I came in for a haircut after coloring my hair. I did call a few places prior and some did not have any availability. When I called here, the lady was very nice and said no appointment needed. So I showed up and was assisted by Connie. Connie was very informative regarding my hair and complimented the color. I wasn't too excited with the color (I colored my hair, myself, at home). Her compliment made my evening. She told me how to care my hair, she also showed me different products they sell. I LOVE the fact that she wasn't pushy on trying to sell more to make more. First of all, I love the location. There's a lot of coffee spots and lunch spots, conveniently located near the salon. If you ever need to make an appointment and have to wait a little while and you have some time to kill, there's something to do. The salon itself is clean and organized. The salon is in a great area. Grabbing a bite to eat or a coffee or smoothie is easy with all the nice nearby cafes. I was greeted quickly and my stylist was ready for me. I had Connie and she's awesome! Very friendly and easy to talk to. I didn't know what I wanted to do with my hair. I knew it needed coloring and cutting. Beware, this place is a turn and burn chop shop. I went in today because I needed a trim and style. I start work at a new job tomorrow and broke my arm a couple days ago. I was desperate for help with my hair for my new job. I went in explained my situation and I left in a worse position than I came in. This is by far the worst cut of my life. They cut almost 10 inches off, I can't even pull my hair back. My hair is extremely curly, with it straight it barely touches my shoulders, and I wear it curly. I paid for a blow out... it was like a 5 year old blow dried my hair. It wasn't a blow out at all, and I was charged for an extra long blow out when they chopped my hair so short it barely touches my shoulder. Please save yourself the time and money and go somewhere else. If I could give it zero or negative stars I would. read more

I just went to this salon for the first time. I have a regular hair dresser whom I had to cancel on and she was booked up for several weeks and I needed my hair colored asap. I called on Friday and Queena got me on the schedule on Sunday and she offered to do my roots and highlights. She did an amazing job! She was really kind and so was her staff. I can tell she loves what she does and that she does it well. I don't know if I could ever leave my regular hair person because I've been loyal to her for 10 plus years, but in case I need color again and cannot see my hairdresser, I would see Queena again. After paying way too much for color kinda brushed it off and said to myself well It came out OKAY but after a few washes notice that my hair was turning orange really brassy after a few days and I had allot of damaged hair. I called on a Sunday and I believe the owner just told me to come in right now lol I waited about 5 minutes and I got seated with the hair stylist Mary. She was easygoing and gave me what I wanted (which was about 2-3" off plus fringe clean up). It was no frills or extra add ons for a total of $20 + tip. Was told this salon does hair cuts for toddlers. The guy nearly stabbed me with his scissors trying to cut my toddler's hair and seemed like he didn't have the patience.
