First time stopping into this nail salon to fix my attempts at nail dip and gel polish. First, I asked for removal and fresh nail dip set to protect my own nails. Asking for a French tip style using nail dip, waited for a tech that could provide that level of skill. Shaun was so gentle soaking and removing the nail stop I tried myself. I have been getting my nails done since 2011. After sitting down it was quickly obvious that the tech had terrible technique and kept asking questions of the tech behind him. He drilled my skin multiple times, got polish remover on my phone and didn't seem to know how to do dip polish on natural nails in general. I made it thru 90% of the service before asking for someone to assist. One nail was bleeding. Polish was all over the skin surrounding the nails. The manager/owner attempted to fix the mess without acknowledging that there was any issue. She said this "could be normal." The skin around the nailbed was sensitive and her solution was to try to pick it away....then tried using the drill (on my skin) It all was painful. I told her to stop and that I was done. She cured it and charged me $54. I paid it but asked her how she could let someone leave looking like this. PLUS THEY CHARGED FULL PRICE! Fast but fast because they didn't take the time to use the dremel. Left me with raised edges around my cuticles from the polish and it looks awful and it HURTS. He was hurting me trying to use a nail file on my cuticles... yep, a big wooden nail file. I asked him to use the dremel and he said he couldn't. I went to them for the 3rd or 4th time now due to my nails actually lasting. My nails never last me two weeks or almost two weeks, but going there they do. I drive a good half hour, maybe a little longer depending on traffic due to the quality of the nails/work/experience. I went there yesterday, 1/6/24, and asked for a nail color that I noticed another client of theirs that seemed like a regular was getting, and it looked beautiful when they were done. The nail tech won't say her name, but you know who you are had my nails looking like one of those candy cane colored green mints. I honestly thought they were going to look like the other women's nails. So, I waited until the nail tech did all 10, then she put the other color over them the way the other nail tech did the clients that seemed like a regular. NOPE, WAS I WRONG. looked horrible, not even close to the same thing. I did not like them. The nail tech proceeded to tell me due to my nail length, the design choice would not work? Huh, no. Bad. She proceeded to aggressively take the color off all the nails and then ask what color I wanted. I said all black because at that point, I was disgusted. First of all why, why. It looked nothing like the photo, if you knew you could not do it don't act like you knew how. I would of understood up front. But to be rude and then I even left a tip, that I shouldn't of because I was not satisfied with the service. The nail tech ended up walking away after I came back from washing my hands and I had to pay the women who was working the register. LIKE VERY IMMATURE. You wouldn't have business or make money if people/clients didn't come to your establishment, so why treat them poorly? Some people just don't care. I likely won't be going back. I must moved back to the area after living in Tampa for 17 years. we happen to be going for a Starbucks and decided to get pedicures. We, is my daughter and I. We opted for gel, when my pedi was done, I could see pools of polish at the cuticles, polish on the sides, top, etc on like 4 toes. I called her back over and she clipped the excess off with the nippers., I thought, eh, lesson learned, then I went to check out.... $78.00. for the $45.00 pedi, at bottom of the menu it states, "Gel is $20.00 extra" I have never paid that much for a pedi, ever, & never been charged an extra $20.00 for gel or ever had such a poor looking pedi. Let me start off by saying the owner, Lee, along with his wife, try to provide good customer service; however, the ethic is not shown across the board with their employees and family members who work in the shop. Long story short, I went on Tuesday, 2/13/24, right before Valentine's Day, to have my nails soaked off. My usual nail tech (Ann) was coming out the door and went to Lee's new café up the street to get a drink. I went in and signed in. After realizing it was me, she called several times and spoke with a different person in the shop to tell her to tell me that she had left for the day; however, this was untrue, and she was right up the street. At this point, the lady is trying to get me to return, but I'm explaining that my nails are lifting and need to be soaked off. She agrees to remove my nails. I asked if she would put an overlay of gel on my nails, and she told me to return later in the week. At this point, she and Ann are on the phone. She was checking to see if I had left the shop because the shop continued to fill up with more clients. At this point, she gives me a whole story about how Ann is tired as she's the only one working because of the New Year; the other techs will return to the shop this week. So after she barely allowed my nails to soak, she began to file them off, destroying my natural nail bids and leaving clumps of acrylic on top, which I had to ask to be removed. I was so upset and frustrated. I was just ready to go at this point. Long story short. This is the worst experience, and it's devastating because I spend a lot of money on my fingers and toes. Really disappointed in this place. While the interior is beautiful, it is very dusty and dirty. 5 friends and myself went for pedicures. Not a single one of us was happy with our service and we were charged so much more than we expected to be. The basic pedi is $35, but then they charge $20 for gel. FYI gel is all they offer. . . Most of my toes have spots where they are missing top coat. It's probably stuck to the light she kept slamming down on my feet. Okay, so i just got home and i cannot stop looking at my nails. I wish i got the name of my nail technician because she was amazing. we had a good conversation the entire time ! She was gentle, and careful with her work. i love how she reshaped my nails because they looked like junk beforehand. she helped me pick my color and i'm so obsessed with it. So a friend and I went to this salon to get pedicures and had bad experiences. First, I had picked out my colors and the tech would not listen to me kept giving me snarky looks. She stabbed my toe and laughed, so rude!! My friend did not want gel color and they proceeded to tell her they could not do regular polish which was a ploy to get the extra $20 for gel. This was absolutely the worst experience ever today is Valentine's Day. I brought my daughter to treat her for a mom and daughter day. The lack of customer service from the entire staff was beyond unsettling. We couldn't decide who was treated worse my daughter, or I ,the technicians that did our nails were crude and uncaring would not even make eye contact with my daughter or myself. Awful experience. It took almost 2 hours to do a simple fill of acrylic. The tech practically took all my original set off because he said they were lifting although he had to work pretty hard to get them off so I'm pretty sure they were not in fact lifting. My fingers hurt for days after because he filed my skin. Then charged me almost $70 which is double what I've paid anywhere else. The Canfield queen nails is clean with brand new equipment. But ....... Listen to the other reviews and avoid this place. My nail tech was rude and made inappropriate comments. It's about the price of a good quality place ($54 for a gel pedicure), but the service I received was below satisfactory. I asked for my nails to be very square (cuticles, especially corners, pushed back and then polish applied straight down). Instead, a drill was used to remove some of the cuticle and the cuticle trimmers weren't used on all of my nails. He didn't clean under my nails. Then, I asked for my nails to be cut straight across. He cut them crookedly, and some have the corners longer and sticking out. For two nails, he went to cut them and ended up not, even though they were the same starting length as the others. I could see that they were too long but he already moved onto the next step, and since he didn't listen to my requests before I doubted he would then. My polish application didn't cover the sides of only parts of my nail, especially the tips, leaving my nails looking oddly shaped and crooked on my feet. On my big toe, the polish wasn't taken to the back corner and therefore has lifted, and now I have a big missing piece of the gel, and it's only been 5 days. I'm extremely dissatisfied. read more

I've given this place two tries. First time, for my bachelorette party. Extremely rude employees. My nails turned out like garbage. All my friends said I shouldn't have paid. Not only was the polish lumpy, the shape of my nails was also unacceptable. I figured maybe the person who did my nails that day was inexperienced so I decided to give Queen another try. If I could put 0 stars I would. I JUST got my nails done yesterday, I had to wait 2 hours just to get in to get them done. THEN he put regular polish on (because I don't like gel) I sat under the dryer for over 30 minutes because the polish wouldn't dry. I told them it wasnt drying, laughed and told me to sit under the fan some more. They checked them, said they were dry, I went home and went to bed, woke up with them totall smudged. I went here for years when the lovely young lady with twin boys took care of me. To my surprise she no longer worked there on my next visit. :( I went to another lady who did great the first several times but always seemed distracted by her phone. The last time she did my nails, she was on her phone for 30 minutes during my appt. I still gave it another chance and the owner did my nails next. He was on his personal phone several times during my appt. So unprofessional. He also missed so many spots on my cuticles. I have so much excess skin left. I used to go to Queen regularly and was never unhappy, but the last 2 visits there have been horrible. In March, I was assigned an older gentleman (seemed like someone's grampa in for a visit) who honestly seemed like he was just learning how to do nails. He hurt my feet, was very rough, and my pedicure came out with runs in the polish, and my manicure ended with the nails not symmetrical and the polish also unevenly applied. I gave them another chance in April for a pedicure only. The older woman who did it cut out a hang nail (which did not bother me before) and caused my large toe's nail to bleed and throb. She also scraped the bottom of my feet so hard I was squirming in my chair. I could not put on regular shoes for 3 days as my toe was so swollen after.
