Me and the husband decided to get an indian take away as a treat, but we have found the ones locally aren't up to much. I scoured the net and kept finding Queens Spice getting good reviews so we decided to take the 20 mile round trip to grab our dinner as it was a lovely night and the dogs could have a swim too.
The service is fantastic, the little quirk that they give you an orange and a banana in your takeaway bag too is really nice. We drooled all the way home from the aroma coming from the bag on the floor. My husband is very particular about Indian food, he likes it to be as authentic as possible. The food we got was fantastic, could not fault it at all, the rich herby aroma that assaults you when you open the rice is proof that they use the finest ingredients. I had the korma, and I have had good ones and bad ones in my time, this one was off the scale, so coconutty and creamy with big juicy chunks of chicken tikka. The husband got a sweet and sour curry, sorry I have forgotten the name by now.. He devoured it and kept praising it, which for him is pretty amazing! Their prices are average of Indian take aways around West Lothian but I would gladly pay the extra in milage to go there for the food. It really is a gem. The only downside is parking.. :) 5 Stars read more
