The Long Version: When I first learned about The Tortilla Maker, they only sold plain tortillas for you to take home and make your own meals and also salsa. I wasn't particularly interested. However, I discovered that they recently started selling ready-to-eat tacos and also premade tamales. So I went to check it out. I got 3 tacos: chicken, beef and pork. They were $3.25 each. If you buy 3 tacos you get a free mini salad. I also got 2 tamales: chicken and pork. They were $6.25 each. The tacos were small but tasty. I put some of the shredded cabbage with tomatoes in the tacos, as well as the green salsa that the tacos came with. I enjoyed the tacos and would get them again. The tamales were ok, but a bit small and I feel the tacos are more bang for my buck. Service was pleasant and courteous. The store is spacious, well lit and clean. I liked that the man serving me wore gloves and a hairnet. The store is in the same building as a medical clinic that does ultrasounds and other diagnostic tests.
