Didn't have the best experience at this Quest site -- it's my first and probably last time going to this location. For one, they are tucked inside a small medical facility in the middle of a neighborhood in Anaheim Hills. I felt a bit lost until I pulled into the parking lot. Since it was still early in the morning, plenty of parking was available. Wandering for a little bit, I found their facility. It was kind of eerie because no one was inside the waiting area. I had made an appointment prior to getting there, so I was the only name that flashed on the waiting room screen. Trigger Warning: blood draw details I was called within a couple minutes and looked forward to my quick blood draw. Unfortunately this is when it took a turn. The phlebotomist taking my blood was NOT good. She felt around the crook of my right arm while chatting away with me, stuck the needle and couldn't get blood to come out. She proceeds to move the needle around. Ouch. Then she feels my left arm and asks if I was hydrated (I thought I was). She then quickly gives up and says she's going to take blood from my hand. Let me tell you, NOT a fun experience and it is more painful to get blood drawn from there. For a phlebotomist this should be the absolute last place you check and she didn't even try more than once on my arms. Though I did receive friendly customer service, it was not the quality painless experience I've gotten at other Quest sites. Please be warned for next time you get labs done here.

I've been to this Labcorp location twice now and although I don't enjoy getting my blood drawn, I no longer have a sense of complete dread because both of the phlebotomists here are VERY good at what they do! Even with my small veins that dive for cover, they have found them and been able to poke them on the first try without having to "dig" ( just the thought of digging for my veins makes me queasy ) The technicians are friendly, professional, confident, and excellent at what they do. As a patient, I believed I was booking the correct service. Because of this, I spent money on Uber, lost time, and had to return the next day. I also don't understand why I couldn't be accommodated when I was already there before 3:00 p.m. and a urine drug screen is a relatively quick test. Even if it wasn't possible, I would appreciate clearer scheduling instructions so other patients don't experience the same issue. I was talking with Lily but even then i had asked her to squeeze me in at 2:55pm, she said they're not able to and i have to come back for a courtesy appointment the next day. I'm extremely upset with this situation. I've been going twice in the same clinic achieving nothing overall!

This was one of the most disappointing experiences I've ever had at an urgent care…read more I had been dealing with shingles for a little over six days and had been prescribed Valtrex beforehand. I woke up from a fever nap with significant ear pain, redness, and small lumps around my ear, which was concerning to me because I was worried the infection may have involved my ear. That was the primary reason I decided to visit urgent care. The nurse was professional and completed the usual intake, including taking my blood pressure and asking basic questions. Unfortunately, my experience with the physician was very different. When the doctor came in, he asked why I was there. I explained that I had shingles and that my main concern was the new ear pain and soreness. He asked me to lift my shirt to look at the rash and simply responded, "Yup, good ole shingles." He did not ask when my symptoms had started, how they had progressed, or many of the other questions I would have expected during an evaluation. When I specifically brought up my ear pain, his response was simply, "Unrelated." I was then given a packet of recommendations and a prescription for the generic version of the medication I was already taking. The doctor did not take the time to explain the recommendations or discuss why prescribing essentially the same medication was necessary. I also explained that I had been bedridden for approximately four days because of my symptoms, but I did not feel that this was meaningfully addressed. I asked for a doctor's note for the days of work I had missed. The doctor said he could provide one, but only beginning on the date of my visit. I understood that limitation. I then asked for his medical opinion regarding when it would be appropriate for me to return to work. His response was essentially, "You tell me when you want to go back." That was extremely frustrating. As the medical professional evaluating me, I was looking to him for guidance about when it would be medically appropriate and safe for me to return to work. I paid $165 out of pocket for this visit. I left feeling like I had received very little information or guidance for the money I had spent, and I was still concerned about the ear pain that had prompted me to seek care in the first place. What made the situation even more frustrating was that the written information I was given specifically stated to seek medical attention right away if experiencing ear pain or ringing in the ear. This directly conflicted with what I had been told during the appointment--that my ear pain was "unrelated." I understand that urgent care visits can be brief and that physicians are busy. However, I expected at minimum to have my primary concerns properly evaluated, to have my questions answered, and to receive some guidance regarding what symptoms I should monitor and when I should seek additional care. I ultimately left the clinic more concerned than when I arrived and am now considering going to another urgent care to have my ear properly evaluated. Since I am paying out of pocket, having to pay for another visit is especially frustrating. The icing on the cake was I had to go to the Ralph's located in the same plaza since I've been bedridden. seeing the doctor walk into the same Ralph's a minute after me reassured he seemed to rush me out just so he could take a lunch. I can only speak to my own experience, and perhaps other providers at this location offer a different level of care. However, based on my experience with this particular visit, I was extremely disappointed and would not return to this provider.

She is truly one of the sweetest, kindest, and most patient human beings I have ever met. I've always been afraid of needles, but somehow Claire has a way of making something I dread feel calm, comfortable, and even enjoyable. Her gentle nature, warm smile, and genuine compassion immediately put me at ease. She doesn't just draw blood--she cares for people. Healthcare can be intimidating, but Claire reminds you that kindness is one of the best forms of medicine. She treats every patient with respect, empathy, and such a positive attitude that you leave feeling better than when you walked in. Thank you, Claire, for the incredible work you do every single day. You make people's lives better in ways you probably don't even realize. Your compassion brings comfort during vulnerable moments, and people like you are the reason so many of us feel safe. The techs have consistently been friendly, cool, and professional, and check-in is super easy whether through the app or the self-service kiosk. Their waiting area is not bad, it's clean and bright but it does get uber busy at times - so I hope you have an appointment. My personal take - I've learned with ANY lab (Labcorp, Quest, etc.), making an appointment well ahead of time is the real MVP, fortunately, I have not experienced them f'ing up my appointment but it seems they do with some patients. Maybe approach someone in the front desk and kindly bring this up to their attention? It can save you and others from unnecessary frustration, long waits, and the urge to dramatically rethink your entire life in the waiting room LOL. On occasions that you unfortunately you got a same day rush lab order - walking in can be traumatic but miracles do happen like when I walked in at 2:45 PM one time with literally 3-4 people in there or check the app and drive miles away for a location with an availability... or be like Job... we can all practice a bit of patience in a world where everything is in a rush. Cheers!
