other labs. ....however..... Was not too pleased with Philo on 12/23/2024, 2 PM as she was rushed, "No blood only air," did you drink anything today? "All I'm getting is dehyro patients today". etc. NOT GOOD. Louanne saved the day when she took over and successfully extracted 6 Viles with breathtaking ease. I would have given ya 5 but one variable got in the way. Hopefully the issue has been addressed.

INSTEAD: TWICE fasted for 12 hours + drove to Quest FOR NO VALID REASON + WASTED TIME + GAS + $ IN PROCESS. You can book an appointment online, or walk-in with a short wait, depending on how busy it is. Appointments are recommended. I booked mine online 30-minutes before I got here! The wait room is clean and brightly lit. The staff is friendly and efficient. I was out within 5 minutes.

If you want a smooth experience, make sure you make your appointment online. Although they do accept walk ins, they will prioritize people with appointments first. Early appointments book up fast. The staff at this Quest are very busy as I'm sure most of them are. Even so, they take such good care of their patients. Nice and clean office, smooth checking process. My phlebotomist was professional and gentle. I wish I caught her name. I was really amazed at how she handled my fear and anxiety with needles. A clean facility with great weekday (6am-6pm) and weekend (Saturdays until 12pm) hours. I have never had to wait that long to be registered and get my required lab work done. The staff has always been pleasant and of the countless vials of blood I have had drawn there - I can count on one hand how in experienced my phebotomist was. There is another Clinical Laboratory Partners further north on the Silas Dean Highway but they close at 4pm so for those needing a place on their way home from work, this fits the bill.
