I am a newer customer to Couture Salon. I've been coming for about a year now and I love it. Gabby does a great job on my haircut. I recommend it to everyone that comments about my hair. Well. I'm in tears. My hair was long, and getting to a good healthy stage just needed a trim. We agreed on an inch, and she cut 3-4 inches instead. I am heartbroken as I have been trying to grow my hair long for a long time now. And worst thing is nothing can fix it. Never again. I got an ombré dye and hair cut in layers. I believe it's the owner who worked on my hair and did an amazing job. I've had bad ombres before so I was worried and I'm picky but she did awesome job I love it . She was also very friendly ! read more

The waiting area was nice and clean. I asked for a simple trim and bangs. I said I didn't want the bangs to be too long or too thick. The bangs came out thicker than I wanted them to. The hairdresser was friendly but she didn't listen. They charged me $50 for the haircut. Overall the cut was not worth the price. Also I didn't like that the hairdresser wasn't paying attention to me when she cut my hair. She left a couple of times while cutting my hair. read more

Came in for a haircut and the hairstylist was so eager to sell me multiple service. She asked if i wanted to add color and i said no because I am so anti-coloring my hair! She was pushy and said that maybe we should add some shine so I said okay but before I knew it my hair was being tinted! I felt so bad because Gabby was nice but I told her i was anti-hair coloring but since she was eager to add services to my visit she still added a tint to my hair with the supposed "shiner". After i told her i didnt want color she washed of the tint and got shampoo suds into my ear various times. She was even aggressive with her metal round brush when blow drying my hair. She was not very gentle and tinted my hair when I had already told her i was against using dye on my hair! She was so quick that my hair cut is also uneven. My bangs are horrible and short! I recently went in to Couture salon for the second time for a haircut. After being in college for several months, my hair was extremely long and was in desperate need for a trim. I had gone to Jasmine before and requested her once again, remembering that she did a good job. I walked in with expectations of cutting off about 4 inches, considering my hair was about at my waist. I showed Jasmine a picture of Shenae Grimes, indicating that I wanted my hair right above my bra line. She assured me that it was a good haircut and took me to wash. As she was conditioning my hair I made it very clear that I needed my hair to still be long enough for me to wear it in a bun or in a pony tail because I am a college student that does not always have time to do her hair in the morning. I also have naturally wavy/curly hair that is extremely hard to manage if it is short, so I expressed my need for the length to be accurate. She sat me down in the chair and said, "Here we go!" and snipped a good nine inches off the back of my head. At that point, there was no going back. I showed her the picture at least five times and told her to stop cutting length, so she repeated that she was not cutting for length but for texture. She had all of my hair in the back so I truly could not see what was going on until she spun me around and I saw that I had a long bob haircut, 3-4 inches shorter than I asked. She said that it was the new trend for short hair and that all of the celebrities were doing it. I still am unsure as to whether or not she just decided that she wanted to give someone a bob haircut that day or if she truly was challenged when it came to the basic ruler system, but she has just doomed me for two to three months as I try and recover from this hack job. Not only has she taken away my ability to put my hair up at all, she has taken away a part of me that I rely on for self esteem and confidence. Jasmine, as lovely as you are, LEARN HOW TO RESPECT PEOPLES REQUESTS! When someone shows you a picture, there is no wiggle room. I am emotionally distraught, and I now have a lovely afro courtesy of this girls need to be creative with my hair. If you are still not convinced to stay away and decide that it's worth a shot, please do not make the mistake of not speaking up in time. Make sure to have a close friend nearby to tell the girl to STOP! And most of all, if you are just looking for a trim, maybe go somewhere else that will not be inclined to replicate the newest celebrity hairstyle on your head. read more

We love Jazmin!!! We all go to her because she does such an amazing job!!! I personally receive so many compliments after visiting her. The very first comment made me laugh because "Madison" talks about Jazmin... I just think we are all different. Hair types and hairdresser techniques are all different. Don't expect to take in a Pinterest picture and come out looking like that person. Maybe she should've visited a surgeon not a hairdresser if she was expecting a miracle. Jazmin is one of the best stylists I have ever known, and I've known a lot! She will take great care of you and she doesn't charge "an arm and a leg" like a lot of other stylists in Ventura County.
