I am looking for a foot massage for my tired feet today and saw their led light sign written…read more$10/hour. I guess can give it a try. We are 2 persons, after we seated on the chair they came with a pail of warm water to soak our feet. The masseuse told us that the charge is $10 per hour and tips is minimum $15! Okay fine, that is a little more than I expected. I don't mind if I can get a good service and soothe my pain. AMBIENCE - Do not expect a good and relax one. There is no music and the chair is old. Actually I sat on a tear PU leather chair. MASSEUSES - Too much talking to co workers side by side. And the strength and skill is not what I am expected. And, I don't think it is the right way to massage my right feet twice and left feet once ?! For my knowledge it had to be balance both side right.. so, please time yourself for about 15 mins x 2 for each side, be professional.. CLEANLINESS - Big towel was old and the shelf beside me was dusty. Overall so so, I don't think I will go back, I want a proper massage and relaxing place.

(Set an alarm when you go there) When we asked them why it was not an hour long they said soaking our feet took away 5mins!!!!!!!!! Absurd! That still didnt equal an hour! Then they force you to pay $20 tip on top of that!!! I was with my mother and was ready to walk out when they grabbed my mother's arm violently demanding that we pay tip!!!!! They are lucky i did not call the cops! The place is nasty. It is so filthy. The massage chairs are so dirty and every one of them is torn with holes and very worn out. Also, when they were done with the massage, they re-folded the towels they just used on our feet and placed them back onto the rack with the other "clean" towels!!! Horrible! I would not recommend this place to anyone!!!!!!!!!

I am writing this review with a heavy heart and a deep sense of urgency to warn other families. My…read moregrandmother has been a resident since April 2025, and our experience has deteriorated into what I can only describe as a nightmare. For months, we have raised concerns about her care. She has repeatedly expressed feeling mistreated by staff. We would often find her with a completely full diaper and swollen legs. When we pointed out small, unexplained marks on her body, staff routinely dismissed them as "old skin that bruises easily," showing no curiosity or concern. Most alarmingly, my grandmother has stated multiple times that she is scared of one particular nurse. My mother witnessed this nurse handling her roughly and responding to simple requests for assistance with a clear and unprofessional attitude. Our concerns about this individual were clearly not taken seriously. The situation reached a critical point this week. We last visited on Wednesday, December 3rd, 2025, and she was fine. When we saw her today, December 6th, she was covered in injuries: a black eye, a busted lip, scratches on her neck and arm, a bump on her head, and widespread bruises. She is complaining of head and wrist pain. This did not happen gradually. The facility's response was utterly unacceptable. No one had reported any incident to us. The on-site manager, Mr. Kumar, claimed to know nothing about it, despite being present over the preceding days. He appeared careless and dismissive of the severity of the situation. We had to forcefully press the issue to even get the name of the Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) assigned to her during this period--the same CNA my grandmother fears, identified as Kimberly "Monique" (last name illegible, as Mr. Kumar only scribbled it). When we insisted on immediate medical attention, the facility prioritized their internal paperwork over my grandmother's well-being, causing a dangerous delay. We ultimately had to call 911 ourselves to get her to the hospital. This is not just "bad care." This represents a systemic failure in supervision, accountability, and basic human dignity. Clear signs of potential neglect and a resident's expressed fear of a staff member were ignored, culminating in a shocking and unexplained physical trauma. BEWARE of this facility. Until they demonstrate a complete overhaul in management, staff training, transparency, and accountability, I cannot in good conscience recommend them to anyone. Our family is now pursuing all available avenues to ensure this is investigated fully. We will update this review as we learn more from medical professionals and authorities.

My 87 year old mother was there as a short term resident (approximately 6 weeks) after a hospital stay. The nursing staff on the 4th floor was responsive and the nursing supervisor Chris, in particular, was so kind to my mom. Other staff on the 4th floor were also kind, which I observed during my visits with my mom. The volunteers, the admissions staff (in particular, Cory) and Ms. Park, the head of Social Services were also really great. I did not have any issues with being able to visit my mom. My mom left there in much better shape than when she entered and I'm so thankful for that result. I can't give 5 stars because I learned after my mom left the facility that they wake up residents at 4am to take blood or other samples if they need lab tests. Apparently the reason for that is to gather samples for when the lab opens. That was the only negative thing my mom had to say about Union Plaza.

Dr. Rances is an expert at what he does. I have yet to leave his offices feeling less than heard and much better than when I went in. He does the majority of his services onsite, so if you need an epidural it can be done quickly and with minimal fuss. Friendly staff and handy communication methods like text messaging that drop into real people so you can get a real response, make the new office a pleasure to go to. I'm the worst kind of patient. I have a little knowledge and push for things. This can be problematic for the doctor as I often come in knowing what I want. While Dr. Rances does not always give me what I want (because what I want is the wrong thing) he does always do what is needed to make me feel better. Take any of your pain issues to him and he will find a way through. He will get you moving to the best of your ability. Just put the work in and you'll get much better, very quickly.

When I tell you he is the REAL DEAL, please believe me. On my first visit, Dr. Gao asked me to point to where I was feeling the tingling sensation and by the time I stood up and walked around, it was gone! Before seeing Dr. Gao, I went to 3 other acupuncturists and their treatments did nothing for me. I was in really bad shape when I saw him -- emotionally, physically and mentally. As much as I despise needles, I looked forward to our sessions because they made me feel noticeably more energized, helped with my balance tremendously (one of the areas the stroke affected) as well as with my circulation. It's been three years and after being in and out of hospitals due to the stroke, and experimenting with various modalities, Dr. Gao, hands down, is the specialist I give the most credit to, as far as my "miraculous" physical recovery is concerned. I'll also add that eating mainly fruit and vegetables, played a primary role. He's also a really good human being.

I highly recommend Dr Gao and his assistant with great confidence that they are going to serve you too. I have been using their services for about 3 months, a couple of times each week. I needed help with my extreme fatigue, hypothyroidism and low testosterone with decreased sex drive and some depression (all symptoms of so called "adrenal fatigue"). My regular doctors couldn't do much, besides prescribing blood test and hormonal replacements meds. Now, after almost a year of struggling and being scared about the future, my hormone indicators are all back to great! Also: I am experiencing constant improvements in my energy and stamina as well as mood and mental health/sharpness, week after week after week. I have had a few acupuncturists before but never ever (at all) I received the same insightful *experiential* healing I had with these guys. The center in Flushing has a very basic appearance and it doesn't deliver at all the look and feel of a spa or "healing center" (other than the piano music always in the background which I personally love), but don't get fooled by that: magic happens there! Try and see for yourself.
