a hookah in the middle of a bar

Good Hookah.. I mean that's what you expect when going to a hookah spot right.. the flavor was kicking, last for pretty long which was a plus for me and my friends. Server was able to change the coals out without us asking him to. The music selection was great and had us enjoying the atmosphere even more. The neon lights are a lot but it's setting the vibe.

It's a nice and chill space to chill with friends. My partner and I were looking for a reasonable hookah spot to hang out. It is Black owned and the owner was polite and professional. I just need him to invest in some new furniture. The DJ was on fire and it was busy. The crowd was having a great time. No drama and everyone was much minding their business with the people they came with. The staff was very kind and professional. The hookah wasn't overpriced and very good. We got a refill with no problem or extra charge. We didn't feel rushed to leave (like other hookah spots tend to do). Again, I just need them to replace the damage, worn out furniture and replace the broken floor tiles. Other than that it was nothing but great vibes and wonderful customer service. I will be back again as it is a guaranteed good time!

Worst Hookah ever! Lasted 15 min then taste was burnt. Do not recommend it. The place smelled damp

On a freezing February day, my friend and I decided to stop at Queens and partake in some hookah. It was one of the few area hookah joints open at 3 on a Saturday afternoon. It was empty, except for the owner and his friends. We ordered the apple mint hookah and for two of us, it lasted at least two hours, and I believe the bill was just under $20. We also had the Egyptian tea, which is similar to chai, and it was great. Queens is low-key and kind of divey and I believe you can bring food in with you. But the hookah is strong, reasonably priced, and the owner, who talked with us for a while, is super friendly. It's not the fanciest place, but I had a good time and would return.

Not at all trendy, but the layout is a typical arabian nights style shisha joint. Low tables with equally low padded seating running the length of the walls. Friendly staff, although it is a little dingy in there. The bathrooms are a little nasty too, and doors are difficult to close properly. Perhaps when the place first opened it was decent, but I think they've let it go a bit. The smoking was acceptable. My biggest complaint is only that they don't accept credit cards, but they do have an ATM next to the front door.

Hookah is one of the best I've had. Good quality hookah flavors and it last for a long time. Service is not bad either.

The actual hookah was mid at best for D.C I was expecting a lot better. Then when it came to the bill we were charged $4 for each bottle (of which we were not even told there was a charge at all for water, and no we did not specifically ask for a sealed bottle all we asked for was water the sever never said tap or bottled, she just automatically brought us sealed) when on the menu they were priced at $3.50 sure it's .50 but when there was five that .50 extra could have almost bought another bottle. Also when she brought the bill she did not even show the itemized bill at first all she showed was the tip screen which upon doing the math from what we ordered vs paid we realized the amount was way higher than what we got and so we asked for the copy of the receipt only to find out there was ALREADY a service charge on there of which was NOT a credit card charge because we paid in cash and when asked what the cash total was she told us $60.31 yet the copy showed the cash price was $57.91 also they charge for charcoal, what am i suppose to do bring my own charcoal? i've never had to pay extra for charcoal they just include it with hookah price, absolutely ridiculous. Not to mention the vibes in this place is like an absolute funeral, all the pictures made this place look so fun and great, but no it was worse than funeral. I felt even more so like i was at a funeral after I realized how badly my wallet was robbed. I will never come back here.

Nomad offers no food just liquor and hookah. They also have cigars for sale but you're allowed to bring your own cigars. I had a Mango mint hookah which was considered to be one of their regular flavor options. The hookah was very flavorful and after about an hour - they changed the coals. The menu says that there's a 2 hour limit on the hookah. However my friend kept ordering drinks and therefore they didn't enforce that rule. You are allowed to bring food in and eat it as long as you're drinking. There are TVs inside and outside and there's music playing as well. Sure I've been plenty of times! But don't expect fancy or glamour.
