I cannot say enough good things about Quest Diognostics on Ralph. I was able to easily book an appointment online for my tests. I arrived about 15 minutes early, checked in on my phone and was actually called in about 5 minutes early. The technician was a delightful, pleasant young lady who made me feel comfortable and was quick and efficient. She was very gentle and alleviated my any nerves I had. Bathrooms were large and clean. The waiting room is large and clean with 2 kiosks for check in as well. I've read some bad reviews about this place, but that was not my experience at all. Should I need tests in the future I would definitely go to Quest! read more

I was having blood work done in the back room. The technician attempted to draw my blood, but it was slow, so she decided to remove the needle. She wanted a second opinion on a vein, so she called in another technician to take a look. Just as this new technician was about to start again, a short heavy set lady entered the doorway, yelling and screaming. She criticized the girls, saying that if they didn't know how to perform their jobs, they should go home and learn. I found her behavior to be extremely unprofessional. I have never witnessed such a disrespectful outburst in whats supposed to be a professional setting ! . While I was not upset about the young lady having to stick me again . Let me start out by saying that yes I messed up, I had my sons appt time wrong, he was scheduled for 4pm and for some reason I thought it was at 4:30 so we got there at 4:15. 15 minutes late! But because of Quests crazy 10-minute rule, they took him out of the system and it said we had to either reschedule or be a walk-in. Well, the rude ladies at this location refused to take him as a walk-in. And yes, they 100% could have. It wasn't crowded and they had like 4 or 5 workers there. They just did not want to! We were already there waiting, it would've taken what, 5 minutes to bring him in the back and do it? Instead they told us we had to reschedule. Zero compassion, zero heart, 100% laziness. This place is the worst! Terrible customer service! What is the point of going to the trouble to schedule an appointment online or via phone, if when you arrive everyone signs a book and are called in order of arrival regardless if one has scheduled an appointment?! I waited over an hour to even be called, and when I asked when I may be called, the surly person just mentioned, "did you sign the book? You have to wait". I am tempted to change my insurance just so I will not have to deal with such professionalism! When I was finally called in, I was finally delayed as the technician had to call Quest because she did not know how to enter the codes for the blood tests I was taking. Additionally, the cup I was given for my urine specimen was way to small, plus I had to pour it from that into a test tube which would be sent for analysis. Really?! Seriously, this place is full of Non professional, lazy and untrained people. Unfortunately, I had to take my son back to this lab for blood work again after one month but had WORST experience. This time the manager of this location was also involved who was just backing up his Unprofessional and rude employee. I left a review a month ago hoping the management of Quest will do something to fix the ongoing issues which patients are having with this location RIDICULOUS staff but they didnt do ANYTHING. WORST LOCATION, WORST AND UNTRAINEF PEOPLE, WORST SERVICE. AFTET MORE THAN ONE HOUR OF WAITING, THE STAFF PETSON WITH THE NAME OF MOGIE told us she couldn't find vain. If you dont know how to take a blood for 2 years, why dont you leave this job and let someone else has the opportunity to work there? Great visit. I brought my 9 year old in for a blood test. Nurses Kareen and Nafica were nice and caring. I was a little hesitant about my visit because of some negative reviews I saw on here, but figured how bad could it be? I made the appointment on-line about 2 hours prior, and when I got here I signed in on the self service kiosk by scanning my code. The wait wasn't long at all. Look no one loves coming here. The people that work here aren't going to greet you all smiles and happy faces. It's a lab where they draw blood from people who have ailments and drug tests. It's as cheerful as the dmv. Give the staff a break! The ladies are nice, the waits are fairly short for a laboratory (under an hour) this isn't dominos. It's not walk in and walk out in 10 minutes or less. Facility has parking and a tv that has sound in the waiting room. Bring a book, iPhone, heck write a review. Occupy your time while waiting and it'll be over before you know it. read more

This place needs a new selection of staff who are trained properly. I recently checked in while in my car prior to my appointment which was at 12:30pm in October (social distancing). I recieved a text at 12:42pm requesting that I come inside. So, I follow the instructions and go inside. When I arrive the untrained young woman yells, NO, YOUR LATE GO TO THE BACK OF THE LINE. To my surprise she was talking to me. There was no greeting of "Good afternoon" out of her mouth or even a hello. I refused to entertain the nonsense but I sure did ask her to repeat because I just recieved the text that your office sent me. I then speak to the "manager" (also unprofessional) who tells me she called me several times and sent a text. First of all, she never called my phone and that text came in at 12:42pm it's now 12:44pm with the time you took to come and talk to me with your rude self. I had to show her the text which took her another half a min to comprehend. I get seen but not before the mumbling that I was late and telling me to sign in then saying oh you can't sign in. For the record I wasn't late you never dialed my number but yes you texted me and I came right inside. 0 stars for the poor customer service, the blame game and manners. The wait time is not a problem but the staff are unprofessional. I went in for different testing and for urine analysis. The technician that I was with did not use a needle that was in a new wrapper but instead one from his desk! I've been calling customer service about these practices but have not been able to get in contact with a representative. Will never be going to this establishment again! read more

The tech named MOGI is a total rude person. I said hello she said not a word besides do not touch my door. She said a few things I couldn't understand she said ma'am you don't listen I said excuse me you have a bad attitude and I didn't understand what you were saying. she said oh really I speak better English than you.. then she continue to fight me ontop of my toddler while my other child is in the chair waiting to get her blood drawn. My toddler starts to cry and I asked for her name and let her know I too was a health care provider. You will be getting a call from NYC of health ma'am . Sat in the crowded waiting area and left after 30 mins without a single employee cooing to the front to call the next client. Go some place else people. You'll be there all day. DO NOT GET YOUR DRUG TEST DONE HERE!!!!! The people are rude! They don't follow the order that people come in the establishment. I waited almost two hours for a urine drug test while people who came in after me kept passing in front of me. The girl who did my test did not follow the correct procedure. I failed the test and have never done drugs in my life and it cost me a job! Some elderly patients who had hearing problems got yelled at while I was in the waiting room. Go take your tests elsewhere!!! They will screw you over and they are rude and incompetent!! read more

Customer service is very lack luster. But clearly they are after the mighty dollar because there is an appt system that they utilize from online and over the phone, however it is a first come first serve type of establishment. Which can be a gift and a curse all at the same time. This type of clinic environment is not really my cup of tea in the first place however being that i need it the place isn't that bad. Make sure you come with your belly full and some sort of activity to do. What saved the rating is that there is a parking lot and the location seems pretty clean. read more

i just came back home after being at quest. the reception was wonderful. various staff members came from the back office an greeted the patients in a very friendly manner. i felt very comfy in the office. there is no receptionist because you sign in on a little computer. they are moving in the right direction in terms of new ideas to do things. thinking out of the box. karen a member of their staff was extremely friendly and made us feel good. so as far as we are concerned please go to the ralph avenue office. peace and love. smile and the whole world will smile with you. read more
