I totally disagree with comments from P2AJ. I have 2 children at the school and believe they are well taught. The School is a happy one, teachers are well motivated and it is well lead from the top. Yes some children are being tutored but this is often a problem created by overbearing parents who have too high expecttaions of their child's abilities. read more

Not entirely happy with the school. My children have been let down and there is irreparable damage.

I cannot agree with P2AJ or jsm18. Four Oaks Primary is moving from strength to strength. The school caters for pupils with all kinds of talents and some parents should just realise how lucky they are. There are many dedicated teachers at the school, in the infants and juniors, but this would be nothing without a strong and inspired team at the top. The Head and Deputy put their all into the school and give it the genuine 'family' feel that makes this school so special ! Maybe some people should look around a little and then they might realise what a good dealOthey're getting ! Long may Four Oaks thrive ! read more

I cannot agree with P2AJ's comments. From my experience the school environment is superb. The teachers are without exception extremely dedicated and the leadership team are brilliant! The support all 3 of my children have received at the school is outstanding. My eldest (now left) is a high achiver, but shy - the teachers provided a nurturing and safe place for him to grow. My youngest is the opposite - he is struggling through lack of ability. The school identified this and we've been working proactively with them to provide extra support which is now paying off. My other child is of average ability, yet the school has still found ways to make them feel special and develop. A school is more than just SAT results. Their scores are good (I think better than other state schools in the area). It is the other areas of learning such as building confidence, respect for others, sport, arts and having fun that Four Oaks excel in. read more

Four Oaks Primary is an excellent school, I am delighted that my children attend this school and have nothing but praise for the teaching staff. Some people would complain about being given free money or that there win on the lottery could have been bigger ....P2AJ is out of line with the opinions of all the other parents that I know. read more
