Also, the guy in the Dodge charger believe it was blue lost all my respect couldn't help me out so I had to go to the one in Medford and they took care of it all the Medford location on the other hand Has good people in there. Never will I ever go back to this location the care was terrible. Better Business Bureau should actually investigate into their business, especially at that location. The Patchogue Location is horrible. Had an emergency and had to get blood work done right away and was unable to make an appointment. Without an appointment they make you wait for ever. There can only be two people in the waiting room and you can wait an hour. I see people leave and you are still waiting for them to come out. It is like they wait for the next appointment to come in so they can get them before the people waiting. This is the only facility that is like this. read more

Years ago I would have given 1 star. Service used to be terrible. The last 3 times I went they were amazing and kind. My 3 year old son has special needs. He is afraid of doctors and when I mentioned that is why he was crying the technician offered to take off the lab coat to make him more comfortable. How amazing is that? The time before the other technician was so helpful in getting me the correct items for the tests I needed and explained everything to me with patience. Finally a place I can go to. read more

I'll save you some time, just don't come here. I arrived with two people ahead of me, nobody from the office up front, and a lone iPad to check in with. After checking in, the person in first was called. "This is going to be quick" I thought! Around 30 minutes later and lots of complaining from the number two person who's name disappeared from the screen, they take her in. 20 minutes later (total of 50 minutes waiting) my name is called. Annoyed with the wait, I still tried to think, maybe they'll be fine! After all, it's just drawing blood. And this is where they fell to a one star. The woman who helped me looked miserable and didn't say much, and after finishing up two vials said ok you're good to go. In my boredom in the waiting room I had looked at my prescription and said oh, no urinalysis? She said no but slowly walked over to the computer. "Oops, there is urine and I have to take another vial of blood" .... Uhhhhh ok. So she takes it from my right arm, then puts a DIFFERENT bandage on it than my left. Left was a bandaid, right was masking tape? Tells me to pee and bring it back, which I do but the room is empty. As I'm standing there pee in hand I hear her say to another patient, go into room 2. I was in room 2. So I put it down, pass the new patient coming in and asked if I can leave that on the desk, to which she tells me again that yes I'm all set. Shitty wait time is one thing, but when I have to tell the person to double check what tests I'm getting for a physical, my trust level drops to zero. This review is for the company in general, no a specific location. As a patient it is impossible to contact the local branch & speak to a human being. After going through 2 separate telephone numbers & multiple automated menus my call call was finally answered by a human who wanted to know the purpose of just why I had to talk to my local branch (I wanted to know if my Drs ofc faxed over the paperwork so I didn't make a trip for nothing - which has happened before). After being placed on hold she said she'd transfer the call... WAIT... can I have the # in case the call is disconnected?? NO. So the call goes through & the lab tech at the local branch is dealing with some pedatric emergency & asks me to call back & hangs up, Nice patient services! read more

I brought a prescription to the Patchogue, NY office on 1/11 for multiple tests. Two days later I saw online that one test was done with nothing pending for the other tests. I couldn't reach the local office by phone since there was no number. I called the national 800 number. They said that they received no other test orders. I said there was no doubt that there were other tests that I gave them. They couldn't do anything or reach the local office. After calling multiple times they said a local manager would call me back in a few minutes. He has never called. This was repeated multiple times. The doctor's office also called them and confirmed that tests were missing. They told me that the doctors office could add tests by calling but the doctor said that they couldn't when they called. I eventually went back to the office and thay confirmed the problem. They had me repeat the test and the additional tests were ordered on 1/13 from the original prescriptions. Other labs allow the patient to call the local office. They apparently do what is most convenient for them.. read more

I wish I could subtract stars. The Patchogue office on North ocean avenue was a disaster. The tech "Deb" was extremely rude, she literally was slamming the keyboard because I didn't have an appointment and chastised me for about three minutes for not making one. Then proceeded to fix her radio for five minutes before speaking to me again. Then wiped my arm w alcohol and stuck the needle in the adjacent vein which was not wiped at all. When I told her she didn't wioe that vein she again complained that I didn't know what I was talking about. I've been a medical asst for 14 years and now I am an RN. This woman was impossible. As I left I said "have a better day". Her response was " next time make an appointment ". It took all the patience and benefit of the doubt not to use every curse in my vocabulary to just walk out. This review is specifically for the Patchogue office. the women in the office were rude to my wife when she made her appointment on the automated system it made it for the same day before the call how is that even possible. when she showed up for her appointment the woman very rudely said this appointment was for yesterday. my wife then very calmly said how could I have made an appointment for yesterday before I even called in to the system. they then proceeded to tell her that she would have to wait. my wife and I waited for well over an hour. there has to be a better way to treat patients. if you can avoid this place at all costs they are rude and unprofessional. read more

For some reason my previous review was deleted. This is for your patchogue location on Sills Rd. I have made several complaints; starting with the lack of Employees. I didn't know you had to make an appointment via internet, so after receiving my referral I walked to the next building (building 8) and waited and waited. Nobody at the desks, several Patients waiting to be seen. Than out comes a disgruntled (to say the least) woman (employee) rudely asked what I wanted. I shrugged it off and explained that I needed to make an appointment. Without saying a word, she handed me a card and walked away. You know what they say about first impressions, right? Well that should have been my clue as to how this was going to go. So I finally realized I had to make an appointment online, fine. Made the appointment and arrived 15-20mins early just to make sure there was no issues. Walked in and saw I had to sign in via iPad/tablet (I'm sorry). And wait to be called. First question, when has technology taken over people's jobs? Did I miss that memo? Because I don't know about you, but I feel much better working with a live person than a computer. What happens if the server is down? Would they actually know what to do? Probably not! So I took a seat. The gentleman that was seated to my right, was waiting for over an hour to be seen. When he got up and asked how much longer he would have to wait. So get this, the woman said 'oh we don't have an appointment for you.' To which he replied, 'I made one several days ago and even took a screenshot of it because every single time I'm forced to come here there is always somehow a problem.' Now because of this, this man was late getting back to work. Another point to actually have people working in the office taking appointments instead of trusting a computer. But that would mean, hiring people and paying them. So than comes my appointment. 'Lynn Anne' actually seemed pleasant (at first). Making some small talk here and there, but after a minute or so, her attitude changed drastically. I don't know if she received an upsetting text (which she was checking every other minute), or what. Maybe I was somehow the problem? I don't know. So than she tells me that I pay in the same room when I'm done. I said 'ok but my mother has my payment. I'll go get her?' She looked at me as if I had two heads and said 'yea.' Very snarky. (It was taking all I had to not argue and bitch back). So we come back in and she gets ready to take my blood. Ok fine. (Now I'm currently in school for Medical Assistant and maybe I didn't get up to this just yet but: I had to have 9 different tests done with my blood, but she takes 13 viles? It doesn't add up. Again maybe that's what happens, I don't know). After every vile is filled she throws it into the basket, like she's a freakin basketball player. So than, thankfully we're done. Not only does she yank the needle from my arm. But still has a huge attitude problem. Instead of saying anything, I just wanted to get the hell out of there. I was fasting for 12hrs and was starving (never mind the almost hour wait in the waiting area). So without explaining, off the bat, she expects me to just hand over the card. Has her hand out and everything. So my mom asks what she's paying. (A pretty reasonable question I would think). So Lynn Anne, makes a huge disgruntled sigh. Like she's pissed off at such a horrible question. My mom gave her a look like 'are you f***ing serious? To which I laughed. So she goes into it saying 'oh well the insurance has to pay $1380 and whatever they don't pick up, you have to. But it'll only be up to $100.' Now that makes no sense to me or my mother. But with Ms Priss here being on her high horse, my mom gavs her the card. So she could see what was on the screen and what she maybe paying for, my mom was next to her and she was 'explaining'. The bitch than nearly walks into her, looks at her and doesn't even say 'excuse me'. The lack of patient care and information received/explained is atrocious. If possible NEVER USE THEIR OFFICES! THE STAFF IS RIDICULOUSLY RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL! In regards to the computers bit- I'm also 26yrs old and I consider myself Tech-Savy, but in no way is this right! Taking away peoples jobs and replacing them with computers that have glitches and things! This is ridiculous! Maybe just maybe, they'll actually do something about the staff. Maybe like workshops on proper patient etiquette. I don't know. I would've loved to make a formal complaint to someone in the office, but low and behold, nobody except more Patients, were there. Today I took my daughter to do some blood tests at the office that is located in East Patchogue, the person who took her blood sample was very kind but she does not know and they have not taught her to do her job well, the chair where she took the exam to my daughter was full of blood but we did not look it until finished taking the samples, but I thought it was my daughter's blood, but when we left there I checked it and saw that she did not have blood and I put hand sanitizer on it but in the house I removed the gauze that was put on her and she had almost no blood which means that the blood of the chair was not from her, we returned to the laboratory and what they told me was "I'm sorry, take your daughter to the doctor so they will leave other exams" and when I said that could be hepatitis or HIV and that by their carelessness they may have ruined my daughter's life who is only 13 years old they only told me "I'm sorry" and I asked why they doesn't took a sample from that blood for the chair and she told me "they can do that because they only take samples and then they send to a laboratory" I think that was a very stupid answer, we can't trust in that laboratory, STAY AWAY FROM THIS LABORATORY! read more
