All of the workers here should be fired and replaced. If you have any other option for somewhere to go I would highly recommend going there. They have cancelled my appointment because they were running behind at the end of the day and just denied taking my blood as well. If you have any other options, avoid Quest and this location. It is impossible to get any help here. There are no workers available for questions. If you make an appointment there's no way to talk to anyone to ensure that they can actually do what you need. There is only an iPad for check in. You cannot call, the phone system does not work despite there being prompts for additional help. The location is not convenient. There is plenty of parking but the waiting room is dark and smells bad unfortunately. read more

This place is extremely rude and unprofessional. I will NEVER have any service done at this location. I had an appt and was there before my appt time. I was called after my appt time. I am suffering from a disability and was unable to get up from my seat quickly and when I got to the door no one was there. When you are called the staff do not even look at the waiting room. The wall obscures the view so you can't see them, and they don't even check the waiting room. I could've been in a wheelchair, or crutches. I told another employee and older guy that someone had just called my name and he said he would let them know. The same girl with braids calls another patient and I asked if she just called me and she said yes but we have to keep moving if there's no response. I explained that I am unable to get up quickly, and she didn't care at all. The patient she called offered to wait since it wasn't her appt time yet, but the employee insisted she can no longer take me, and I would have to wait after already being there an hour. I was highly disappointed with this employee and this facility. Disgusting patient care and I also saw her speak to an elderly woman disrespectfully when all she was asking if she would be called soon because it was past her appt time. Quest needs to address these complaints and hold their employees accountable. They are a reflection of your business. read more

Went there today for doctor ordered blood work. I've had a few bad experiences with giving blood and needed multiple sticks. This trip was super easy. I did have an appointment I made on line and they got me right in. Very friendly and competent nurse (or whatever they are called) got all the blood she needed. Quick and painless and I was out in probably ten minutes from start to finish. Wish I had asked her name but she was very nice looking with long eyelashes and fingernails. Kept good conversation going throughout the process which helps keep your mind off of the needle!!! read more

Checked in at the kiosk and was given an appointment time 2.5 hours later. Returned 10 minutes before that appointment time and the kiosk lost my appointment so ended up waiting an additional 1.5 hours. Very poor system and no staff to address the issues at the site. read more

I visited this facility because the convenient one on Olive Blvd. is now closed, no reason given. After a live advisor on the quest help line (that took a long time to reach) set up an appointment for me I arrived for the tests and had to use a kiosk to check in with no staff available for questions. When called into a tech's space she demanded paper orders without checking the computer for orders I had verified two days before had been sent to the computer system by a Mercy doctor. I asked for the computer to be checked. After a cursory look, tech claimed it wasn't there. I insisted in frustration that they look again. She refused and took objection to my attitude and ordered me to leave. I finally found another person to answer my questions and got only a vague "orders don't always get to us" and addressed my attitude rather than the problem. I finally got out of her that orders could be faxed. When I went to the lobby area to make a call (again) to my doctor, there was no fax number anywhere to be seen. Another patient, apparently having the same problem shared a business card with the fax number on it. I had my doctor resend, but the facility said they did not want to serve me. So I went back to Mercy hospital where my appointment for 7:40 AM from earlier got lost in their system largely due I think to poor instructions on Quest website as to how to verify it. Once back at Mercy, the Quest people there were able to book me in as a walk-in and I only had to wait 15 min. to be seen and low and behold, the orders were in their computer, right where they were supposed to be. All of this took 3 and a half hours for a 5 minute visit. The Boone Crossing facility is not offering good service and may have wider problem with their computer access to the main Quest server. I won't go back. Quest could do a much better job with instructions on their website as to how to make and confirm appointments. It is not user friendly at all, especially for older patients who are accustomed to the old walk-in system and friendly service of the now closed facility. I write this at the recommendation of my doctor who agreed that the web site did not do the job, especially for his senior patients. The Mercy hospital Quest Staff in contrast was very patient and helpful and provided the required service with a smile. read more

I drove all the way out to return a sample and they closed early. I checked hours beforehand and arrived 15 mins before close. WTH Seriously unprofessional. I knocked on the door and could hear people in there and they never answered. their National customer service center closes a hour earlier than their location and there was no option to call the location and be connected to a person. I had to have a drug screen for my nursing program and we have to use quest diagnostics. I will be a senior this year so this is my third time to have this test. When I came for my appointment at 9:15,unfortunately I could not use the restroom so I was rudely told I had to wait a half hour and try again. It's currently 10:30 and I'm still waiting! Meanwhile my mom who brought me to this appointment was told she was unable to wait with me! What?! Again, I have had to have previous drug screens and never have I been told that no one could wait with me! I will certainly never use this facility again! read more

I've made two appointments at this location. Used the mobile check in, says I'm good to go. Walk up to the door and it says the computers are down both times. When you ask them why do you send out numerous email/texts about your up coming appt, all the way up to 15 min prior to the appt when you know your closed? The comment I got back was that is generated at corporate. I asked them has anyone notified corporate that they were closed? I got this blank stare as if that was a foreign concept... I followed up with hey have you turned off the computer system off and turned it back on yet... that too was followed up with a blank stare. At least that question deserved one. Absolutely horrible. The person drawing my blood was nice enough, but complained about everything. She attempted to draw from my left arm and as soon as one tube was filled, she told me that the needle was defective and she pretty much ripped it out of my arm. Then she had to draw from my right arm and I've never had a blood draw hurt..... Or bruise..... EVER. She definitely got into the vein and when she was finished, she just yanked the needle out! 5 days later and it's still so bruised but the lump is finally gone! read more

Made an appointment online and received an email confirmation with QR code. Registered for appointment with QR code upon arrival and instantly received text that I would get another text when it was my turn. After waiting 30 minutes, I asked the status of my appointment and was told I didn't have one. Despite the proof of appointment I received via email and text, along with the orders I had with me that proved my doctor faxed them in, they refused to see me. I do not recommend this location at all. They were very rude. Not only that, they were releasing other patient names when telling me who had appointments at the same time as me as if trying to prove I didn't have one. Talk about a HIPAA violation. read more

They say if you make an appointment you will be expedited. I have been here for 23 minutes past my appointment time, and they have taken 4 walk ins ahead of me. This location didn't run one of my lab test and I had to go back and redo one. I called quest to have them email me my test results. And then "They emailed me someone else's test results" Major privacy violations. I called the person from the test results I got and told them quest "messed up big time" They sent me your test results and not mine!! so They called quest and they denied doing it. So I called quest and said I got the wrong test results and then they asked who's results I got so I told quest and they went on to tell me to "delete my email and shred everything in my recycling bin" to cover it up. Yes a coverup!!! I said no!! because I have been in contact with the persons test results I got and I was told by them not to delete them until they tell me too. I believe They will be holding someone accountable for the privacy violations!!! read more

I could not believe any lab would have a 1 or 2 rating because every lab we used before was excellent. The Chesterfield Quest lab is the worst. I made an appointment and scanned the QR code when I arrived. It acknowledged my appointment and told me to wait in the waiting room. I noticed I was the only one in the room. (I now understand why) I could hear loud, foul and vulgar talking inside the lab. I waited 15 minutes (still the only patient in the room) and got up and knocked on the door. I was greeted with a worker saying she was not notified I was there, as if it were my fault. I am a professional and business owner and would have terminated, any employee on the spot if they used the language I was subjected to hear. I will also let my doctors know to NOT to refer patients to Quest in Chesterfield. I suspect all the 1 star reviews are very accurate. Do not use this lab under any circumstances. read more

I was very unhappy with my latest experience at Quest. In March I went in for a fasting blood draw. I had two lab slips, one from my Endocrine MD and one from my Internist. The phlebotomist was instantly abrupt and rude. She brought me to the blood draw room and while smacking her gum mumbled something which I could not understand. I said "pardon?", she barked at me to sit in the blood draw chair. She then walked out of the room for several minutes without saying anything. Obviously aggravated at something me? co worker? I had no clue. She returned to the room and went directly to the computer screen and was entering my blood draw orders. Another phlebotomist was walking down the hallway and she shouted for him to "get over here! Look at all this garbage I have to enter over here!" He helped her out for a short time and left. Several more minuted go by with her shaking her head, mumbling and smacking her gum. At this point I seriously wanted to get out of the chair and ask for another phlebotomist. Unfortunately the place was getting busy and I had to go to work. Then she need a credit card co-payment. I pulled my card out and reached over to hand it to her. She barked "you need to BRING the card to me!". Easier said than done. I was in the blood draw chair with the armrest over me. She was a good 3-4 feet away. Thank God she was successful in drawing my blood. I was so upset driving home that I sent an e mail to Quest AND completed a survey detailing my experience with the phlebotomists and order number. I honestly believe this was blatant racism directed at me as a middle aged white woman. So disappointed that Quest never followed up with me regarding this matter. As a patient and healthcare worker, I will never return and will make it a point to direct friends, family and patients from choosing this office. read more

Went there last week about 9 am and got in right away. Make sure to set up an appointment ahead of time and have all your papers specifying the type of test from your Doctor. When you go inside just type in the appointment confirmation no. into the computer on the front counter then go in and have a seat. Gary took my sample. Very pleasant. Went to Quest at 6:45 this good morning so I would be there when they opened. Promptly at 7:00 am The doors opened and I was called first. Denise was professional, thoughtful, and kind when I told her that I struggle with fainting during blood tests. She distracted me during the stick and draw, and had me rest for a minute before standing. I didn't feel light headed or faint at all. She was so interesting and fun to talk to, I could have stayed another hour. read more
