A certain Yelper you might know only had tshirts and a hoodie so he did not spend a lot of time outside. A quick run to the (heated!) rest room and then back into the van. The restrooms are clean and there are vending machines. Getting back onto the highway was okay. They have a long acceleration ramp which is helpful as there is some incline here. There is also a corresponding rest area on the other side of the highway for westbound traffic. This is a beautiful part of the country and the highway parallels the Saint Regis River as well as the Northern Pacific Trail. If it's not cold, spend some time enjoying the scenery. It is a simple pullout along the Clara Fork River with straight ahead parking for two or three semis and a half-dozen cars. The floors are wood laminate which I appreciated because many times carpet has stains. I dropped a little water on the floor so I wiped it up and sadly, the tissue was black (see photo). The Sturgis motorcycle rally was coming to an end so there were some bikers next-door. They thought it was a good idea to sit outside our door and talk very loudly about their experience at the rally. That's not the motel's fault of course. I do feel like it's a little pricey for what you get but I would not recommend anyone avoid this place because overall, it was fine.

There seemed to be a bunch of people in long term stays there (they had BBQs outside their rooms). I guess right outside our room was the gathering/smoking/spit out your gum/talk loudly on the phone spot. I went out by myself to get something out of my car, not expecting three dudes to be right outside my door who watched me the entire time. Super uncomfortable. I also think the price was a bit high for what you get.

You can turn off the flow if it's just too hot for you. It's $18 for two hours soak you can stay longer if they're not crowded but honestly two hours is plenty here. Nice place with friendly folks cute cats running around the property. Looks like they're building some additional tubs. Almost $84 for something that is not even worth $5. Filthy that you have no idea. Creepy like from a Halloween movie. As soon as I opened the door and I saw what I saw, I wanted to leave that place. I didn't go to another place because I was driving for a 9 of hours already, I was tired and I was with my mom an elderly person. And they charged my card already, but I should of leave and forget the $84 to do them a favor, because the night was horrible. First it stinks like pee all over. I had to spray my perfume everywhere. At night time I killed spiders. There are spider webs everywhere. The walls are very dirty. The lamp, shade and night table, discusting. The power button from the t.v. was missing, the remote control didn't work, so no t.v. since the button for power was gone, only a hole. Only one towel in the bathroom, the rest were hand towels. The bathtub didn't have a shower head. No terminations on the bathtub (when culkie is so cheap) spiders were coming out of there. From the closets it seems that a creepie person is going to come out of them, filthy. The carpet wasn't vacuum and it seems that they haven't been shampoo like in the last 20 years. Do have air conditioning but you can see this big amount of dust coming out of the filter and craveses. The mattress as old as the town. In another words RUN from this place.
