When we first began our adventure, a member of someone's group was removed because they were highly intoxicated. I was thankful for it because the man made my group uncomfortable. I had zip-lined before from tree top to tree top so I expected it to be that way. It was NOT. I repeat it was NOT. I should first warn you that if you do not like roller coaster that have drops in them, this zip-lining is not for you. I myself do not like roller coaster like that so I was in for a rude awakening. So, the very first zip line was a short hike away from the entrance but it very steep. My only complaint about this hike is there was no time to catch your breath before getting on the zip line. Also, there was no water or drinks given. It was in the high 80s on the day we went. Anyhow, once you are on the line, they make you show them the moves you learned for flying. I liked the idea of it but I did not like that you had kinda hang over the side (you are harnessed in but it was still scary). The first line was pretty short so I did not really decide if I liked it or not. After your whole group goes you hike up to the second line. It's not a bad hike but it is kind of long. Once I got to the second zip-line, I knew that this zip-lining was not for me. Once they got me all hooked in, I could not make myself lift my legs to begin my descent down the line. I should have turned back then because once you get that far there is no turning back. So, I did the second line and HATED it. I hated to feel like I was falling and could not slow myself down. Well, I could not turn back. So, I did the last two lines and hated them just as much as the first two because of the drop feeling you get when coming down the line. Ski lift: After zip-lining we did the ski lift. I would like to give it 4 stars because the operator who was supposed to slow the lift down and give some kind of direction did not. When we walked up, we asked to get a squirt of his hand sanitizer bottle and he acted like an asshole about it. Then, when we went to get on the lift he didn't tell us nothing after showing him the ticket. He went back to reading his book. So, the process of getting on the lift was funny because it scooped us up at full speed and then we were laughing trying to figure how to get situated while we were getting lifted through the pulley system and bouncing around. The lift itself was a little questionable because there was a lot of creaking and squeaking noises throughout our journey around it. But, it was really long & relaxing. I would definitely say it was worth the money to ride. Also, the same man who was an asshole during the getting on process did not slow the lift or direct us on how to get off. We made a quick dash off while still going fast and almost fell because we were trying to use a wooden step thing & not get hit by the next chair. But, overall it was a great trip.

Hidden Gem!! The…read moreLost Creek State Park Campground is a hidden gem nestled deep in the woods of Anaconda but well worth the drive. There are 21 sites nestled between tall lodge pole pines that look up to massive rock walls surrounding the park. If you continue driving deep into the canyon to the back of the park you will be pleasantly surprised to find 5-6 campsites that accommodate tents as well as small RVs (we have a 13'). Our neighbor had an 18' RV & it fit snugly in the camp site. We arrived close to dark, but the bonus for driving all the way back to the end of the canyon was a beautiful bubbling stream right behind the campsites that was generated from a small waterfall that was only a 150 yard walk on a paved trail from the main road. Don, the camp host, though a rugged man, was incredibly helpful and pleasant to speak with. As soon a we arrived, he showed up in his truck and made sure we had everything we needed & went on to let us know about the waterfalls behind our campsite and the Golden Eagles nesting above. In the morning, he made it a point to come by & let us know about the Mountain Blue Bird nest at campsite 2. Even though we had to drive through some questionable looking country neighborhoods to get to the park, it was well worth the trek from I-90. Lost Creek State Park is now our new favorite camping spot in Montana. Highly recommend!

There's a trail behind the center that is well-maintained. Unfortunately, the visitor center was closed when I stopped by, but there was still plenty to do in the area. Peeking in the windows, it looks well stocked with things to buy and exhibits. I'll hopefully stop by when they're open next time!

Zero communication from the RV park manager, Massive hassle with parking situations, right off the…read morehighway, restrictions on when you can do laundry, poor water pressure. All my stuff outside was constantly moved by the park manager. All around it was a terrible stay, stayed a month. I've been to several parks all around Washington, Oregon, Montana, California and this is by far the worst. The dog park is a joke. Seemed like the rules only apply to certain people in the park. Some serious work needs done here, some it has potential to be a nice place just needs some major improvement.

But it it RIGHT ON highway 93 which is a major thoroughfare going to Kalispel and Whitefish. Cars and semi's all night long and they are within 50 feet of your rig. The park itself is being refurbished and actually doing quite a good job of it. Big level pad for the trailer and a side pad for the truck. Good electric, sewer and water. No cable but Antenna picks up a number of stations. So park is good, but location was UNBEARABLE. Worst night we have ever had. There are not many choices in Missoula, but definitely take a pass on this one. Can't put lipstick on a pig. LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION.

The deli has good coffee (espresso, lattes, etc) as well as the only wheat-berry chili I've ever had anywhere. They are also a bakery with nice bread, cinnamon rolls, scones, macaroons, breakfast from the grill and sandwiches made to order. The store has a wild assortment of necessities, Montana kitsch, junk food & snacks. The deli closes at 7pm, but the store is open much longer.

All they serve is a burger or pizza so we had the highland burger with the side salad. One of the most delicious burgers we've ever had. Seriously good. Cooked to perfection and their homemade sauce just elevated it. And the salad... wow!! Spring mix, gorgonzola, apples and mixed nuts. Amazing, we live in Alberton and this is going to be our new go to lunch spot
