Que SeRaw SeRaw - SO happy to see the legendary staple of Broadway Burlingame returning! The healthiest food for longevity is BACK soon! - Vegan Near Me - Burlingame, California

I really, really wanted to like this place. One automatic BIG star for the fact that this place uses organic ingredients. Cant complain about the service either; the lady/owner was kind and allowed us to try small samples. The food: - Smoothie: Bland...I make really healthy and delicious smoothies at home and it's with the best ingredients. Healthy does not have to equal bland. It tasted more like pure almond milk than anything. - Burrito & Thai wraps: I'll simply lump these two together and say that again, the flavors were just not there. Flavors were underwhelming. Great mission (raw + healthy) but very lacking in execution. read more

Beautiful, clean, healthy food. Very special place. We've been enjoying this wonderful little place since they first opened. Can't wait to see the new location. read more

We enjoyed the pad Thai salad and the burrito. Service was wonderful - the staff is helpful and passionate about their craft. Nice seating area out front. Plenty of selections/variety. Highly recommend! read more

I found heaven off Broadway Ave! We had the Thai salad and poquito burrito, both of which were bursting with great flavor and fresh veggies. Capped off by one of their chocolate chip "cookie" bites.. perfection! On top of that, super friendly staff and (I assume) owner/chef. Please everyone come and support this amazing business! read more

Cute little place - it is small and there is no inside dining, but we enjoyed the small tables outside. Delicious, fresh-tasting food. We had the kale salad and the veggie burger. Friendly service - we also enjoyed the banana chocolate cookie bites. If we lived nearby, we would be regulars to this place. read more

I am not vegan/vegetarian but wanted to try something new. Very impressed by their flavors and prices were reasonable. Nori wrap is good.

False advertisement. Not all food is vegan. Some of the desserts are made with honey... I ordered and ate without knowing. It was all very delicious, so I looked online to see ingredients and saw that the cookies, cobbler, and truffles have honey They also stated on their website: "All of our food is vegan (except for a small amount of local, raw honey we use in some of our desserts and dressings) ..." The worker didn't even inform us when we ordered. I feel so baboozled. read more

Absolutely outstanding! I was looking for keto-friendly options on DoorDash and wanted to change up my usual restaurant routine. Was pleasantly surprised to find this place pop up! My favorites were the sunflower seed crackers, the Thai wrap, and the 24 karat truffles (which are basically a guilt free bite of carrot cake!). You can't go wrong though with anything you choose here, the quality and freshness is top notch! read more

Vegan food here! Small cafe. Menu changes each week and food pick up is generally Monday, Wednesday, or Friday. Must order online to sample the menu items. Upon pick up, you'll see your name on your take out bag in the fridge to the right once you enter. The chef greets you and if you ordered ahead, she reassures you that your food is in the fridge. I ordered kale salad with zesty dressing, cranberry and blueberry scones, and the chocolate mousse. The elegant salad of kale was lightly dressed in sweet taste but not too sweet.. it was just right. For the price of the scones, the size and indeed raw vegan, I probably will not order again. The chocolate mousse was Ah-MAZ-ING. Yet, again, quite pricey for the small portion. Vegans and Raw foodies, you'll have to try for yourself. read more

I have seen this little cafe for years and years but I had not been in there until Feb 28. My mom is an orthodox Buddhist. On the Buddhism Holy Days, she is not only vegan but she is not allowed garlic and onions in her dietary. I called and spoke with the store owner. He is so helpful. He listened to my needs and specific requests. He modified the recipes and made us very delicious - Thai Wrap, burrito, beet salad, crunchy celery salad. The chocolate chips and red velvet cookies are also delicious. The ingredients are fresh. Overall, I am very happy with both the food and the service of this place. I will definitely come back again. read more

Wish we lived closer to come by more often but used to be a regular when I lived here years ago, came by again recently and happy to report it's still going well. Some of my favorites are the gazpacho, pesto pizza, nori roll, chia pudding and the chocolate cake (YUM!). There's parking right across, you better pick up early because they do run out so then you'll be left to choose from what's there. It is on the more expensive side but the ingredients are really fresh and you feel good after eating it. Really shows how much other restaurants compromise on fresh ingredients I suppose. You'll feel good after eating here, that's the best compliment I can give them. read more

My desire: I want abs. The problem: I love food too much. I can workout but saying no to bacon, carbs and sweets..oh lordy that's hard! I've had Que SeRaw SeRaw bookmarked for quite sometime due to the glorious reviews of their all vegan items. They're close by our place but I never have seem to remember them or stop by at the right time. One day after a workout my cousin and I decided to fuel up here. He was on a vegan diet as a detox for several months before so I knew I was coming with the right open minded person. We stopped by around 1ish and they close at 2. Unfortunately nothing "lunchish" was really left. They mainly had desserts. The women had told me that they only make a certain amount for the day. I wish they had more supply to make some as requested. Sad, we went to a Mediterranean place a few blocks down to eat, but returned to pick up dessert before they closed. I got the coffee cheesecake slice. It was a warm day but on the short drive, my cake melted a bit. The cake was delightful. Not as pronounced in flavor as I'd like and the taste and consistency was a bit different than normal cheesecake but it was healthy and satisfied my sweet tooth. It didn't taste diluted at all. I think some of the items that they offer are a bit high in price point especially given that it's not made to order. I'm hoping to give them a proper try for their wraps or pizza. read more

Perfection and aaahhhazjng! I've been raw, vegan, plant-based for more than half my life, so I've eaten my fair share of raw food. This place is legit. It's super fresh, not overly nutty - sometimes raw food can just have too many nuts involved in the recipes. I purchased the OMG soup, Pad Thai, Nori Rolls and Cinnamon Rolls. All so wonderful! Super cute place and great model to preorder food and pick-up for the week! read more

The only truly organic eatery in the Peninsula which I am oh so grateful for! I have been meaning to check this spot out for quite a while now and I am so glad I finally did today. My new go-to for nourishing, flavor-packed meals and treats. With how much people seem to care about living a healthy lifestyle in this area, it boggles my mind how little demand there is for prepared food that is at least non-GMO and pesticide free. I truly appreciate Que SeRaw SeRaw's commitment to providing this for our community, and for making it absolutely delicious. I do empathize with others comments about the portions being small, as I did have to purchase quite a few items to feel full (lunch + dessert set me back about $42), but I do also sympathize with the steep cost of doing business in this area, as well as the cost of preparing organic AND nutritious raw food. Even their almond milk is house made and *sprouted* which is quite a laborious process. I'm sure if they could afford to price things more competitively they would. Ultimately, I am very grateful to you, Que SeRaw SeRaw. Thank you for gracing the Peninsula with your presence! read more

People say SF has a lot of "healthy", "vegan" options but really, I can count them on one hand and Que SeRaw SeRaw is a hard to come by raw vegan spot in the peninsula. Super tiny and quaint spot great for pick up, but worth visiting. I wish the demand for raw vegan was higher in the bay. In the past decade this has been the one clean option even before I explored raw vegan. After attending raw festivals and visiting other raw vegan spots around the country I'm even more grateful to have them here and look forward to an expansion some day! read more

Whee!!! Fresh, raw, vegan food to go! I would totally be vegan if I had the time to grate, spiral, grind and chop everyday. QSS does all the work: -beautifully presented food -flavorful -unique recipes for familiar items -many gluten and wheat free -all vegan and organic -no soy that I could see -agave is used sparsely Highly recommend: mock tuna pate, seaweed salad, any of the pizzas, nori rolls and the burrito. Small quibble: a smidge salty for me. Food is portioned pretty dainty, but $7.50 is not bad for the burrito and the nori rolls, those were super filling. They also sell day old items at a discount, scored the mock tuna pate for $3! Remember to carry some mints post meal, lots of garlic, onions and spices! Awesome service and when they close they typically transport the items to the grocer next door. Items are meant to be consumed the same day, but they were great the next day too! read more

This place literally blew my mind. I've been to other vegan places like this before which had good reviews, but the food just tasted mediocre so I wasn't expecting much going from this place. I'm not even vegan but decided to give this place a try because I wanted something healthy, and a lot of their items looked good on the menu. I came in on a Tuesday morning, and the lady that was working let me sample some of their thai wrap and banana smoothie. I was shocked by how much flavor they both had and couldn't believe that all the ingredients they use are vegan and organic! I also got their creamy cucumber soup and poquito burrito which was interesting. I wish the cucumber soup had a little more flavor. I wanna come back and eventually wanna try everything on their menu. The only down side about this place is that everything's a little pricey. read more

First time coming here and I wish I knew about this place sooner!! Amazing healthy food. I am trying to live a healthier lifestyle and having this place close by makes it so easy. Que SeRaw SeRaw - Wraps, scones and strawberry cobbler! - Vegan Near Me - Burlingame, California

I am so happy to see this place still thriving in the Bay Area. It is the LONE healthy, raw food vegan place in the Bay! If you want real ingredients, no additives, and just delicious food this is the place. I used to come whenever I could because sometimes I could not make the hours that they were open, but now they are open 9-5! This is a nice quickstop to and from the airport to get REAL food since eating at airports is usually a hot mess. Please support this small business!, we are so lucky to have them! I LOVED every single thing that I got there: I had two smoothies so far, two soups with the lemongrass curry being my FAVE, the yummy thai wraps and thai salad, the kale salad, and the delightful chocolate mouse cake which was just avocados and dates with a almondbased crust. I feel so good to eat there. Everything is so flavorful, I will be back every chance I can get! Thank you! Also Monica is a delight to speak to, she makes many of the dishes and has been there before the store switched owners. She is super nice, helpful, and helps me decide which dishes to try! You will not regret any of her dishes for sure! read more

I'm so happy to see you guys are open and I'll be ordering and eating amazing food from you tomorrow!! I love Que SeRaw SeRaw!! OMG!! I just had to follow up with my post yesterday on the fantastically tasty food I picked up!! I'm savoring every precious bite and trying to make it last as long as possible! From the beautiful burritos bound lovingly in their delicate homemade wraps full of fresh, crispy slivered lettuce, perfect vegetables, yummy taco "meat" and delightfully "cheesy" sauce, to my amazing creamy cool cucumber dill soup brimming with perfectly balanced flavors completed by a garnish of fresh tiny diced cucumber, such welcome Summery goodness!! Every bite a delight! Now, my first time trying your decedent aioli sauce that I bought to go with my absolutely perfect sunflower crackers is nothing short of addictive! Help me!! The lasagna is such a bodacious raw take on an Italian classic, elevating you from the usual "pasta coma" to a "happy I ate the whole thing" dance! It's so fresh, "cheesy" and creamy and made of the stuff of culinary dreams! Yum! Finally, I had to hide the treasured gems from myself, also know as Que Seraw Seraw chocolate chip cookies right into the deep freeze or I'm afraid I'd completely gobble them all up immediately! So amazing with their perfectly not-too-sweet cashew cookie dough texture but with a very fine nutty crunch, punctuated with perfect chunks of sweet, dark, melty homemade raw chocolate! You make my tastebuds, belly and body all sing simultaneously! I love everything you make Que SeRaw SeRaw!! If you weren't a restaurant I'd propose marriage right here! I only wished I lived closer! Seriously, If you've never tried this place, waste no time getting there! Now! You'll be so glad you did!!! read more

I really enjoyed the Thai Salad with Pate ($9) and the Nori Roll with fake salmon ($9) ! :) The Nori roll can taste a little bitter if you dont bite quick enough into the paté part. I also wish the Thai salad had more of that delicious sauce!! But it was enough to get me most of the salad. Great hole in the wall. Seating and small tables and benches outside to enjoy the lovely scenery. read more

Was in the neighborhood so I decided to check out this tiny storefront. I got the nori roll and the cookies. The nori roll was really good but not that filling. On the other hand, I couldn't believe that the tuna inside was not real tuna! If I could afford this food and if my stomach wasn't so streched out that it requires more food to keep me full, I would eat this all day, every day! The cookies...my goodness were a delectible treat. The employee advised me that the cookies need to be refrigerated. I quickly found out that the cookies melt and become like cookie dough if not properly stored. But who doesn't like eating raw cookie dough? And since this vegan version contains no eggs, I could eat without fear of peeing out my rear. I also froze some cookies, and it still is edible right out the freezer; no need to thaw them! I will come back whenever I want a healthy, guilt-concious, wallet-busting treat for myself. read more

Hands down would absolutely go back here again- this place was my jive!! Tons of vegan and vegetarian options that feed every single one of your cells and just leave you feelin GOOD!! It's a grab and go type setup with tons of options for throughout the day. I grabbed a cauliflower risotto celery which had yummy raisins and was pretty mild, light and delicious. Definitely check this place out. Also, the lavender chocolate is killer, make sure you give it a try. read more

So one of my goals for the year (or each day cause I'm living in the moment) is to incorporate more Vegan and Vegetarian dishes into my life. I've also have been obsessed with YouTube and watching Rawvana, FullyRawKristina and a bunch of "What I ate today" vegan edition..and with that, I've developed an interest with eating raw vegan/vegan foods and desserts! Now, where I live there's nothing like that, that I've seen, anyway. There are no fresh pressed juice bars or vegan restaurants, so I knew that once I touched back down in the Bay that I would find something! I checked for raw vegan places and found this cute little gem and decided grab a few things before we hit the road to SoCal. It's a rather small cafe-ish style eatery. There are no tables or chairs but a small wooden booth along the window. You can see everything they're making right in front of you. There is a glass case that carries all of the different foods from: Almond milk smoothies, Raw Vegan Chocolate Cheesecakes, Truffles, Naan, No Bean Hummus, Nori rolls with Mock Tuna, Salads and more goodies. I had: Naan - 2 big, thick type cracker, full on flavor, nice texture, not too hard and not stale. No Bean Hummus - so creamy and garlicky! Almond Milk Smoothie with Strawberries - had Dino kale. I'm not gonna lie I was kind of surprised by the price but I get it. I probably wouldn't get the Smoothie again just because, I can save $6 for a small cup and make one myself BUT I'm so down for the other items! Nori Roll with Mock Tuna - it was really good, veggies were so crunchy and the avocado was nice and fresh. Chocolate cheesecake - Holy Moly, man... That was honestly life changing for me. It was thick but airy and light, creamy, sweet.. It just, it was amazing. I stopped mid slice and thought "damn Gee don't eat it all" and then I was like "nah, there's no sugar or dairy, enjoy that mug!!" So I had two.... WOW!!!! Best food spot in Burlingame. And healthiest. I am truly blown away. Organic produce.. vegan.. and gluten free. Absolutely incredible. Usually when I go to places that claim vegan and gluten free.. the quality is "so so".. but the flavors from this spot was next level! I've been to many Michelin Star restaurants and I am not kidding - the flavors were up to par as a Michelin Star restaurant. I am truly blown away! I am so happy to have randomly come across this spot today! I can't believe I've never been before. Highly highly recommend read more

Attention carnivores! Please be brave and venture into this shop! I am a huge fan of sushi and the "tuna" nori roll always hits the spot when I'm jonesing for some sushi. I read a number of reviews on Yelp before my first visit and was skeptical to say the least. I am in day 2 of a 21 day wellness cleanse (no alcohol, gluten, animal products, sugar and caffeine) and thought I was only going to be able to eat salad morning noon and night. I walked in the door and as met with a great big smile by Alicia and told her "I have no idea what I am doing, please help me." She proceeded to give me some info and even better, a few samples. I walked out of there with a deviled salad, Buddha bar salad, power balls and something else that will be for lunch tomorrow. I must say, the food taste really good, the flavors are very clean and I was amazed! A bit pricey, but let's get real. A) it's Burlingame B) IT'S BURLINGAME and C) it's healthy, all natural, fresh ingredients that are great for you. They gave me a lot of ideas and I am excited to hit whole foods for the first time tonight (with my black Amex card in hand) and start getting creative with some new recipes. Hidden little gem! I finally tried this place out and my only regret is that I didn't go here sooner! I had their Nori Mock Tuna Rolls, which didn't look like anything special and the portion looked small, but as soon as I took my first bite it was love at first bite! Amazing!! It was also surprisingly filling. Perfect portion for lunch! For dessert I had their Chocolate Cheesecake. This was to DIE for! You will never miss having real cheesecake again after trying this! Great raw vegan place with quite a menu, but you don't order from the menu. What you see in the glass refrigerator is what they have available that day. With that said, they are limited as to what they sell each day, so you want to get there early. I've always found parking right in front. Mock Tuna Pate:***** (Good to use as a spread) Miso Pate:***** (Also good as a spread or by itself) Kale parsley salad:***** (it has a sweet dressing on it) Pesto Pizza: ***** ( has a lot of parsley on top, more than what i've tried at other raw vegan places) Almond milk w/ bananas: ***** (daughter loves this!) portions are small for the price Friendly staff! :) read more

I am pleasantly pleasantly surprised at how savory raw vegan food can be! I stumbled upon this place because I was searching for gluten-free food to go for lunch. I've perused this area of Burlingame before but never noticed them! I stopped in and just picked up some nori rolls. Everything is convenient made and packaged which is just what I need because I wanted something I could pick up fast and eat at the office during my busy work day. My disclosure is that I am not vegan; don't hate me but I love meat! So I was incredibly impressed that these nori rolls with mock tuna paste tastes just like a real sushi roll with fish in it -- but it's not meat at all! And the portions are perfect: I was satisfied and not groggy either. No post-lunch daze for me! I will have to come back and try other goodies. read more

Wow! The food here is fantastic! I shared a bunch of food with a friend and everything was delicious. We shared the nori wrap with faux tuna. It has organic almonds and sunflower seeds, tahini, celery, red onion, parsley, lemon, garlic, kelp, nori, avocado (when available), carrot, arugula, romaine and salt. It was $7.99. We also shared the Thai wrap, $8.99. It has organic romaine, red cabbage, walnuts, red bell peppers, dates, green onions, carrots, celery, cucumber, sesame seeds, ginger, spearmint, cilantro, Tamari soy sauce, apple cider vinegar, tahini, sesame oil, garlic and red pepper flakes in a raw dehydrated coconut wrap. The no bean hummus is also very good. It's $3.79. It has organic walnuts, zucchini, sesame seeds, olive oil, lemon, garlic, cayenne and salt. The mint chocolate chip cheesecake was my favorite thing, $6.99. The crust was made of organic almonds, dates, cocoa powder and salt. Filling: Organic cashews, almond milk, coconut sugar, coconut oil, cocoa powder, sunflower lecithin, peppermint flavoring, vanilla and salt. The chocolate torte was $5.99 and made of organic almonds, avocado, dates, cocoa powder, coconut sugar, coconut flakes, salt and vanilla. It was very good but not as amazing as the mint dessert, in my opinion. For my drink I had the banana kale smoothie. I know it sounds weird but it was amazing. It was sweet like a banana. The best thing is that your gluten free friends can eat everything!!! Great place for vegetarians! read more
