Simple one page dead-on menu and they did advertise on using local and fresh ingredients, so yay for that. We got one of the family boxes (serves 4) for $65 with the options of grilled or fried as well as sides of salad or chips. Opted for the deep fried tempura style, and boy I did not regret this at all! All hail to the platting, it arrives in a huge basket and beautifully presented! The calamari was definitely the highlight of the dish, uber tender and flavorful! The fish and potato hotcakes were delicious as well. Humble and friendly service, price point might be a little steep, but for a memorable dining experience in a gorgeous setting, I would be back in a heart beat!

Time, temperature and technique dictate the difference between soggy/greasy and crispy/light. They have mastered the process and the results are evident in their products. This was particularly noticeable upon eating a piece of fried flake that my son couldn't finish approximately 2 hours after he'd ordered it. The batter was still crunchy and light, which is something I've rarely encountered with fried food. They also act a fish monger, selling fresh seafood at a reasonable price. Additionally they just relocated to a larger shop, and added a noodle bar. As far as the noodles go I've only had the hokkien mee so far as I figured it would be a good baseline and I'm pleased to report it was very good. This is my go-to fish and chips in Chelsea and I'm hoping it becomes my go-to noodle joint too.

When I said they didn't need to do that, and I was very happy to pay, they smiled and said the owner/manager would not let them take our money and apologized again. Excellent meal, fish was very light and tasty and fresh. Chips were just right. Best fish and chips I've had on the peninsula, and they went above and beyond in terms of service.
