Good kolaches. Standard flavor combinations. Small shop for quick take out service. If you want a standard kolache this will do. You can tell these are mass produced jams because I just had the exact same at another very nearby establishment that just started to also sell kolaches. If they had standout dough and unique flavor combinations prepared with small batch jams instead of the wholesale mass produced jams with sweet and also some savory options like a cheesy spinach or like smoked salmon then it would get more stars.

I try to support my small local establishments. Any time I see a new pastry shop open, I try it to alleviate my fomo. I really wanted this establishment to meet even my lowest expectations, but it did not. The fruit kolaches are overpriced for what they are at $2.50 each. I could get similar results by spreading preserves on some store-bought bolio. I asked for two flavors of kolaches and one of the flavors was wrong. The lady working the counter was friendly and that's why I'm not giving this place one star. If the owner of the establishment is reading my review, please believe me when I tell you that you need to completely change your recipe and/or lower your prices if you want to still be open a year from now.

I checked out this newly opened Kolache House this week and boy... their Kolaches are a treat! I'd definitely come back again. The service was great too with a friendly lady working there.

Stopped by this local donut shop this morning. Their stuffs hit the spot. Service is great and friendly. Reasonable price donuts. Worth the money.

I got a dirty creme brulee milk tea with coconut milk, which costs a dollar more--and it was literally not much different then getting a glass of ice and pouring about 10 oz of lightly sweetened vanilla coconut milk over the ice, stick in a straw and call it a day. No additional flavor. For 8 bucks the (maybe?) 7 boba pearls at the bottom arent worth it. The salted cheese foam with the burnt sugar on top was the highlight; that was good but there was so little of it; its just an altogether stupid outrageous price for what it was. Outside of a coupon or a special, which i doubt these places really do all that much; i probably wont be back. There's happy lemon and a couple other Boba shops nearby that have to be better than something that isnt really different than reg grocery store coconut milk from the carton over ice..

The inside is clean for the most part besides the few games they have up front but glad they even offer that as an option. I got their secret menu crème brûlée strawberry milk which was alright and then my husband got their taro drink which was way too fake tasting for him. I would definitely come back with friends as there aren't any other choices nearby at least for now but when there are more places in the Hmart area in Haltom I may choose those over Feng cha.

While there, a lady came in with her mother, the owner of the establishment came out to greet her in a way a friend would greet another. When you're wanting something that feels genuine and from the heart, this will be a cafe I'd recommend. Everyone, knows someone, even if meeting as strangers over coffee or nibbles of sweet pastries. Heck, you can throw in some games to that, as well. As someone stated in a previous review, it seems as if everyone who works there, truly loves being there. It isn't a chore, it isn't about rushing to get to the next drink preparation, they're, there to make sure you have the best experience in the place they nurture for others to enjoy. I appreciate that. Blueberry Matcha: I'm a fan, but not a fan of matcha. To explain, not everyone knows how to balance the taste of matcha. It's either way too earthy/gritty or not sweet enough, it has been rare that someone knows how to balance that combination. I have never tried a blueberry matcha and was excited to see this was one of our options. This was superb. The blueberry wasn't in syrup form, it was a blueberry foam that added the perfect amount of flavor and sweetness. This is something I'd get again, and again. Too many people ruin matcha's with syrup that swims on the bottom, here, not even. Seasonal: White Chocolate Rose Scone I'll admit, I'm not a scone person. The scones I've tried in the past, were hard and flaky and that's what turned me away from there. But this scone was soft and moist, I truly enjoyed every bite. I am now open to trying others, but only at this cafe. Cheddar Chive Biscuit: My favorite. Well, my favorite is their Pepper Jack Jalapeno Biscuit, so this will be my second. I warmed it up and added a touch of butter, OOOHHWEEEE, it more than hit the spot. I can't wait to have one again. With this latest visit, I learned they alternate their biscuits monthly and they have calendars available to remind their patrons. There are several I'd love to try and thankfully, they're being served on my days off. This is such a beautiful establishment, that's inside and out.
