'QM', as it is known, is a fantastic experience for an intelligent, teenage girl. OK, when I was there, all those years ago, half of the teachers didn't turn up for lessons, then there was that unfortunate incident with Mr. X and sixth former X. However, I'm reliably informed that this latter situation occurs in every secondary school, and - as for slack teachers - I know that's now a thing of the past (lucky us of the 90s who spent lessons chasing rats around the classroom!) Seriously, what a great place. High achieving academically, a place where you will make wonderful friends, and a place which willl generate many fond memories as you steadily approach your 40s (eeek). read more
