Established in 1976.
Situated in a small rural town amid farmers' fields and gravel quarries, the company immediately became a specialist in off-road service. They offered service to farm equipment and heavy machinery, whether on the road or on the customer's premises and soon became known for fast, efficient service. Vito is dedicated to serving his customers and being the best in his field. In a small town like Acton, a man's word is as genuine as his handshake and that's how Vito worked. He quickly gained recognition and a reputation for good work at a fair price.
As the community and surrounding area grew, so did Queen's Tire. From everyday basic needs for the family minivan to the ultimate low-profile tire for the sports car, Vito had it covered. Vito has become a pillar in the foundation on which this community was built, many customers are on a first name basis, and many would consider Vito a friend. They have been counting on Queen's Tire for almost 30 years, and they have not been disappointed.
Meet the Business Owner: Vito M.
Vito Manchisi, the proud owner, and originator of Queens Tire immigrated to Canada from a small town in Italy when he was only 16 years of age. The first years were full of challenges as he had to adapt not only to a new culture, so different from his own but he also had to learn a new language. After many years of hard work in a variety of different industries, Vito finally found his niche in the Tire Industry.
I guess you could say that he was officially "Gum Dipped".
His experience in the tire industry dates back over 35 years. The knowledge he gained was "hands-on", repairing and servicing large truck tires while working for a major transportation and trucking company in Halton Hills. After years of working extremely hard for the same company, an opportunity arose to purchase a piece of property in the small bedroom community of Acton, Ontario. The inherent entrepreneur in him decided this was his chance to build his own business and create a secure future for him and his family.
