Scottsdale Fashion Square has always held a special place in my heart. I've been coming here since…read moreI was young, and it's been so fun watching the mall evolve throughout the years while continuing to feel like one of Scottsdale's signature destinations. What I love most is the incredible variety. There's an impressive collection of upscale shops and luxury retailers, along with plenty of familiar favorites, boutiques, beauty destinations, and everything in between. Whether I'm browsing the latest designer pieces, treating myself to something special, or simply enjoying a little retail therapy, there's always something that catches my eye. The dining scene is another major highlight. There are so many amazing restaurants and places to grab a bite, making it easy to turn a shopping trip into an entire afternoon or evening out. I love that you can come for a little shopping and end up staying for dinner, drinks, or dessert. The mall itself has that polished Scottsdale atmosphere that makes the experience feel elevated, and there's always a sense of energy and sophistication without it feeling overly formal. It has changed quite a bit since I was younger, but somehow it has maintained the charm that keeps me coming back. If there's one consistent downside, it's the parking. Depending on the day and time, navigating the parking areas can be frustrating, and finding a convenient spot can definitely require some patience. Still, after all these years, Scottsdale Fashion Square remains one of my favorite places to shop, dine, browse, and simply enjoy the Scottsdale experience. It's nostalgic for me, but it continues to offer something new every time I visit.

We got lucky and found a space right away. The escalator going up and down was out of service. The two elevators were operational so all was good. The plaza features many familiar named stores, a Harkins Theater, food court, sit down restaurants, high end designer stores and many boutiques. Stairs and escalators will take you to various floors. Clean restrooms are scattered throughout the plaza. Be ready to shop until you drop. You'll also find valet parking and WiFi in the plaza.

My 4th grader loves coming and hanging out in the castle playing with the LEGO tables and other stem toys. Very inviting and just outside is the splash pad and park. The adults section is huge with lots of seating, tables, and comfortable chairs to read on. They have a large 2 room Book Sale section where you can find books, magazines, puzzles and dvds for $1-$3. My favorite library in Arizona. Also there's a full service cafe inside the library. I ordered a coffee today. Very convenient!

One of the first things I noticed was how spacious the library feels. Everything looked clean and well maintained, which made it a really comfortable place to settle in and focus. There was actually already a line of people waiting outside for the library to open at 1 PM on Sunday, which says a lot about how popular it is. One feature I thought was especially cool is their seed library, where you can pick up seeds to plant your own plants at home. They also offer the usual cultural passes, which is always a great perk with a library card. Speaking of that, I really liked how unique their library card designs are. I was able to sign up for a card today thanks to a very helpful staff member who made the process quick and easy. Inside, there were plenty of tables and outlets almost everywhere, which made it perfect for getting work done. There is also a free charging center where you can charge devices. Parking was also simple. I parked at the Scottsdale Civic Center Garage, which made access really convenient. Overall, I was very happy with my visit today and will definitely be coming back.

Fry Investment Company

I joined the Fry Investment company in early August, 2021 and the deal was that as a "Lifetime…read moremember" one would receive in their box/email weekly reports every Friday. Right after signing up we received a total of 6 weekly reports each Friday and after that no further Friday reports. So, we waited thinking that with the holiday coming up (Memorial Day) that the Friday reports was delayed and would eventually show up in our email. No reports continued after the September holiday, so we called Fry Investment and was told that somehow their reports was being rejected by our email carrier. I explained to the person I spoke with name Nate and informed him that our email never changed and why would we receive week by week the promised reports for 6 weeks and all of a sudden our email server, as Nate claims, was rejecting their reports. He then told me "well you can always jut go to the Fry website and read the most current report". I explained to him that the agreement was per Fry Investment was a weekly report via email as promised when we signed up. Frustrated with no help from Nate other that going to Fry Investment website and reading the report, I told them I wanted to end my subscription and a refund. He said it was more than 30 days and Fry Investment would not give me a refund. Interestingly, he had no problem with our email and sending us via email a letter regarding our termination. Spent close to $300 dollars and promises regarding what the company would do as a member was not done. Do not recommend Fry Investment to anyone!

We ALWAYS use The Parking Spot when traveling for long weekends or the trips. There are currently 3…read morelocations near the airport and we usually use #2. They make everything really easy, and they are now fully shaded!!! So awesome! Reservations can be made online through the app. Upon arrival, you can scan the QR code that is created when you make the reservation, and the workers will tell you which aisle to go down. Once you've unpacked the vehicle of your belongings and locked up, a bus will usually be ready to pick you up at your car! The seating is nice and there's racks for your suitcases while you travel to the airport. They'll ask which airline you're going to and take you directly there. You'll also receive a card to give back them when you pick up your car, so they'll know where to drop you off. When you've come back and are ready to pick up your car, the buses will be located down in courtesy vehicles of the arrivals area. I think when you make the reservations you'll put in information about your flight too, so they'll have a general idea of when to pick you up. But make sure you get on the right bus, as there are three different locations. Once you're dropped off at your car, you'll drive back to the gates and scan your QR code again and pay. They offer complimentary water bottles too when you exit! I love The Parking Spot and recommend it to everyone!

Alright, here goes... I feel the need to update my review as…read moreI did not know how it worked the first time I parked here before a flight out. Take ntoes!! The first time I came here, I must have pulled a ticket from the machine going into the facility instead of scanning the barcode on the email that was sent to me when I made my initial reservation. Soooo, that led me to pay for a full day when I tried to exit. I don't remember actually pulling a ticket because I scanned my barcode when I went in. I guess omw out of the facility is when I pulled the ticket, and I panicked because there was no other way out and there were already 3 cars behind me. I was trapped so I had no choice but to pay twice my reservation cost, around $64 to get out. My second time, I read the email thoroughly and upon reading the response to my initial review from management, that is definitely what happened. Now I know better!! I do like this service as the shuttles come and go it seems every 5 minutes. Once I get to the curb at the airport, a shuttle usually just pulls right up. I don't have to text anyone or wait forever like I've had to do with other shuttles. My car is secured in their outdoor lot where most spots are actually covered, and the walk from the shuttle to my car is very short. The property is well lit and the office usually has an employee at the desk in the lobby area. Be sure to scan that email QR code upon entering and exiting so you don't make the same mistake I did! I emailed them but did not get a partial refund. Oh well.

Finally a guy came out to help opened the lift gate. This was a bad sign already. On my way back again the barcode didn't work (not surprised), waited for 15 minutes an employee came out to help opened, the digital display showed I owed $8.00 on top of $85.75 previously paid online. I asked the employee why do I have to pay extra, he kept rushing me to exit the parking without providing any explanations. He was not nice at all. I felt horrible to be taken advantage off for the extra charge and Preflight's egregious practice is not acceptable. Beware to park at this place.
