I've been going to Quest since 2010, and I've ALWAYS preferred them over the other national lab chain. Quest puts its clients first. You can do everything you need to online, such as scheduling an appointment or reviewing your completed tests to see the results. Check-in is incredibly easy. You go up to the kiosk, enter your phone number, and if your ID and health insurance card are not current, all you have to do is lay each in the tray as instructed, and the kiosk will gather your information, which gets you through to your appointment quickly. Even if you wake up in the morning and decide it would be a good day to get your lab tests done, you can go to their website and select an open appointment for that same day, and get through their system quickly once at their location. Yes, you can go there without an appointment, but you may find yourself waiting for a long time while the people who took the time to book an appointment get to be seen quickly. As a matter of fact, I would bet you could go to the facility and make an appointment online with your smartphone while you're in the waiting room and get seen faster than walking in without an appointment. The walk-in queue builds up fast on busy days, and those with appointments are always seen before walk-ins. I just went to Quest on 08-18-2025 after miscommunicating with an appointment set for a lab specialist to come to my home to draw blood from another company. It was a fasting blood test, and I'm hypoglycemic, so when I confirmed not being able to accommodate the home appointment, I went to the Quest website and found just the right appointment. It allowed me to keep on track with the fasting requirement, while not having to wait so long that my blood sugar might drop too low. I had a wonderful experience, quickly logging in for my appointment. I waited less than 5 minutes before I was called. The phlebotomist was very kind, working with my mobility issues (she had cute little cat faces on her whiteboard, which made me happy as I am loath to get my blood drawn). She listened to my suggestions based on getting my bloodwork done every year, so it would be an easy draw, and everything went very smoothly. I was able to get back into my car, where my snacks were before my blood sugar dropped too low. I love Quest's spacious waiting room as it is arranged around the perimeter of the waiting area, so there are no clumped-up spaces of clients waiting like the other major lab company. There are displays all over the waiting area that tell you where you are in line and how many other people are before you, and you can choose to say whether you will be waiting inside the building or outside when you sign in on the kiosk (for those who get uncomfortable in medical facilities). They can send someone out to help you if you can't follow instructions on a screen or if you get confused easily, but a better idea would be to ask a friend or family member to help through the process as you do get put into a queue for those needing help along with all the other people waiting there for their appointments. I HATE blood draws, I had one Monday, and went to google the address, and saw these reviews before mine - I legitimately almost cancelled my appointment - I was terrified of all the bad ones. This turned out to be the BEST experience I've had at Quest. It was empty, they called me 10 minutes BEFORE my scheduled time, the nurse was super sweet, and understood completely my fear. I was in and out in probably 4 minutes, and didnt even notice the blood draw for the first time ever. I'm really glad I still went even after I scared myself with these reviews. You have to keep in mind this has like 8? over YEARS and they see TENS OF THOUSANDS of people. I received a notice about an appointment in Hudson, FL. I live in Albuquerque, NM. The notice does not recognized any messages other than confirmation or to stop sending texts. I looked up the site and tried calling the number to let them know they had the wrong number, but there was no option to get a LIVE person. Bad set-up. This is always been my go to place for bloodwork. They're always kind, always efficient, and extremely convenient.

Now I see why they have 2.5 stars! Been going to quest for over a decade and never had such poor customer service. Waited 40+ with an appointment cause the tech Shyla did not know how to properly do her job. She claimed that she could not find my labs and sent me back into the waiting room to figure it out myself. Rather than getting help or simply asking if it could be under a different name. After waiting 30mins after my appointment time and calling my doctors office 3x to get the labs repeatedly faxed over I was finally assisted by the manager Chantel. Chantel was very kind and competent as they were able to get my labs pulled up and draw blood in 5mins. Glad the manager knows how to do their job because the rest of the office seems to need more training. Don't come to this location unless you have time to waste. read more

I have seriously never had a bad experience at a Quest location and this location is by far the best one I have ever been to. I normally always feel a pinch or sting when I get blood drawn but Wendy was the first person where I felt absolutely nothing! Quest is so easy to quickly check in and schedule appointments. What happened to Quest Diagnostics. The Hudson , Florida location draws the blood and sends the sample to Tama for processing. It has been 12 working days and still no results when it usually takes 4 days to hit my computer. I have to keep cancelling doctors' appointments. Was there a fire at Quest ? Being that this location was nearby, I stopped in to have some questions answered. The staff working on that day we're very polite and very helpful.. addressing all of my needs 100%.. I found the establishment to be that of which you would expect of a facility of this nature... Very clean with ample parking outside. NI5TE: The proximity of this location to my home will make it my go-to lab in the future. The overall location is very easy to navigate to being that it's on State Road 52. I always do my pre check-in on line before I go for my appointment. I make sure that I get there at least 5 minutes before my appointment. The check-in screen is right inside the doorway. Just type in your name, follow the easy instructions on the screen, take a seat and within 5-7 minutes the staff will call your name. The lab is always very clean and the staff is friendly and very adept at drawing blood. All in all, a very pleasant, in and out, experience. read more

The new check in machines are pieces of crap! I had already given all the information on line including my insurance information. I have been going here for years. They have my info! The redundancy is ridiculous. They had to have a scan of my ID and a scan of my insurance card, which took forever to scan. Before, all I needed was my code. I had a 10:00 appointment and they did not call me until 10:20. What is the point of making an appointment? The waiting area was full because no one could check in on the machines. If these machines are at all Quest locations, it is time to find a new lab. read more

I was scheduled for lab work and Quest Diagnostics lost the blood test and also told me that the scripts from my doctor's office was never received. I was due for a complete knee surgery and my doctor's surgeon coordinator faxed the script 4 times!!!!  I am livid over this. This office has only has 2 stars and I wonder why!!!! This is inexcusable as they are playing with a person's life.  I am so disgusted with Quest that I will never go there again for blood work, or any other type of test. My trust has been totally eroded in them.  How dare they tell the doctor's surgical coordinator they never received the script(s).  This is NCOMPETENCE at its worst. Here is another example of their incompetence:  My sister went in for blood work several months ago as she had a brain stroke and her neurologist faxed in the script and, again, she was told the doctor never faxed the script. If there is a zero star, I would have given it! My appt 11:45 bcz the system did not give me earlier. However, I took an early lunch, stopped by at 10:45am. I met the clerk explain that my appointment is at 11:45am but hope to get in. There was ONLY ONE patient in the waiting room. She informed me the wait is 5mins. Sat there for 30mins, started seeing more ppl came in, were taken in before me. When asked they turned out told me bcz my appointment is at 11:45, they only took ppl who had appointment before me!!! If so why told me I could be seen in 5 mins? I could had just went on to do my errands and come back on my appointment but bcz I relied on her words and the system that she checked me in. They need to train their clerk to know the system better, which would stop wasting other ppl time. I only have 1hr slot to be free to run some errands, to have lunch before I had to head back to work. Later on I found out that my prescription requires urine test...the clerk took my blood and just let me go! Because of the front girl (Kelly), her reckless promised, I ended up to come back to work late, empty stomach, and none of my errands being done!!!! Because the other clerk reckless, I had to drive back to remind them that they need to collect my urine!!! Also I think because of expressing my right, the girl took my blood purposely hurt my vein...I have taken blood many time but I never had this pain before, it is deep in my vein...I think she pushed in the needle very deep....Im arm still very hurt now. This make you really think if you need to compromise comfort for your right when you expressed it? This is the girl work at station 4 on 4/13/2021. If you are the owner of the establishment, you need to be aware of this issue. If my arm continue hurting and swollen, you may have a law suit in your hand. I'm taking picture of it now. I waste literally 2hrs with them just for a simple blood work and urine test, which could take only 15mins!!! And now my arm is really hurting to the vein!!! read more
