Great location, I arrived at 1:30pm and no one was waiting sonIngot lucky. I found the lady at the front a bit rude; not even a hello or good afternoon. She was even yelling and when my name was called I got up slowly since she was in the phone, well she seemed to be getting more upset. I basically set her straight for yelling at me and being rude. I didn't not leave because I needed the lab work and didn't feel like driving to Hialeah or any other place. In all fairness, they had a rough day and the lady working the window was still waiting to be released to go to lunch. Not an excuse, but I somehow understand the dynamics here. I came and registered as walk ins my 2 kids which were fasting. I got in the walk in list and one hour later, they said that no walk ins will be accepted and deleted my kids name from the screen. They just asked me to book another appointment. This people are just lazy, lazy, lazy. They lady spent 20 minutes explaining to upset customers how come after waiting they had to leave than what could have taken to take the blood samples. I had an 11:20 appointment today. Arrived at 10:30. 11:20 came and went. I had to leave by 11:50 for another appointment. I was there for a simple blood draw, would have taken 5-8 minutes tops. My name was at the top of the list at 11:45. I kindly asked how much longer it would be and was blown off in Spanish (I spoke English). I had to leave to make my next appointment. They ran 40 minutes behind. That's unacceptable when you know the staff you need for the appointments that day several days ahead. (Morning appointments were all gone 3 days ago). Made an appt for tomorrow at another location. read more

My experience with Quest today 2/23/24, located at the 2600 NW 87th Ave, was just the worst one. I did a Walk-in, arrived at 10 AM and waited for 3 hours. I was tired of waiting that long and asked the nurse or receptionist when it will be my turn to be helped with my blood lab. She said, they are still working on the people with an appointment and they have no time to help the Walk-ins. To me that is just ridiculous. When you cannot help walk- ins just let the people know and we don't have to waste our valuable time. read more

Quite frankly this is the worst location ever. Please, do yourself a huge favor and go elsewhere, or even another lab place that isn't Quest. Every time I've gone, I've had to wait long lines to be seen. Staff is always in another world, and I strongly feel they are understaffed. The place is messy, chaotic, just terrible customer service from every person there. I called customer service TWICE before heading over there to make sure they accepted lab orders from outside the states and they reassured me it was fine as long as the recipe was not expired. After waiting nearly 2 hours, I get to the counter and the lady could not do it. She could not even tell me a real explanation. I called customer service in front of her on speaker, they gave me the same exact info, and she STILL was clueless. I ended up loosing 2 hours of my life here for nothing. Very incompetent staff. I have an appt for 12pm. I showed up at 8:30 to see if I can be seen earlier since I am unable to drink or eat since the night before. The lady checked me in and told me I would have to wait a little. After waiting 2 hours 45 minutes, the lady told me I would have to wait for my appt time. This place has no regard towards clients. While I was waiting; they took 5 people in right away without appts. Many people were complaining. They have a sign accepting "walk-ins" however they are telling people no walk-ins allowed. The phlebotomist did not speak a lick of English. Usually that's fine, that's my people bro, I wanted to give her the benefit of the doubt to still do the job right...She drew blood for only three requested tests out of eight. My primary doctor was just as confused as me. The doctor attempted to call this location to figure out why they didn't draw blood for all eight lab test requests...Can't get an answer from anyone. The left doesn't seem to know what the right is doing at this location, avoid at all costs. Best to seek another location. Won't be coming back. read more

I have visited other Quest Diagnostic center across United States - back in Illinois and Virginia, but this place in Doral, Florida was the most badly managed Center I have ever visited. I checked In early morning at 7:15 and there were just 3 person infront on me. Hence, as time passed and more people checked in as WalkIn I was being pushed back even more in the queue. When asked I was told - there were people coming for DropOff hence the system puts them ahead in the queue. Well - I can tell, not all where there for Specimen dropOff already collected but many of them where actually getting the bottle then and collecting the sample in the facility. In the meanwhile I also asked them that my blood work prescription is a paper one and if they can put me in - to save time. But they said, they are going to put the docs in, when they will bring me in. At 8:02 AM I was asked to come in - and for what, just to take my prescription and put me for another queue (this meet was just to put my prescription in, which they could have done just earlier when I reached them out about). At this point, she (the nurse) just printed few labels and prepped a file and again put me in a shelv of queue. I waited again for good 25 mins at this point again, while I saw people who came way after me - getting in to get their blood work done. I asked them also - why people are getting in who came way after me and to my surprise they simply told - they were on Appointment (which clearly they were not, since I saw they showing on list as WalkIng and not Appointment) - these peoples were allowed to cut lines here. Something was really going wrong here - people at the back-end where fiddling with the system with new peoples known to them walking in and talking them that they are here. The facility needs to understand - these are chains of Diagnostic center with a Brand value to carry. They can't be so unprofessional, unethical and follow bad practises. I am assuming there are cameras installed in the facility and there are supervisors/ Facility managers - who are looking over these issues to streamline thing, making it good for everyone. If they are low on Staff based on the work load they get, a Supervisor must be able track those and accordingly schedule. However, I think it was more related to how they were handling the customer. read more

I was told by my doctor's office to simply find any Quest and walk in. I called Quest and confirmed that no appointment was needed, but rather told to just "walk in." I wish they would have taken the time to tell me how the walk in system works because I just waited for an hour and 45 minutes for a blood draw. If you are unfortunate enough to have people with appointments ahead of you, which seems to be the norm at this location, be prepared to wait hours to be seen. The staff member I dealt with was nice, but I will never visit a Quest again. Its much easier to go to my PCP and have blood drawn. To add insult to injury there is a tv monitor in the waiting room that is supposed to give you an estimate on how much longer the wait is. When I checked in, my wait time was 47 minutes. An hour later, my wait time went up to 50 minutes. Go figure. This place was very inefficient. read more

The Service is terrible and the staff doesn't even speak English. I understand this is just a place to get blood drawn and samples taken but this is the must unprofessional group I have ever dealt with. They won't speak to you or acknowledge when you come to the window even for a simple question, they just direct you to sign in on the iPad and wait. Don't come here!!! Wait time with or without appointment exceeds an hour. The office personnel call out your full name and discuss payment information so loudly everyone in the waiting room can hear. Came for a Zika testing and the agent asked me to pay $131 in advance. NO other lab (including other Quest locations) have ever charged me this considering I have insurance and I'm 5 months pregnant working in an area where Zika is known to exist. First and last time I come here... while the location may be convenient the aggravation isn't worth it. I'm telling all of my pregnant friends and anyone known that may need lab services not come here!! read more

I checked in by texted once I arrived and I had the option to wait in the car and I would be notified by text once they were ready for me. 45 mins later and I was NEVER notified. Amazing. Walk ins available. Get here 6-7 and you get right in. The ladies were so fantastic with our special case. They were all so kind and understanding and that says a lot! Don't forget your Rx from your Dr. though. They can't do their job without one. read more

Do not go here without an appointment!! They will estimate it is a 20-30 min wait which will end up being at least 90 mins or more. Came right when they opened, screen said 25 min wait. Turned out to be 2 hours. Will find a doctor that still does lab work. Find another clinic if you can. On the positive side the staff I dealt with was professional and pleasant. Bad Experience. Very rude staff, I took my daughter for a breath test and they treated her badly because she didn't do the test right. DON'T COME HERE!!!! Rude staff!! Front test and medical assistant? My mother recently found out that she has cancer, came in to your office, the lady at the front desk was very rude and condescending. Unfortunately, she was also the person who withdrew blood samples from my mother, she was pulling her arm as if she was a ragdoll, poking and missing her vains purposefuly. When my mother asked her to please be gentle and slow down, she answerd "have you seen the waiting room? This happens every time my coworker goes out to lunch." My family and I are beyond upset about the treatment my mother received at this location, my mother is a very soft spoken person who treats everyone with the outmost respect. My mother did not deserve this treatment, she is sick and at the mercy of horrible individuals like this woman who should not be allowed to hold her position serving others, it's unbelievable the lack of professionalism and the uncaring actions taken by staff member Mrs Fernandez. read more

Great experience! I got there at 1130 and was seen at 1135! The place was empty but the service was great, the receptionist greeted me and did the paperwork extremely fast. The lady who did the blood work was hands down one of the best blood work I've ever had done, didn't even feel the needle going in. It's also very clean which is always a plus. I arrived a little late for my appointment and was told as a result I would now be considered a "walk-in." So instead of being seen relatively quickly I had to wait for 1.5 hours. Once my name was called I was informed that despite having and appointment AND a script from my doctor that Quest Labs would not be able to do a blood draw to accompany the 24 hour urine collecting I had brought with me. Per my insurance provider the test had to be done through Quest, but per Quest the "24 hour urine collection kit" was manufactured by a different company than the one they use so despite my having collected urine for 24 hours I would have to start the whole process over using the new kit they provide. The kit I was provided came with it's own preservatives, tube in which the urine sample was supposed to be poured AND a box with a FEDEX label printed with which to mail the sample to the lab. As a result, I wasted nearly 2 hours sitting at Quest Labs and ultimately did not get a blood draw at all, the urine sample I collected was discarded and the tests requested by my doctor was not done. IF Quest Labs requires the use of their own 24 hour urine collection kit that should have been told to me weeks ago when I pre-booked my appointment. IF they require a kit from a specific lab that should be stated on Quest Lab's website. Despite my doctor needing a 24 hour urine collection and the corresponding blood draw I will not be providing either as I have no intention of redoing the 24 hour collection in a different jug due to their error. TOTALLY UNPROFESSIONAL. TOTAL WASTE OF TIME. DO NOT USE THIS POORLY RUN LAB - EVER!!!!! read more

Drive to another location, even if you have to drive past this one to get to another one. I walked in to this location in Doral, and there were a few people waiting. I asked the receptionist a question that should be common for a person working the front desk in one of these facilities. "How long should I expect to wait as a walk-in?". Well, clearly customer service and professionalism is not in her vocabulary. She rolled her eyes, shook her head and stated, that everyone here is a walk in. I informed her that her reply does not answer my original question and she huffed and just walked away. As she walked away I told her I would come back later and to try and enjoy the rest of her day. I don't know what her problem was but it isn't worth dealing with this type of slug when there are so many other offices out there. You have been warned! read more
