Wow, fantastic dinner! I've been seeking the best Birria tacos for over a year since my grandson turned me on to them. I have good and not so good in hunt. The grandson recommended Queso Loco so we tried it. Definitely not disappointed. There were three main birria options, the birria quesadillas, birria tacos, and quesabirria tacos. I had the quesobirria tacos and the wife had the Barria quesadillas. Both were spot on delicious. I enjoyed the taco version better because they were like tiny quesadillas that were crispy all over. The consommé was flavorful and not at all greasy. The wife refuses to dip her food into a broth and make it mushy, but she tried it and was enjoying that consommé on the remaining bites. The service was fast and friendly. It started to get crowded but we never felt rushed. The place is decorated well with vibrant Hispanic motive. I can't forget the chicken quesadilla that the daughter had. She said it was also full of chicken, cheese, and goodness. We live nearby so Queso Loco will be our go to spot. read more

When we are looking for some goooood Mexican food, Queso Loco usually pops up in our conversation. The staff was a little preoccupied with the huge amount of Togo orders, but we got our order taken and delivered in a really good time. Got the Chios & Queso. That queso was really good. I haven't tried it before. So creamy and the bacon in it adds a good touch. I got the Quesadilla with Chorizo. Wow... that chorizo is soooo good. It was crumbled chorizo and it was a little crispy from being cooked on the flat top. I love that crispyness to it, just like on a good corned beef hash. The quesadilla was packed with meats, veggies and cheese. I wish I got a picture of the cheese being gooey when I pulled it apart. My husband got the nachos with chicken. The fresh sliced jalapeño's were not spicy (after we took the seeds out) and it was packed with flavor. I mean this place ... their tacos are incredible . I haven't even tried anything else because the tacos are good. This time I got a shrimp taco with the cheese as well as pastor and a quesabirria. The birria is so good here. The food came out quickly and honestly the prices are not bad if you just come to eat. If you drink your soft drink is almost as much as a taco. So maybe stick to water. I like this location better than the Altamonte one because it was busy. I wish they weee playing sports on the TVs instead of "the bee movie" but that's okay! The rice & beans were good. The elotes come in a good size for $6. Service: we got there early but they kept an eye on our food to ensure to hand it to us once done. They were nice. Ambiance: they have indoor and outdoor seating. They have nice decor inside. Last time I ate there, they don't offer free tap water. Not sure if it has changed and main reason why we did an order to go. They do have an app now that does rewards so I might be going back more often for lunch. The staff were really friendly and the service was so quick. And the food? Still amazing. I tried both the Birria tacos and a street taco to get to try a couple of things. Both were great quality and good portions! I will say, I think the street taco was my favorite of the two! The meat was flavored so well and it was exactly what I wanted from a street taco. This is my favorite fast service taco spot. I completely forgot to take food pics because we're were so hungry lol. The quesa birria tacos are so good. The consommé is so flavorful. I usually get a mix of chicken and steak tacos. All the ingredients are very fresh and cooked to order. They queso dip is also very flavorful and has bacon in it and jalapeños for a little kick. Inside is decorated and fun vibes with alcoholic beverages and some claw machines for the kids. The have daily specials on food and drinks and lunch specials that are a great deal. I've ordered tacos from this restaurant several times on Tuesdays because it's only $2 dollars per taco after 3pm. It's a great value for your money since the tacos are tasty. I've had my Mexican coworker try it and he said the tortillas are authentic. I've had my Jamaican coworker try it and she said that they seasoned their steak very well compared to other places she's ordered tacos from. Also, they ARE NOT stingy with their meat. Even though it was half full, there are lots of to go orders so our order took some time and came in increments. We got chips and Guacamole as an appetizer - it seems like they make their own chips and the Guacamole was excellent, good texture and flavor. We got the esquites, and it was so cheesy and rich that the chips were necessary. FYI on the menu, when it says chips with esquite, it means cheetos or such that I think you can add on top? Not tortilla chips. Watermelon Aqua Fresca was sweet and we asked for chamoy/tajin that comes on the rim of the cup. It was a little too sweet for me. Finally, tacos. I got the pastor street taco which had good flavor but came cold - I think it was prepared first and waiting. The quesabirria tacos tasted good for the first bite or so but the meat was on the dry side. My favorite was the shrimp queso taco (only different from street is adding cheese), which had the shrimp tenderly cooked. All came with lime and a green hot sauce. I ordered via Uber Eats. The app advised me to call the restaurant with any allergies. Immediately upon ordering, I called the restaurant 4 times. They ignored the first 3 and took the phone off the hook for the 4th. I immediately cancelled my order since I can't eat corn tortillas, and I was still charged the full amount.
