Efficient, polite staff. Bianca was my phlebotomist with excellent skill at painless blood draw, clear answers and descriptions of tests my doctor ordered. I got in five minutes after my appointment time. Best advice: make an appointment on line before you go! The waiting room was full of people who came without appointments and had to wait more than an hour. The facility was fully equipped and spotlessly clean. Parking garage next door. read more

This place is a joke. I ended up going to another quest that was closing so they sent me to this location. Which was completely out of my way but I came anyway because I really needed the bloodwork. The "supervisor" all of a sudden today decided they are not taking walking ins. She literally came out with her two other phlebotomists and asked them if they want to squeeze me in. They didn't have time for A five minute blood draw, but they had time to come out all three of them to have this conversation with me. First I get sent over here by mistake because of the incompetency of their staff and they refused to accommodate me. Dumb and dumber working here. Today me and my wife went in to get blood draw for my 11 month old.. when we had our name called.. staff member advised me us only one parent allowed, Ok I stayed out, my son is crying on top of his lungs and I asked one of the staff that opened the door can I walk in to calm my son down? Her carelessness answer was no his fine we are taking care of him, and called the next patient, he is screaming the whole waiting room can hear my sons cry. Next my wife comes out crying staff that was drawing blood was so unprofessional, didn't know how to draw blood on a toddler, my wife told her you have the syringe stuck in his arm its not drawing blood take it out she refused and said something like " I know what im doing " anyways very horrible experience staff sucks there experience sucks ! I had a fantastic experience at this particular Quest Diagnostics. Although there are several locations in Glendale, this one holds to be one of the nicer ones I've been to. My entire experience was impressive, efficient and downright pleasant. So this office is located in the big medical building, meaning you need to pull in to the public parking structure before walking to the building. Upon walking into the office I was welcomed by a big waiting area with lots of walking space, lightly-colored wooden floors, a television showing the news and windows bringing in a lot of sunlight. There was a touch-screen iPad for patients to sign in easily before being promptly called. The entire look was clean, professional and very welcoming. All the employees there were polite, had smiles on their face and were generally so warm with each patient, and extra comforting to the nervous few toddlers that were waiting to get their shots. I came in as a walk-in and waited half an hour before being called by Damaris. This was during the time that their office was closing for lunch from 12-1 and I could hear her talking very sweetly with her staff members to take their lunch breaks. I love seeing staff members treat their own employees with respect because that goes to show how you will treat others in general, regardless if the environment is stressful or not. Damaris was so sweet and professional with handling my doctor's orders and getting my 8 vials of blood work done efficiently. I was out of there within an hour, and to be honest I didn't even think I would be accepted since I had arrived around 11:30...so close to their closing time! I definitely recommend my friends and family to come to this location for their medical needs. PARKING I think I paid 4 dollars or so for my one hour visit. I don't think they validate. read more

Cold & callous here. I was told by my doctor that I could just "drop off" my 96yo mom's stool sample at ANY QUEST LAB!! Easy! So I pulled up to this location and left my mom in the car running in the loading zone & ran in to drop it off! Well, that was almost an hour ago!!!!!!!!!! . I informed them I was just dropping off; that the signed order was in the bag, but here I sit...waiting because I didn't have an appointment to DROP OFF A SPECIMEN!! Every time I come here there's a problem. Their IT staff needs to be fired and replaced. I made an appointment using their phone service and even though I have the right location and I had written down my confirmation number they had no record of my appointment. I spelled my surname five times for that obsolete robot as if I were being pranked. I brought my child in on friday to get blood drawn as well as collect a stool and urine sample. I was given the containers to do it at home. There are no appointments available for 10 days- to drop off the stool and urine sample. So i decided to stop by the office today- thinking I could just hand it over. A interaction that would take less than 5 minutes. Instead I was told I would be put on a walk in list and would wait over 60 mins for someone to come out and collect it from me. So I left because I have work, kid pick, kid afterschool activities and can't wait over an hour. Its ridiculous that I have to wait 10 days to drop off poop, so i have to leave it in my freezer for those days. When i could hand it over to an employee and complete the transaction in less than 5 minutes. That is not a way to run a business. read more

I used their online system to input my information and log on to their waitlist which said 5min. It took nearly 3hours before I was even seen. There is no one at the front desk and patients had to pound on the door to get anyone's attention. I would understand if the office was busy but it was well over half empty. Also, all but a couple people were on the waitlist, so the prioritization of appointment clients was not a factor in wait time. We would hear laughter coming from the back room and the employees dismissed patients concerns with a minimizing attitude. I witnessed the joking while I was getting my blood drawn and while I was in the restroom I overheard an employee joking about the patient complaints saying, "Why are they complaining, they dont have jobs anyway." I had to go in for a scheduled lab test. I scheduled my appt online, and got a reminder text prior showing address and suite #. Bianca was my tech and she was wonderful! She was very kind and explained everything to me well. I got to the lab just under the wire to make my 1:20 appt and was taken on time. This was a 2 part test so I spend some time in the waiting area and it got busy but things kept moving! Bianca came to get me in a timely fashion for the 2nd half of my test. I see many negative reviews for this location here on Yelp, but from what I experienced and saw today all went seamlessly for all that were waiting! You Check in, your name goes up on the board and all seemed to be called in a timely fashion-like clockwork. There was a male tech on duty as well and he seemed very personable with his patients. Two out of the three phlebotomists were rude. The date was wrong on doctor's order therefore they refused to see me until November although my doctor's appointment is on the 18th of this month. The supervisor said to call the doctor which was done. The doctor wanted to talk to them to give the okay. No one would answer the door. Quest policy to eliminate customer service. Therefore no receptionist. Finally someone an answered the knocks. She refused to talk to doctor saying she was too busy. Continued knocking and another one came out. That phlebotomist talked to him and listened to me. The other phlebotomists were rude and would not listen. The one that drew my blood was excellent, efficient at her job and was friendly. It was a very miserable experience. Would say go to another Quest but from reading reviews it appears that all Quest's locations are poor at dealing with public. read more

I was here for a urinalysis for my surgery next Friday.... Never again. I waited almost 30 mins just to go to the bathroom? If not for my husband getting me a urine specimen cup from LabCorp I would.have waited longer. There wasnt anyone in the window to complain to. Don't even bother signing in. Your name disappears after 5 mins without informing the techs there. I had to complain to 2 people before I was let in. I thought I was gonna have an accident if I waited any longer. I have been using quest diagnostic for many years and to be honest Its not the best place to visit (not sure who loves getting there blood drawn). However, what keeps me coming back is the employees. The main person is Walter, when you get Walter you will definitely have a good time. He is always in a good mood and willing to help. With every upset patient he gets (there is a lot of them here) he always shows them respect and knows how to smooth the situation where the patient leaves satisfied. Patients need to be aware that majority of the time Quest has long wait times (I have gone to plenty of them and they all have a looooong wait time). If you do not have time to wait you may always make an appointment online or by calling quest.....it's that simple! Not every patient is an easy blood drawn, some are scared of needles or kids or a elder person may take a little longer. Also just because you hear an employee laughing in the back doesn't mean they aren't working, a lady was throwing a fit that the staff was laughing, a kid was getting his blood drawn so the employee was trying to make the kid smile and feel comfortable by being silly and making him comfortable (it's called going above and beyond). In other words just be patient and if you don't have patience make an appointment. read more

Most professional stuff work here, this is my second time at this location, I have been other labs but nothing can be compared with this location. I came here for 3 hour glucose test, they took me inn on my appointment time, I got weak, after the first blood drawn, (which she warned me about and told me if any point I feel bad to notify d security to come and get her) 15 min. later I felt like my heart beat was dropping, Bianca was the sweetest, she made sure I was comfortable, kept an eye on me lay me down, drawing blood was quickest thing for her, didn't even feel it, over all her actions restored my believes that humanity still exists, it's so heart warming and comforting to see humans like her character work in a health industry. give this place a try for your lab work, you will not be disappointed. read more

They need to consider shutting down this place. TERRIBLE SERVICE. I am sure %100 that I had an appointment and they're telling me system is not finding me because it probably didn't go through. This is the 4th month I am trying to schedule for a blood work and they're not even encouraging for walk-ins because they have 4 appointments in 1 hour and everyone is moody probably because everyone is complaining about this place and I am sure not only about this location but every Quest that exists. Non of the tablets are working that you need to sign in just so they can tell you to go back and come another time like my health is a joke to them. I've never been more frustrated with a health facility before and very unfortunate that my insurance doesn't cover anywhere else but Quest. I've been going to Quest Diagnostics since i got pregnant back in 2010....My doctors nurses were HORRIBLE at finding my crappy veins. I'd always end up so badly bruise to the point that people from work would ask me if I was ok. (they thought i was getting hurt or doing drugs). All i needed was to find the right person to find my veins. That person is Walter. THANK YOU Walter for your hard work and your kindness. He knows how to keep you calm when you're nervous. He knows how to treat kids and their fears of needles. Hence why I've taken both my girls to him. I trust him. He is AMAZING! Such patience, especially with my kids. He never gives any of us a bruise after a stick. I've had to look for him in different locations because he's moved but it's well worth it. Their online walk-in time estimate is a lie. I went there when the website told me there was a two minute wait time. When you arrive, you have to check-in through a tablet. Your name will appear on the TV which shows how long you've been waiting. You'll then see your name disappear, but nobody will call your name for at least another hour. My parking ticket says 11:16 and I was still waiting at 12:22, when I started to write this review. I checked the website, which still showed a 2 minute walk-in time. I'm sure they do this to fulfill some kind of performance indicator, but this is a shady business practice. The worst part is that you have to pay for parking so every minute they waste is money out of your pocket. Do not come here for a walk in appointment. read more

Absolutely the worst phlebotomist in the industry. Today was my last visit there. Every time I arrive, they look in their system and they can't find my order from the doctor. It's sitting on their fax machine in their office, and every time I tell them that they go out and look and there it is. Today, the gentleman who is heavyset with a beard, wouldn't bother himself to go look at the fax machine. He instead wanted me to sit in the lobby and call my doctor and have them resend it. Jill was amazing! I did not feel any pain during the whole bloodwork process. She was courteous, friendly & very communicative. I appreciated the fact that she triple checked if my info was correct before labeling & sending out the tubes. I HIGHLY recommend setting up an appointment. I was in and out within 30 min. not a review of my visit but of what happened to a mother and grandmother who had brought in their infant daughter. They had an appointment but it was their first visit and waited at the counter to check in rather than use the kiosk. nobody works the counter. After about 20 minutes one of the staff told them to use the kiosk but by then their appointment time had passed and they got moved to stand by. At this point I arrived to also sit on standby. The staff refused to talk to them, help them, or address the problem since they "didn't have an appointment". just walked around them and wouldn't respond to them at all. I gave up waiting a half hour before they closed and left with them still hoping to be seen at some point but the lobby was full of people "with appointments" so no way they got seen at all.
