We stopped in Dalhart for the night and looked for a good coffee place to fill our travel mugs. BONUS! Purpose Coffee is in the back of an AMAZING gift shop (where I found a birthday gift for my sister). The coffee is delicious! My husband got a great mocha and I got the grind of the day, black. Terrific coffee! Don't miss this place! It's right on the highway at the corner of Maple street.

I was making the drive from Denver to Dallas and, in definite need of a caffeine boost, searched Yelp for a decent cup of coffee. I came across this gem and am SO glad I did! The coffee is *excellent* (and I'm a snob about my brew) and I loved that it was a supporting a great cause as well. I made sure to stop in again on my way back up to Denver, and both times had great coffee and such friendly staff. My new halfway pit stop! (I'm also headed online to pick up their cold brew beans, since they didn't have any in store and it sounds too good not to try )

This place is in the back of this cutest little boutique. I placed the order online and it was ready 5-10min later. Tried the earl-y morning winter special latte...let me tell you!!!! Try this latte! Amazing! All of the syrups are house made! Fantastic shop for a quick stop on a long drive. Oh and the cups and lids are super nice! Like some of the nicest I've come across. read more

I just had to stop in Dalhart for the night passing through. I popped into this little coffee shop which is in the middle of the pear tree gift shop. A very sweet young lady makes one mean breve latte! I was there too early for the gift shop to be open but she was kind enough to let me purchase something for my granddaughter. Cute shop and good coffee, worth the stop. read more

Tucked in the corner of a lovely décor boutique, Purpose Coffee offered delicious iced and hot espresso drinks. Since it was 92 outside, we all went iced! My fellow travelers had the Mounds, coconut and chocolate syrup with espresso. Mine was the Black & White, featuring dark and white chocolate syrups. To top it all off, they offer a selection of milks including oat and almond. The young lady who served as our barista could not have been nicer . Trust me, if your missing your usual iced coffee while you're driving through the Panhandle, you should stop here on Purpose!!! read more

Wow! What a gem in Dalhart, TX! Had to make a stop for gas and noticed the coffee shop nearby so we decided to give it a try and I have to say we weren't disappointed! The coffee was AMAZING, the barista was super friendly and it was in a great little shop which was also fun to peruse! Highly recommend Purpose Coffee! read more

This is a cute shop with pretty good coffee. I had the Golden Days, which was delicious. The woman working the bar was so kind and helpful, even refilling our water bottles for us. A great place to stop on a road trip. read more

This place is so amazing! The coffee tastes so good and they have fun drinks. Also everything they have to sell in there is so cute and the building itself is a place where you will want to hangout forever. The idea behind the place is the best part-- they give away all their proceeds and have given away tens of thousands of dollars in multiple different countries to humanitarian aid. The owners are amazing and so kind. Overall would absolutely recommend! read more

What a hidden gem! I'm a coffee snob and this is some of the best coffee I've ever had. My husband had a regular drip coffee and I had a cappuccino. Both were delicious. The coffee was smooth and richly flavored. They currently only have drive through service due to COVID. read more

COFFEE is my jam and Purpose knows it's coffee! Stopped here on a recent trip from Texas to Denver and was so sorry it's so far away from me. Delicious coffee, great business vision, and nice staff. Since there will be more trips through this little town I will be stopping again. Can't wait to try the nitro since they were out when I stopped this time. read more

We were traveling from Amarillo to Colorado spring and found this coffee place on the way, The best of the best for coffee --relaxing in a atmosphere of sophistication, cozy and cute place,the staff(she) was more than amazing - stop by very clean and nice place, everyone was wearing mask. We were traveling from red river New Mexico and I needed to have a quiet place to have a client where there was Internet. This coffee shop was so clean, perfect, and had smooth coffee. I also bought a pound to take home. What really stands out is that all profits from the sale of the coffee products to support charities like preventing human trafficking. They also sell candles and T-shirt's and other unique gifts. I gotta be honest. I literally thought it was a mirage in the middle of this quiet town in Northwest Texas to find such a luxury coffee shop. read more

The coffee's better than average, which for a convenience store, translates to great. They have several flavor options for iced tea, and there are enough pumps, spaced out nicely, that you shouldn't have tons of wait time even when there's heavy traffic. It can be a little tricky pulling through with an RV or a trailer, but it's not horrible.
